YES! Every day on my way to work, my fav thing to do was pop by timbits and get myself some nice cream and broccoli soup, which came with crackers on the side, and a breakfast wrap. A really filling breakfast- perfect way to start the day!
As a Canadian who also works at Tim Horton's, you HAVE to come try it in Canada. I honestly haven't heard of most of the things you guys ordered, and you need the original Canuck vibes!! Also, you should've tried an Iced Capp and an Old Fashion Plain donut, my personal faves!
Sounds like a waste of money to go to Canada and get the exact same experience. It was pretty decent when I first moved to Vancouver in 2009 but it's been bottom of the barrel stuff for close to 10 years at this point.
The more things these guys try from across the pond, the more I see that what they get really isn't very representative of reality. I'm wondering if the marketing folks are at play and have decision authority on what goes over the same and what doesn't.

As a native Hamiltonian (Birthplace of Tim Hortons) what you tasted possibly was a fraction of what Tim Horton's food used to be. Years ago it was exceptional now it becomes closer and closer to other fast food chains. The benefit of Tim Horton's in Canada is that as others have said they are everywhere especially here in Hamilton, You either have worked at a Tim Horton's or know someone who has if not you would be suspect of being a foreigner for most of the city you can walk a few blocks and you will find a Tim Hortons. We don't have a cheeseburger on our menu so that was a shock the fries were newly added I know recently most of Tim's renown comes from their donuts and caffeinated beverages breakfast menu items have been a welcome addition but Tim Hortons roots are in those items.
Ollie’s complete and total willingness to support Josh’s lack of control when it comes to food really came out this episode 😂 I think he got into it with all the Timbits

@@daisy9910that doesn’t actually happen I don’t think, I’ve left one sitting in the bag for several hours and came back to the icing still getting stuck to the inside of the bag
Tim Hortons is popular in Canada because in many small rural towns, it’s one of the only places opened late where half the town can go to hang out. I find it to be very heartwarming. Also the coffee is mild so people get a large cup to sip on for a long time, and pump it full of sugar and milk 🤣
Having worked at a few can confirm, It's where people go to sit and talk with people be it in the restraunt, in their cars or even in folding lawn chairs in or just off to the side of the parking lot. Would debate milk though, think the most popular generally is triple triple which is a good amount of cream and sugar. Old people in the afternoon, middle age after work and teenagers - early twenties from 9pm on.
That sounds nice, I wish I could just go to a cafe and hangout with people in the evening. There’s one cafe in my town that’s open late but it’s quite small compared to the size of my town. You won’t get half of a town of 25,000 in there. You’ll get like 30 people. It’s mostly just middle aged mums who go there to meet up in the evening. People don’t really hangout in the evening here, everything is shut.
As a Canadian Jolly beans we need to start a riot and have Jolly come to Canada to do a food tour!! 💯 There are so many unique options just to Canada, like poutine, nanaimo bars, beaver tails, east coast donars, the options are endless!! 😄
Canada is on my list of places to visit! Scottish person here, and finding good maple syrup here is not easy. Can only find maple-flavoured syrup😢 Also, I've never tried poutine, and it looks so flipping good.
7:52 josh you’ve just unlocked a core memory for every canadian kid. timbits on a road trip or on the way to a sports game when you were young or whenever. it was always exciting to pull into the time drive thru and grab a box
You definitely need to go to a real Tim Hortons in Canada. The menu is shockingly different! You need to get iced Capps if you go, one just normal and one made with chocolate milk, will literally change you they’re so good! And a sausage farmers wrap, these are my go to’s when I go 😁
One of my claims to fame is that I watched Daniel Radcliffe have his first Iced Capp. He was shooting a film in front of my house when the runner came by with some. He seemed unsure at first but then said he liked it!
They definitely have got to try the Tim's in Canada. I've never seen half those menu items here before 😆 And they definitely need to do a cross-Canada food tour series! Each part of Canada has their own unique kinds of food to try! It's a big country, but there are so many unique differences that can't be captured only in the big cities👌🏻😔
It's no different than when I see Brits eat food from American fast food like McDonald's and Taco Bell in the UK. I'm immediately saying, "We don't have those options here"! 🤣🤣🤣
What food does Canada have? Nanaimo bars and Poutine..lol. Apart from Quebec and it’s French culinary roots or First Nation food Canada has nothing, save the occasional hyper specific regional delicacy like Saskatoon Berry pie or whatever. Major cities in Canada like montreal or Toronto are known their culinary experiences but these are always ethnic restaurants serving the food of their culture. So unless you count Indian food or Chinese food made by Indians/Chinese people in Canada as “Canadian food” then tuff luck.
