Installing dual wheels on a gravely walk behind. This goes for model L/C's, commercials, 500, 5000 and pro series with the 6 bolt rims and hubs will work.

When I had the wheels off I ground a small notch in the lip on the hub adjacent to each of the threaded holes. That way I don't have to remember that the mounting bolts are by the cutouts or feel around the back side for the bolts with nuts.

My dad tried duals on his L8 over the winter but took them off because they stuck out farther than the dog eater.

I have duals on my 60s LI, but I want to get chains for them. I’m pretty sure the tire size is 4.8x4.0.l, AG tread. Where can I find chains and is there any sense in chaining all 4 tires, or just two? Thanks for the information!
