With election season upon us Christian Nationalism is on the rise in America. This channel stands against having allegiance to any other nation than the Kingdom of God (which is Ruled by our King Jesus.)
This is foundational to the Gospel message.
Christian Nationalism is not compatible with the Gospel.
Any thought process that Unites a professed follower of Jesus to the nation they live in rather than to the Kingdom of God goes against the entire narrative of Scripture.
God’s solution for the world is not a Christian nation. God’s solution for the corrupt nations is Jesus. We are proclaiming Jesus as king to all corrupt nations ruled by both wicked spiritual and human powers.

CN is simply Christians being leaders rather than Atheist Communists
running our Govt. It's Gods image bearers standing up and publicly saying
"This is Gods country" and His laws are our laws. Right now we are being

What do you think of the idea that human institutions can be redeemed by the Kingdom as it expands? Education is an example- can it be redeemed by Christians establishing our own standards in contrast to the state's agenda, and producing better results? I think so.
In the same way, can government itself be redeemed, or is ruling over other people inherently a Gen.11 based corruption of humanity?
Keeping this in mind, is the original American government closer to the ideal of every man governing himself by the power of the Spirit of God, or is it doomed to failure since not everyone is walking in agreement with God?
I think back to Judges, keeping in mind they didn't have communion to the Holy Spirit like we do, but we can see patterns of behavior with minimal government, cycles of external threats and failure to honor the covenant. Can Christians do better in this age?

I grew up spiritually amongst the Charismatic Christian community and I was exposed to the supernatural early in my walk, I also was a missionary to Russia and experienced God’s power at hand. Obviously Dr. Heiser provides us with a better understanding of this realm and I honestly am saddened about his passing last year 😢. Thanks for the video 👍

Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world. So yes, Christian nationalism is way off course of His way. But so is Dominionism. Only one man will bring the Kingdom spoken of in the scriptures, that is Jesus Christ at his second coming. So please do not be deceived by the doctrines of [men].
The body of Christ, His Ekklesia, further the Kingdom by our actions of love to a fallen world. We don't sit back and wait for Christ to return. He is waiting for us to demonstrate the manifold wisdom of God to the rulers,authorities, and principalities. In Rev 12, it links the power that displaced Satan with the blood of the lamb, the word of their(those who follow Christ with an attitude of not loving their life even unto death. We play a part in Gods plan for redemption of His entire creation.

In Eph 3:10-11, it says that we His Ekklesia, or Body of Christ, demonstrate the manifild wisdom of God to the forces of evil in the heavenly places and that this is according to an eternal purpose realized in Christ our Lord. Note demonstrating Gods wisdom is an action on our part and it plays a vital role in Gods overall plan of redemption and reconciliation of His entire creation.

I have followed Heiser for a very long time and even had the opportunity to communicate with him before his passing. The conclusions you draw re Chistian Nationalism are yours. Yes, Christians are now citizens of heaven, but we also are called to enforce that kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Some nations, like the United States actually set out to covenant with God to bring the jurisdiction of heaven on this earth. Some nations like China, renounced the one true God and evil principalities enforce their jurisdiction. Yes, we proclaim Jesus as king to ALL nations, but as of now, most have rejected that proclamation.

It would be great if we could all just come to Jesus; but God developed nation states with distinct Gods over them at the tower of Babel because of EVIL. That's for Israel. For the Body of Christ Church, once we believe the Gospel of Grace, we are justified, we are sanctified, we are Bpatised by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ, and we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. I think you are confusing our doctrine for Israel's.
Have we considered that 'the Table of Nations' could be more than just geographical land masses but rather a representation of diverse people as nations, given to the sons of God to rule over?
If not, where would all other geographical places not mentioned in that passage fit in?
Relatively, when Jesus set apart, 72 disciples were sent out to claim those mentioned nations.
Those groups later dispersed around the earth, and Jesus would commission them to 'all the world'.
Romans 9:3 "For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race,". Although Paul is a citizen of Heaven he still identifies with his country and his race. While I am a citizen of Heaven, an ambassador, I also have a heart for the place I was born and feel a duty as a US citizen as long as it doesn't conflict with my primary mission of sharing the gospel.
I'm divided. Yes, I'm a citizen of Heaven, an ambassador of the Kingdom. However I also am a citizen of a country with the right and duty to vote. And so I want to live in a culture that honors Christian values like the right to life and liberty. I disagree with those that think any political activity is anti-Christian.

I know a lot of Christians who have interest in making the nation in which they live a place where Truth, Righteousness and Justice are known and valued. It's not a question of allegiance but of carrying out their responsibilities as ambassadors of the Kingdom. We should let our nation go to hell( figure of speech) for the sake of "unity"?

Please define Christian Nationalism. I’d love to know what media you listen to that’s made you think Christian Nationalism is on the rise and that it’s somehow a bad thing.
Heiser is great and his work on the divine council is not indicative of your conclusions. Israel inhabits the nations. This nation was founded under God. We are called by God to be the light in all facets of life.
The opposite of Nationalism is Globalism. You should research some of the implications of globalism ie cultural Marxism if you haven’t. It’s not what God wants for his people.

@@sarapianalto2323 let's presume that your comment is theologically correct, it only means that there is a big "Christian" Nationalism movement of young men growing and this video/channel and most others aren't addressing the underlying issues.
There are tons of confused/misguided Christians, telling them they are wrong is the first step but finding out why they are looking outside of Christ is just as important. Our young men need to be asked to speak and Christians need to listen. The mistreatment and oppression of young men is the civil rights issue of our time.
I see Christian Nationalism the same as one would see Islamic Nationalism or Hindu Nationalism. These ideologies spawn idolatries. We see it plainly here in America. The Bible clearly tells us (even the unlearned at Heisers level) that there are powers and principalities ruling over humans in spirit (Daniel and Paul tells us). Early “Christian’s” did not call themselves Christian’s. They were referred to and known as “Followers of The Way”. I can go many places and not say I’m “Christian” because it can evoke hostility or an adverse reaction to some. I simply say, “I follow the way of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus the Christ. This becomes a conversation starter instead of an instant good/bad reaction. Thank you for all the time and effort you put in these videos! I am learning so much! I do have a question, though. At the beginning Tim Mackie says that God a looted the nations to be ruled by the also rebels sons of god and then deutoronomy 32 describes these rulers failing to rule justly. If they were rebels in the first place, why would they be expected to be just? Were these divine beings rebels or good when they were given the nations? I’m really confused with this, please help!
Thank you so much for kind words. They were not rebellious until after they were assigned to the nations. Before they work a part of his divine council. Biblically speaking even after God assigned some of his divine council to rule over the nations, God still had a divine council. Spiritual beings that were chose to rule over the nations failed to rule justly and rebelled much in the same humanity did. It’s important to always keep in focused that it’s a dual rebellion of both spiritual beings and humanity.

Yes, I agree. Yahweh is certainly NOT The Most High Lord GOD -- Elyon, or El Elyon. Yahweh is the LORD God, one of the sons of GOD, one of the Elohim. This is in the Bible (KJV + open your concordance) Deuteronomy 32:7-9, where the Most High divided the nations and gave the LORD, Yahweh, Jacob and the nation of Israel as his inheritance. You missed reading in Matthew 21:43--"The kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof." Read the whole chapter, then 22-24 where he tells about the destruction of the temple and fall of Jerusalem. After he was resurrected, he told the apostles to go into the world and preach to ALL creatures in ALL the nations.

NO ONE that I have encountered believes that this movement will usher in the kingdom of our lord Yeshua.
