For those of you not familiar w Tawanchai, the man is a beast. He has broken opponents arms and legs when they try to block them. Absolute nightmare.
man has a cold face throughout fights, deadly
@@aryahonraopatil6731 yes. He almost looks bored 😂
I thought they were gonna fight lol
thế hệ sau đàn em điều chịu sức ảnh hưởng của buakaw đó bạn
@@redmist6630 that wouldn't be fair 😂
Tbf to the both of them, their individual workouts are set for different goals. Tawanchai trains to be able to fight for set periods of time while the bodybuilder trains for aesthetics thus the different physiques.
I think it’s unfair for anyone to say that one form of training is “better” than the other when their goals are vastly different.
Both are still athletes at the end of the day. Ggs to both! And I’m looking forward to tawanchais next fight!
bodybuilders are not athletes and there training is pointless pretty much, big muscles for pretty much nothing. but thats just my opinion in the end ig
Yes, inshort one is for show and other is for go.
I personally don’t like the look of bodybuilder physiques, AND I also wouldn’t call Bodybuilders athletes.
@@bitterweet5115 To call bodybuilding training "pointless" is extremely ignorant.
@@moreassmoregas In a practical standpoint, it is indeed pointless. Although, from a subjective standpoint it isn't.
The body builder did alot better than i predicted
Because the dude didn’t wanna push himself that could get him injured
In comparison to Tawanchai who was intentionally breezing lol
I can guarantee you one thing, if they had a fight whether it was in a street a ring or a cage. The Thai boxer would destroy the bodybuilder, muscles just look good they don't make you a better fighter.
Cheers for the obvious 😂😂😂
Really 🤯
Well, it really depends. If a trained fighter gets big and muscular it can be to their advantage as the muscle can be used to generate striking power and to be stronger in grappling. It will however come at the cost of endurance as muscles require more oxygen. A bodybuilder who isn’t trained in combat will look very stiff and awkward, but look up a man named Johny Yusupov. He alone is proof that you can be huge muscular and also an agile and technical fighter IF you train for it. Ciryl Gane. Francis Ngannou. These are huge men who know how to fight technically because they have trained for it.
@@wr4thbringerif we’re Strictly talking a 5’8 guy who does Muay Thai his whole life vs a 5’8 guy that body built his whole life fought at 30 years old the Thai fighter would win. If the body builder done 1 class a week his whole life and the Thai fighter done 5 classes a week. I still think the Thai fighter would win. You need a lot of size to overcome the skill difference even if you are skilled yourself. That’s my take on this. There’s a lot of factors when it comes to discussions like this, like some people can have a smaller frame and hit like a truck but never actually learn how to throw a punch while others can learn how to throw a punch and still not hit the hardest. So many little details can make a difference in match ups like these
And a professional ping pong player would destroy the fighter at ping pong.
Also, what a weird choice of exercises for this video. There wasn't a single exercise bodybuilders do. I would have been more interested in how much Tawanchai can bench press or do on a leg press.
this doesnt show who is the fittest. They have different concentrations of muscle fibers (ex. fast twitch). The body builders muscles are so big due to the amount of damage done to them by lifting so much heavy weight over and over. Tearing and healing tearing and healing. Tawanchai year after year does intense cardio and muay thai training. These are two completely different muscle workouts/conditioning. Thats why they look so different. None of these "exercises" proves one is more "fit" than the other.
We don’t just develop cardio. We clinch a lot, we do a lot of pushups and sit-ups and pull-ups.
@@djamillakhdar-hamina3824and kicks which are very explosive (therefore targeting fast twitch fibers) movements.
Basically any athlete is more fit than a body builder.
wrong. they have different kinds of fitness depending on the metrics used.
say, can a marathon athlete lift his own bodyweight in squats deadlift and benchpress for reps? no. but a powerlifter can. so can a bodybuilder.
