@@InternetHydra i mean being in a hostile world where literally almost everything wants to kill u if u have a pawn or 2 who cant do anything for 13 years(ingame) it becomes even harder Also it gives us the ability to make stories involving children (like for example : a kid who was force to flee their home kingdom cause his being hunted by his uncles and he has to survive a hostile environment while thinking how to get revenge) remember rimworld isnt a game 1st but its a story simulator 1st and a game 2nd.

I've run into the issue where when my pawn builds the mech they don't use any of the resources and I get any mech for free, they bring the required materials over and just leave them
I don't think people realize just how hard 500% is. I'd love to see what you could pull off with 100 days in just loosing is fun. Could be a good low stress run by comparison. For reference, I think loosing is fun, the hardest preset, only goes to 200 or 300% threat scale. All these 100 days series are done with a difficulty around 2x as hard as the hardest base game setting.
This run was entirely gimped by not investing in Militors for your Singularity Killbox. Having an army of easily repairable, cheap soldiers is kinda necessary since mechs generate so much wealth, especially since they have mini-shotguns equipped, making them ideal for that killbox design.
Man this was an educational, tense and very hilarious video haha. I just started playing recently, still overwhelmed with the learning process. But loving it.

This is really action packed. so much was going on. even the whole base was overun. Silver has some real plot armor she should've died with the rest. but by a miracle and a man in black, she lived long enough to become a vambire.
love everything of this dlc except the firespewing.... Firespew itself isnt that big of an issue but the panic mechanic that follows....man its almost impossible to fight them without having massive burn problems.
Actually 100 iq strat make a toxic waste storage make it like a 10 by 10 room freezer for toxic waste then make a seperate storage room a little far and close to your base now if your storage gets full just caravan and put the waste thier some benefits are less raids and events including good events 2 don't worry about pollution in your own base of place 3 if enemies attack they kill themselves because of the toxic gas and 4 a 4 to 6 radius of your toxic waste storage is just enough time for the detoxifying trees to grow which is effective of course would recommend you having a mule that can go back and forth to both bases good in shooting and melee of course to secure your bag cause I tested some of the different ways to deal with it and the toxic atomizer would take forever this is the best strategy out of all if your a waster and don't care if your valuable animals and plants die then iz ok to keep it but I would recommend if your near enemy bases set your storage near the enemy base so if they attack or if it explodes it'll spread to thier base n kill them once you enter prepared lol it was so funny seeing scramble some had gas mask but I took em out with guns
He is playing on 500% difficulty. One of the side effect is a permanent mood debuf. If I remember right, loosing is fun is only at 200 or 300% difficulty so he's well above the hardest normal difficulty. I tried this same start before biotech came out and my starter pawn broke down before I had my first room built. He was on a mental break for so long he starved to death.

Yeah the best start mech plans are 2 agrihands to help plant a ton alongside cut trees 3 constructors to help make walls fast if you need in the early to mid game 2 lifters for Boulder hauling for the crafter and at least 3 militors to help defend small raid parties but you do need 2 of those antennas to work alongside lots of chargers but if you don't need to worry about pollution iz cool but I would recommend speed running 4 to 5 militors and then calling mega supreme dialogs and clap him I found the best way to fight him is too lead him to an area where thier are near to none yea a few grass but still and of course not going to near diablous because of his fire beat dance attack and his laser but I would recommend against his laser is militors yes iz that easy since diablous is slow you can take his militors out easily and then clap him from behind while your militors distract in front which was very effective against my run but I got beaten because of lack of resources cuz I forgot to make a giant farm and because a cold snap happened when we were gonna harvest a big rice zone
Putting them inside walls protects them from people attacking them from the outside, and putting the barriers inside prevents drop pods from landing inside that little room while giving the heat a place to escape
