Thanks. I just bought one of these and it needs new bearings and hopefully not much more. I paid $150 for a Gravely 526 with the cultivator. Some young man got it at an auction and tried to get it running but he gave up.
I grew up mowing with a very old Model L that I had to rope start. I wouldn’t be surprised if my right arm was a few inches longer from pulling against that beast. I never saw anything that came close to the rugged dependability of a Gravely 2 wheel tractor. I’m not at all surprised when I see over 60 year old Gravely stuff still going.

I hope this is never took down, someone a hundred years from now will need to know those are left hand threads.