@@paulocuento9949 not every bodybuilder can. Of course they are prone to being stronger than the overall population but not every bodybuilder is created the same. Some of them will live off chasing the pump perpetually and do very high intensity, high reps stuff not really prioritizing strength gains. People who pursuit strengh as much as they do aesthetics might take an hybrid approach like power-building. Bodybuilders aren't really athletes and it's unfair to keep them in the same overall category.
This was awesome! Great way to promote the fight and fighter 🙌
When the subtitle showed “I’m good at bike races”
Tawanchai actually said “Winning this for what?”
This is funny for Thai people that we know he was just sarcastic.
What was he being sarcastic about
@@selenophile5256 he going to have a fight just 2 weeks away, he not even give his all.
Of course muscles matter . Tawanchai would’ve lost if he didn’t have MUSCLES he has the right type of muscles for this type of FITNESS performed on screen.
Fax
No one gets this lmao, also muscle quality > muscle quantity anyday
@@theshermantanker7043 there is no muscle quality, just your central nervous system
@gfjgclown🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡
Tawanchai have his most muscles in his Thighs
Insane he did this while in prep for arguably FOTY for Muay Thai, Tawanchai is a beast!!
Tawanchai would honestly make a great bodybuilder, his physique is aesthetic and flows well, if he put on some size he would probably be able to compete, its just about what you train for
why would you drop the manliest or most masculine sport for the gayest lol.
he'd have to give up muay thai though, he should def bodybuild once he retires though i agree
Do you realize that Tawanchai made about $200k per fight and he fight 4 times a year... this is not even including his month salary and income from others sources. So being a top class boxer made far higher income than most bodybuilder.
dude is perfect for fighting slim lean muscles compact i want his training regime lol @@SAKAYA22
He has narrow shoulders
love the humbleness displayed by both in this video.
Tawanchai already trained. I've done bodybuilding and Muay Thai, and the fitness doesn't even compare bodybuilding is a cakewalk.
Indeed
What a crazy man, Normally fighters will be super careful before a match and he's about to have a title one
dang social media guy, you should have put tawanchai in the title
I see a lot of calisthenics and muay thai friendly work outs. Not fair to do things Tawanchai is good at while not doing anything the other is good at. Lets see both do some deadlifts and bench presses.
We need more video like this
Great, Where's the Fight Part
Do more of these please!
Of course muscles are important. You need to balance it all out, so you get the best agility, strength, and endurance.
well said.
When Tawanchai doesn’t even pay attention to the bodybuilder jumping rope in full confidence knowing he’s gonna win lol 😂
What about leg press and bench press and bicep curl numbers 😂😂😂😂😂. Fighters are weak like normal human
he's not even trying. all he cared for was the fight lol
@@Manusia.satu1 They train with smaller weights but higher reps, they couldn't lift heavy weights like the bodybuilder, but bodybuilders most of the time don't have the endurance to do dozens or even hundreds of reps for endurance
Lmao fighters obviously still lift weights. Anyways any body builder will be destroyed in a fight so there’s no point Lol.@@Manusia.satu1
@@Manusia.satu1 who cares what you lift when u get beat up by a little boy
1. Sled Push (Fastest⚡ to 60M Wins)
2. Push ups
3. Jumping rope

Both respect each other, so humble 🫡❤
Both styles are strong in their own way with their own strength, respect for both 💪.
Tawanchai had his morning training earlier he said and didn’t want to push too hard. He can do way more than 15 pushups. So not really a fair contest tbh.
Difference between growing muscles and strengthening muscles
Respect to both for their own sports
Anywhere and anyhow I can get more of Frank, I'm all for it!
So the *right muscles matter for the right activity.*
While weight lifting for mass for something like grappling it uses a lot of blood up which destroys your stamina!
Weight lifting also builds muscles *symmetrically which balances antagonist & protagonist muscles!*
In *real life activities though rarely are any movements balanced requireing the muscles to contract dynamically for more then a short period of time or to stretch beyond an exaggerated range of motion especially in striking!*
For fighters it is not the amount of muscle, but how well those muscles can be utilized. And we haven't talked about the reflex and fighting instinct. I doubt that the big dude can land a hit on Tawanchai in a fight.