My fav food item on Timmy's menu is the Bacon Grilled Cheese Melt, and it looks NOTHING like what they ate on the video. It just looks anemic in this video when it's actually crispy, brownish and delicious here!
As a Canadian, I probably wouldn’t have gotten any of those, except for the breakfast sandwich. Tim’s is known for their donuts and coffee mainly, food is secondary. Iced Capps and Honey Cruellers are essential whenever I go. The flavours of Timbits that you guys got too are irregular to those in Canada…but they’re good no matter what, I’m glad you enjoyed them :)
As a Canadian, as mentioned in another comment, we don’t have burgers here 😂. The Timmy’s I go to, always has crispy hash browns. You 2 are great, if you come to Canada, try our actual menu. ❤
in my 24 years of living in Canada this is the first time I'm ever hearing about or seeing the Tim's Cheeseburger. Out of the hundreds I've visited none of them served that. Maybe it's coast-locked.
UK Tim's have a completely different menu! It's fast food in terms of the meals. While many of the breakfast items look the same, one bite will have you questioning reality because they taste completely different. Same for the donuts. It's like some weird alternate dimension.
@@terrir8662Tom Hortons actually used to be really good and was a staple favourite for a long time. Then Tims was bought by an American company and the coffee changed☺️
As a canadian, you guys really need to come here and try tims because the classic things to try is the iced capp, and a farmer’s breakfast wrap 🤌 also cant forget the everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese
I think that big breakfast wrap is what they call the farmer's wrap over there. The wedges are terrible. They should just give up with the potato products at Timmys.
I'm north of 50 years old. I remember when Tim's was just donuts and coffee and tea. They now have a larger selection of sandwiches and soups and bagels. Some of the classics would be Apple fritter donuts and it's discontinued here but a dutchie donut could appeal to the British palate. The butter tarts is another old school favourite. Coffee should be ordered double, double, 2 cream, 2 sugar.
Apple fritters were soo good! They should bring them back and slow down with all the "dream donuts" (that have so much candy/chocolate on them and are more expensive).
As a Canadian, this was very entertaining to watch and as with every other Canadian on here I was surprised at the double cheeseburger. 😂 Calgary Stampede just happened here (once a year) and one day you should come to do a Stampede food edition.
I was thinking the same thing Burgers damn guys gotta try it incanada the coffee is actually different everywhere I tried it elsewhere outside of Canada 🇨🇦 way different menu to
I’m Canadian, born & raised, and I worked at Tim’s for a short time many years ago. I’d say the most popular/iconic items are the coffee, TimBits, donuts, and ‘iced caps’ (iced cappuccinos- a must-have if you ever go again!). Personally, I also love their steeped tea, but I assume as Brits you constantly drink tea and are therefore particular about it (?) in which case it probably wouldn’t be up to your standards 😋 In my opinion, Tim’s is best when they stick to breakfast foods- coffees, pastries, etc. They’ve tried to expand into lunch and dinner in recent years, but I don’t think it’s been that successful. Their lunch items are just sub-par, in my opinion… and it’s ironic that you loved the regular bread sandwich and the cheeseburger best, because I’ve never seen either of those in my life 😂 they definitely don’t sell the burger in Canada!!
When I worked at Tim's, the impossible burger was still on the menu. Everyone who worked there thought that it was gross. Tim Hortons should stick with breakfast food 😣. Burgers and Tim Hortons do not mesh well in my opinion.
Ice Capps(cappuccinos), double doubles and Timbits are a must. I was crushed that you didn’t get the iconic ice capp, personally I love it topped with espresso foam.
Double-Doubles suck though. Why is doubled regular considered the defacto normal if people don't know your order? Then you're politely drinking sickeningly sweet coffee. 😢
2:09 Timmie's is beloved because there's always a location where it matters the most: hospitals, airports, tourist spots, DMVs, shopping plazas etc. You pop in, ask for a "double double" (maybe a donut) and you're out the door.
