New video for the Phantom Liberty expansion : ua-cam.com/video/6K0nMGv4ttQ/v-deo.html
The effort you put into these videos is very appreciated! These videos are great. Keep up the amazing work
Really appreciate the hard work and the long hours that this took. Thank you so much. BTW, really love how you separated everything into groups. Works well that way and all Benchmark videos from everyone should be like that going forward. You have revolutionized the genre.
It would be a great idea to set up a patreon so that people donate for you to buy more games and test them
"Shut up and take my money!"
Agree. I'd pay for him to test more games. We need more guides like these
Can you not just buy the games yourself and test them yourself 😂
@Mark Fox because these videos help you get a better understanding of what each setting does, differences in graphics, and how it impacts performance, all in a video format. And it's quicker to watch a 10 minute video than testing every single setting yourself. Not everyone has the time for that. I'll happily pay him a little bit of money to test more games and at the same time support the creator for what he does. This isn't easy work
@@MarkFox-nt7ls Its a win win no? We support a youtuber he like and he posts more videos
The fact you can give examples between different hardware-bound scenarios is extremely useful for someone like me. And also gives me confidence in your testing methodology that you can say and show that.
Fantastic video. Not too dumbed down, not too complicated. Fast and to the point. Great analysis. Love it
Love the video!
This was a perfect way of explaining settings (considering there are so many different variables of hardware). When people know which are the big performance hitters, people can adjust accordingly. Please keep it up. (Subscribed)
Just a small heads-up, settings that increase the resolution of shadows or textures, might not seem to have an impact on performance at first, but these settings will increase the amount of VRAM used, so if you're running low on VRAM (On a GPU with 4GB or 6GB for instance), you'll get more stutters while playing if you're capping the VRAM usage.
RT Shadows will also add Variable Penumbra to directional shadows. This means that the shadow of an object that is far away from the point where the shadow is being casted into will look soft, while objects that are near the point where the shadow is being casted will look sharp. This makes a big difference in most areas in the game, specially around skyscrapers. There's a similar rasterization technique for that called PCSS (Percentage-Closer Soft Shadows) which doesn't requires Ray-tracing, but sadly CDPR never implemented this.
Yeah, and I believe AMD has PCHS but I’m not sure if that’s better / worse. The last game I remember seeing both in was GTA V. Great port IMO, and I think holds up for being a port compared to a native PC/Console development.
Very helpful, although I've usually found I've been able to turn textures up as high as I want in basically any game with only 6 GB of vram. I wonder if maybe they just load fast enough that I don't notice at 60 fps.
@@juliansjeandawsonarchivePCHS is available on both AMD and Nvidia, its game specific
This guide is pure gold! Once again you've outdone yourself
Hands down one of the best comparison and optimization videos on Cyberpunk - well done sir. Much appreciated
Thank you! Exactly what I needed. Keep up the same format. Comparison is huge and in one screen is perfect. Great job!
Thanks for this amazing optimization guide. I love all of your contents and the efforts you put into them. Thanks a lot.
Highly underrated mate. Hope the algorithm blesses you soon.
Appreciate the hard work. It was a great video
Thanks for the effort you've put into all this, you're a living legend! ^^
Yes, man! Please continue to do such videos! I recently bought 3060ti and your guides (for Hogwarts for example) helped me to play games at full potential of my gpu. You got my thanks, subscription and like!)
love these guides enjoy sharing these with my friends when they are having issues on random games! thanks for all you do brother
Reallly high quality content, seriously goodjob
Your optimization guide is top notch!!! The effort you put into these video is very much appreciated!!!
In this game, I updated DLSS from 2.4.3 to 2.5.1, use the NVIDIA Image Scaling sharpness filter and downloaded a texture mod from Hulk Hogan, now thanks to your settings I have raised the DLSS (4K) level from performance to balance and the picture has become even cleaner, without significant loss of quality! Thank you for what you are doing!
What GPU are you using to play this in 4k? I waited to play this game cause I want to play it in 4k RT. Which is one reason why I waited to play this game, plus bug fixes from launch.
@@Xilent1 I have a laptop based on the 3080, it is similar in performance to the dextopic 3070, but with 16GB of video memory. There can be no question of any RT. All I can hope for is a smooth 60 FPS with these optimized settings + DLSS on balance, without RT. I have seen tests where even 4090 on ULTRA+RT PSYCHO without using DLSS gives ~45 FPS. I recommend waiting for Overdrive Mode for Cyberpunk 2077, buy 4090 (if the budget allows), use these optimized settings + DLSS.
@@Xilent1 For RT 4K you can only play with a nvidia card. And you gonna need a lot of VRAM (at least 16 GB imo). There is only the 4080 or 4090 to consider as of today (3090 and 3090 ti need to lower settings and RT too much). You gonna have to play with DLSS even with a 4090, DLSS + Frame Generation with a 4080, buy a 144hz 4K Monitor and optimize a bit.
Can anyone playing in 1440p on DLSS quality tell if going to 2.5.1 makes any difference ? OR is it gonna get better performance ? Thank you in advance
@@superslavbross9935 plays fine on my end using 3440x1440p have a video of it on my channel with dlss 2.5.1
short and quick summary of all the settings. subscribed!
my man put the optimized settings all a the end in one picture.. Nice! 🤠 Subscribed!
Excellent video mate. I'll use these settings for the DLC later this year.
Big fan of the channel, keep up the good work, you will definitely grow really fast.
You rock. Amazing work that helps the PC Gamer community a lot.
Ridiculously helpful. Thanks for this. Truly excellent work.
The exact break down I hoped to find ! Thank you
Gods, thank you for this. It made it so easy to see what you want to change, thanks to your side by side visual comparisons.

You never disappoint man!
Thanks man, this helped me get up and running for Update 2.0. Cheers!
Thank you for an amazing and detailed analysis !!!
This video is fantastic. Seen lots of these, none so well thought out.
Awesome guide, thank you for making it. I had to turn down my textures to low with ray tracing on in order to fit under the 8 gigabyte memory on my video card.
Great video bro
Hey! Thank you for this material :) found it very helpful, keep going man
Really love these type of videos. They are very useful.
So detailed, great video dude.
Killer video, thanks for all your work.
Great video, thanks for all your hard work.
I just purchased cbp today and this helped so much. Thank you
was waiting for this nice video
Perfect, thanks bro
Thank you for this video! I really needed this just starting up Cyberpunk again and wonder how to get the best visuals :)
Finally a comprehensive and detailed optimization guide. Thank you my friend!
A well done comparaison, thanks !
Amazing work keep up bro
Just bought this recently, thank you so much!
Awesome! This is what the developers should disclose to the players. Thank you. Just one thing, you say sometimes 4% drop in frames when it should be 4 frames dropped. Like at 5:40, it's 4 frames difference, so the math is 4/64, which is 6.25% drop frame percentage.
Yes that was a mistake it's 6% not 4% , Thanks for pointing that out.
@@benchmarking4386 but thank you so much for the video and the work u put into this! i subbed for more