Depends on the kind of fight and the personality. Two prisoners with killer attitude the bigger heavier one has advantage pure aggression when there are no weapons and no rules.
@@lonewulfmo9128LMAO as soon as the guy gets hit for the first time by tawanchai all that agression will go away. As Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face
@@yeicore tawanchai huh? Ok. Sure.
@@lonewulfmo9128 no weapon and no rule ? Then the better fighter will win, regardless if he is the bigger one or not.
Every advantage is A Another Disadvantages...Depents How you Utilize it..
Nice content!! Keep it up
Was anyone else expecting a bodybuilder to get blasted by a kickboxer
in a fight maybe in all the other stuff naaah they are both athletes
one learn to fight one learn to be healthy and look good
You can see sow isolated workouts do to your body coordination. The bodybuilder does a lot of isolated workouts to train each muscles in body parts, so when he combines them all at once at jump rope, he jumps funny
its not solely isolation workouts. any person who doesn't practice jumping rope will look the same or worse.
Not all bodybuilders same. Some not athletic. Some are super athletic like Kim Jong Kook. He even bully MMA fighters (not Sung Hoon). He also would destroy Korean Zombie if he want to
@@Manusia.satu1 you must be joking. A celebrity against a mma pro? I need this laugh, man. Now i have you to thank
@herryvaliant7689 You have no idea how strong KJK is. He beat Olympics level athletes in strength in many korean shows. His strengths is not even funny
He also know how to fight
@@Manusia.satu1where's the proof?
Why are there so weight classes in combat sports If muscles don't matter ?
ONE....Please make a video on Tawanchai's leg day!
Muscles help against untrained people, but a trained fighter will definitely beat someone who just has muscle and don’t train in striking or grappling .
but trained fighter need muscle, size matters in a fight
@@jmgonzales7701not really
@@vince11harris size matters in a fight. Why do u think there is a weight class. A 140 guy will not beat a healthy guy at 215+
Not gonna lie just by reading the title and knowing a little bit about Muay Thai masters, I would never want to fight one. Steel bones.
everybody should put on muscles as much naturally as they can and they should also learn one type of martial arts atleast for self defence if not for attacking. So combining both, is the best of both worlds.
Bruh! The bodybuilder won the dead hang and both did more than 1 minute. That's really impressive.
The skipping rope challenge wasnt fair for the bodybuilder
Tawanchai & the interviewer be mirin' HAHA
I too, can watch those guns all day
What were you testing by the way?
This clip is pointless, if anything it just meant to bring down the bodybuilder. What about do another version: how much can the Muay Thai fighter lift? How strong is him in terms of lifting anything. Title: do fighting skill matter? Thanks
I am a poor man. Works out only twice a week ( not very heavily). Am not into any competition or sport but, just working out at home .
I DO EAT MEAT or egg everyday but no protien product .... am i eating too less or is it ok ?
cool video I really like both of them a lot
The bodybuilder did great considering the exercises they chose. A lot of relative strength like pushups and deadhangs which favor lighter people, plus cardio which isn't important in bodybuilding, and jump rope, which someone may be fit enough to do but may not have practiced.
If they did deadlift, bench press, etc I bet the bodybuilder would blow him out of the water.
If they fought though, I would give it to Tawanchai. It'd be a little less certain under MMA rules if Tawanchai doesn't have any experience on the ground, but I would still bet on him because muay thai guys have pretty decent takedown defense.
Bodybuilder did push-ups too ya know. Cbum, Ramon, Andrew Jacked, Arnold, Frank Mentzer, etc did a lot of push-ups as part of their workout routine.
Tbh these are so diffenrent trainingstyles, you cant compare them. i mean what if they would have done Benchpress it would have been clear, but that doesnt mean that the fighter isnt a absolute beast, just totaly different training.
wheres the fight?
This competition is pointless. Should do power weight lifting to balance things out between these two. We can see how this competition is skewed.
Nice gym equipment!
Lol, i fast forwarded cause i thought there was gonna be a sparring match, but looked like a waste of time😂😂😂
One is trained to kill another one is training to look good who wins?
