      @@andreariva5742 I really want to cover Ray Tracing, I'm just waiting for the CPU upgrade as it's bringing us into CPU limit territory on the majority of games. I'd like to compare the CPU in this test to the new CPU in RT so I can better explain cpu limits in relation to resolution upscaling and additional usage caused by RT.

      @@TheAnatomica Coil Whine is something that effects practically all high powered electronics. It's unfortunately very sample specific and most importantly work load specific. Personally, I've had zero coil whine issues with my Nitro+ 7900XTX. I can make it whine at super high frame rates in certain games menus. but general use I've not noticed anything really. Sapphire put a lot of effort in trying their best to minimize it by making sure they use high end components and keeping power clean.

    I'd definitely wait for the 7800X3D to come out if you're upgrading the system cause of the CPU.
    I'm currently on the 5600X and 6900 XT, but I am hoping to upgrade to the 5800X3D at some point as the last upgrade for this system before upgrading the entire system maybe when the next generation of GPUs are out (after 7000/4000).

    Nice content...
    Be interesting to see how much of an increase in FPS you see on a new CPU, I'm seeing around 10-20FPS more on my ryzen 9 5950x with this card, I do think the sweet spot is 1440p ultra wide and regularly 1440p, easily get 144fps all day on most games, even red dead redemption 2.
    Probably wait out for the next AMD CPU line before making an upgrade move though 😬

    RGB on Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX turning red...Please notify the nitro+ team. When I boot up my PC the RGB is fine, I use the rainbow setting in the Sapphire TriXX software which is the default. However, after a random amount of time e.g 3hrs, 6hrs, 24 hrs, the RGB will turn red and flicker every 15 seconds or so. I can then change it to any other RGB setting but none of them look as nice as the rainbow wave in my opinion. A lot of people are also facing the same issue.

    Hello,
    Is my 850w PSU power enough for my build?
    Cpu: 13700kf
    Liquid cooler: Kraken 240rgb
    Motherboard: Rog strix Z790-H
    Ram: G.Skill 2x16 6400Mhz CL36 DDR5
    SSD: Sn850x 1TB
    Case: NZXT H5 Flow RGB
    GPU: 7900XTX Sapphire Nitro+ (420TDP, gaming usage 440W)
    PSU: Tuf gaming 850G.
    Just finishing my build and in the end after i bought PSU 850W (which perfectly fits and enough for RTX 4070ti) i have decided to change GPU to XTX 7900 24GB which uses more power. Now i am not sure if my PSU enough?
    Please help me with this. Playing only 4k games, no overlocking or other stuff...
    Ps. There were another options which use less Watt like XTX 7900 XFX Merc 310 (doesnt fit in my case with its Z support bar too long) and PowerColor Red devil (too risky to get variant with its annoying coil whine), so i had to take better oneNitro+, but with more TDP.
    Now i am in hard situation, i already bought 850w, and to be honest its hard to sell it, even if i havent used it yet. Otherwise i need to buy second PSU, and wait for miracle till someone decides to buy from me, not from PC shops. I need to sell it 50% off, coz unboxed and thats sad. Will it be enough and safe if i run build with 850?
    Someone recommended me to undervolt, but i dont even know how to do it. And a bit afraid.

    Dont think the 1% lows have to do anything with the CPU as a 4080 has almost 10-20% highter 1% lows with the same CPU.
    Been on the fence about buying a 7900 XTX or a RTX 4080 but those 1% lows, which cause stutter, really pushing me towards a 4080. Especially now they are almost the same price (1150 for the vapor-x 7900 XTX and 1199 for a RTX 4080)

  • @UTFapollomarine7409
    @UTFapollomarine7409 Рік тому

    its like a 3900x has 12 cores, a 5800x has 8, yea the 5800x may get more frames at the cost of being fully used at 100% which may cause stutters, vs a 3900x may have plenty of headroom at the cost of less frames in game, i rather get a 10 core chip or better in 2023.

      Coil whine in particular is very complicated. Personally, I've had a great experience with the Nitro+ 7900 XTX. Graphics Cards (and many powerful electronics) can be susceptible to varying levels of coil whine, but this is generally task specific and most importantly sample specific. ~Pixel

    • @oleg7044
      @oleg7044 Рік тому

      I can say my has it in "some games" but not in a kind that you would get headache from it. It is more like kind of airflow/some kind of fan noise (hard to explain). The one thing to reduce it is to limit the fps to the amount your display can handle. For me 120. In some games (menu) somehow that want apply and you will get extreme high fps (at moment it will be very loud). X4 for example is one, that have that "hard to explain" noise (not loud). I would say with headset absolut nothing and without "somehow".
      With the previous rtx 3090 i had too big problems with coil whine (even with 60 fps you had them on a lvl i got headache from them). So bought a 3080 ti from gainward, because that was the only one, that had coil whine on a lvl like my sapphire nitro+ now.