"when it matgters most" tim hortons entire product line is non essential. If tim hortons was to cease to exist right now it would have zero effect on humanity. Tim horton is for the idiot who can not figure out how to make and transport coffee and needs a dose of diabetes causing baked good.
FYI a double double is a coffee with 2x amounts of cream and sugar. It’s like drinking sweet silk. You also balloon up like mad so I drink it with milk only!
As a Canadian I hadn't heard of the burger and there are alot more things to try at tim Hortons. Also alot of people are now going to McDonald's for the coffee because they bought Tim Hortons original recipe when Tim Hortons changed thiers
Fun fact: at first Tim Hortons used to sell burger but eventually changed their menu for coffee and doughnuts (I believe it was to get a different clientele such as hockey players and their parents as Tim Hortons was a NHL’s player

The story about Tim Horton's coffee is NOt the recipe it's the beans.....T.H.'s purchaser was haggling bean prices with their supplier and the supplier decided NOt to sell the beans to Tim Horton's anymore. McDonald swooped in and took over the contract and now they have the beans that was once Tim Horton's

True story: we celebrated our 30th anniversary at Tim Hortons because they had knocked down our wedding reception restaurant and replaced it. Every guest got the cash card to order all the bits and bobs they wanted. The staff was so confused when we recreated our bouquet photo 😂. Best anniversary ever. Also, “toquebits” -brilliant!
McDonalds actually uses Tim’s old supplier for coffee. Tim’s coffee isn’t as popular anymore. They also used to do tons of fresh baked-in-store stuff, but that was years ago. Now it all comes in frozen. Plus you should have tried more sandwiches, like the BLT. I know that’s pretty common in Britain already, but for whatever reason my cousin was obsessed when he came to visit
FINALLY!!! A normal Josh and Ollie Jolly video!! I have been waiting!!! I want some old school studio ones filmed again... where Ollie is allowed to use his creative genius (and the credit card lol) to do ridiculous things for our amusement!!! Pleassssse! ❤
As a proud Canadian abroad, I can truly say that Timmies in Canada is FAR better than any outside of it. Josh and Ollie, you have got to do a food tour in Canada!!! >
As a Canadian I can tell you that McDonalds coffee is much better than Tim Hortons. and Dunkin Donuts coffee is far much better than both...even though I haven't crossed the border or traveled to the states to have Dunkin Donuts in a very long time to . I have no clue why people think the burnt Hortons coffee is the best. Maybe at one point in the 80's and 90's when it little competition other stores. But even then they had places like Second Cup.
So, as a Canadian here are my recommendations: Everything bagel with cream cheese is a must Apple fritter Strawberry jam filled or raspberry jam filled donut (whichever one they have or both if they have both) Crueler (that's my fiance's favourite) The muffins are great you can never go wrong with those and some of them are even filled with jam Iced Capp (basically a coffee slushie and the best way to have a coffee, especially during the hot summer) Cake donuts, chocolate specifically. Enjoy!
This menu is quite different than what is actually in Canada. The names of items are different too! And the timbits box is an iconic institution for Canadians, especially Canadian children. I could spot one several hundred meters away and distinctly recall the agony of waiting for some adult to offer me an opportunity to dig into it before all the 'good ones' are gone.
How olies' eyes opened wide when he saw the Boston creme was perfect. If they have the french wheel donut, try it as its quite light compared to a filled donut and a good balance of texture and sweetness. My overall favorite😅
As a Canadian, I'm so surprised you didn't order the coffee as a double double! As for food, if you go to Canada, I recommend you get at least one of your breakfast sandwiches on a biscuit (or scone, essentially).
As a Canadian I’m screaming!!!! Although I’ve never had a cheeseburger from Tim’s before 😮 Come visit and try ours! The menu is slightly different Although Tim’s coffee is so hit or miss. Sometimes it’s good or it’s burned lol.
You know how sometimes you enjoy trying new food, but sometimes you just want an old favorite? While I have enjoyed the recent series, this is what I was craving. Josh and Ollie, in front of a camera, just being them. That is my comfort food.