ชนะไปแล้วได้อะไร = I'm good at bike races.🗿
no other sports can beat a body builder...in bodybuilding. Same with boxer, sprinter, cyclist, wrestler etc
If you put a guy training for strength and aesthetics and a guy training for combat and get them fight, obviously the guy with the fighting profession wins. Not to mention you had to get the world champion to defeat a normal bodybuilder. And not to mention muscles do matter, if you put 2 experienced fighters in a ring, one guy is a stick and the other has muscles, obviously the muscular fighter wins, muscles have advantages.
idc what any of you guys say tawanchai is a cutie fr
what machine are they using 1:00 I wish my gym had one, also i wish i went to my gym haha
Jesus loves you
If you combine muscle with the right training then it's a great combo
Tawanchai is so friendly, it's almost unbelievable that he's a Muay Thai champion
I get the feeling Tawanchai doesn't want to be doing this lol
Frank the translator is the G.O.A.T 🐐
Body builder trained for strength, weight and aesthetics. The fighter trained for fighting. It would be better if they picked the bodybuilder who is hybrid athlete they would have good competition
You say Muscle doesn't win in a street fight, yes correct if they are untrained.
But if they are both trained, Muscle definitely win instead of skinny one
2:13 Tawanchai is so lovely
Rooting for the Muay Thai fighter.
body bulider vs muay thai fighter in fitness : 😊😊
body bulider vs muay thai fighter in martial : 💀💀
I mean.. tawanchai just gave up on half of these
I believe muscles can help to a point but not against a trained fighter.
He could have won all of it. He humbly gave in the push ups and hang bar, and only excelled in the few he knew it’s his staple workout exercises.
Taiwanchai is a beast. Real deal.
"Do muscle matter" this question should about the fight😊
Muaythai : attack 10 speed 10 durability 8
Bodybuilder : attack 7 speed 5 durability 10
The more muscles you have the more oxygen you need. Sprinters versus marathon runners
I believe the muscle quality matters
Now let’s see them fight
Smh Tawanchai was quitting half way through some of these challenges smh he’s very fit tbh 😂
He has an upcoming fight, he definitely did not want to take risks.
Ok Bug mac
"his muscles are like boulders, I can watch them all day" 👀💅💅 where's my gaydar at
Fighting with Tawanchai is like taking a foam shield to an axe fight lol
love muay thai muay thai always winner no diff
Muscle matters as long as you know how to use it...
Tawanchai is the real " DEADLY SILENT "
DECEMBER 22?
No matter who’s win. But Frank is GOAT 🐐
How can u move if ur meat more than ur bone?
Tawanchai is my fav fighter now
This was unfair for bodybuilder and he almost won. Tasks that focus more on endurance, will be easier for the fighter. Should of added some weightlifting challenges to even this playground
Final round - both of them must be in the ring 😂😂😂
Lol looked like twanchai wasnt trying to go too hard or he was going to be too sorr for tomorrows practice
This is POINTLESS if the fighter is just going to make excuses the WHOLE time!
One championship uploded this video 😂
Should have tested who can bench more
Why ? That has no advantage in fighting especially, or real life in general.
@@DanBCooper I argue it does, you can push sb away f.e. or lift sth out of the way. Whats a real life benefit of being able to hang?
@@DanBCooper
Sorry but that's sounds F retarded.
@@LKV089 the benefit of not being yoked out is being able to fight and have flexibility. There’s a reason there are no body builders in MMA. What needs lifting or moving that a normal adult male who exercises can’t move ? lol
@@DanBCooper why even let them compete against each other then - either its about fitness or about fighting, if its about fitness why not include a strength exercise, if its just about fighting why even have them compete
For the bodybuilder, training every day and feeling tired after 1 minute of jump rope at that speed is a really unhealty and uninspiring look
Have skill and muscle
Basically arms vs. legs
But who wins in a fight..?
The push-ups weren't even push-ups tho. It was all half reps
nice job tawanchai
Amazing fabulous AweSomeS...................