Canadian whose lived in the UK here! Timmies in the UK has a lot of things that don't even exist in Canada (like the waffle fries and Cheeseburger). The qualitys really went down but they used to have great soup and chilli ripp. A double double is the standard Canadian coffee order but Tims is also really big for their Ice Capps so make sure to get one next time!
"Tim's Bits" IM DEADDD I'm glad you guys enjoyed the Timbits! Honestly they're such a great snack to pick up if you can't commit to a single donut flavour.
As a Canadian, you need to try the potato wedges, aND THE APPLE FRITTER DOUGHNUT!! It's so good- also come to Canada and try it from a real Tims because it seems like there's some things missing from the menu. Hashbrowns are also my childhood and they taste sooooo good, they're crispy and delicious here
One of the things I like at Tims is the French Vanilla they have... it is REALLY rich and can be compared to a hot chocolate but french vanilla instead.
I love that Josh and Ollie can still crack each other up (Josh, almost to the point of choking) while sampling food. They've been doing this for quite some time but it doesn't get old....still amusing. "... I'm consistently amazed by how bad people's taste..." Hahaha, thanks guys.
Canadian here (specifically from Ottawa). Tim’s or Timmie’s as we call it is synonymous with road trips, hockey tournaments and cottage weekends. To my knowledge, Tim’s has never previously had a burger option. They’ve tried to do different things but their bread and butter is coffee/iced Capp, Timbits, bagels and donuts. You guys should definitely come to Canada. Tons of food chains, different landscapes and experiences to be had that are different than the States (what we call the USA).
As a Canadian I only buy coffee from Tims, Lrg with one cream. Tims has reached the point of saturation hear. You can head in any direction and stumble across a Tim's in about 1-2km.
Canadian here, glad to see some content about home! Don't understand why there is a burger on the menu over there, thought they would try to make it be a bit more like the menu over here and then change things as they discover the U.K palete. The hashbrown you had does not look anywhere near what is made over in Canada. Never seen a Big Breakfast wrap and I can tell it doesn't beat the Famer's Wrap. Timbits are a national treasure! If you ever go back try the Sour Cream Glaze doughnut if it is on the menu. This video has given me the spark to catch up on the last 2-3 years of content across the two channels after taking care of the parents and life caught up with us all. Thank you for what you all do and please continue bringing joy to everyone's lives you are a part of! OH man i got SO HYPED for a Canadian food tour, i swear you two need to come over to Canada to experience all the French and British fusion foods i grew up with in Quebec, + the seafood from the maritimes and all the incredible variety from the western provinces. Edit: Ive never seen a double cheeseburger at my Tim Hortons XD, my go to is the turkey blt club, it effin slaaaps. Edit2: 10:59 Go to Canada AGAIN? When did you two go for the first time? I dont remember seeing a video on it (if anyone can point me to it id love to watch it!)
As a canadian i absolutely love the hashbrowns, timbits and the donuts. I don’t know if the hashbrowns being bad was based off of the location, but here in canada i love them. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
There's a smaller local chain called St Hubert, it's a homestyle chicken rotisserie restaurant that has a humble but celebrating following :) as a mid eastern Canadian I really recommend that one.
Tims in Canada is completely different. Save for staple items like timbits and classic donuts! No burgers (unless that's a specialty in a particular province), even the wraps are different. In Canada the wraps are a lot jazzier, there's also soups that have become staples over the years. I would recommend trying the Ice Capp and fruit explosion muffin! Those have been a long time items on the menu. Definitely make a comparison video if you ever visit Canada!
Omg!!! I’m legit so happy that you guys returned back to making Canada food testing (although this tim hortons is in london)!! Next , try a real quebec style poutine(when you find the time to come to Canada ofc)! Love your guys content , stay safe ❤
I'm consistently amazed by how bad Ollie's taste buds are too. But Josh is always on point and seems to have more normal/accepting taste buds like the rest of us do...
Well they had a video where they did a genetic test and it turns out Ollie has a very sensitive palate which is why he tends to prefer things that are more plain.
The thing you said about Canadian children going for a box of Timbits...yup. My parents used to buy them for me as a kid and now they buy them for the grandkids. And school teachrs often buy them for an easy class treat for special occasions. Canadian childhood essential! Also not unusual for larger boxes of them to be brought to parties and large gatherings.
As much as I like watching these two, Ollie seems to downgrade items before he even tries a bite. It might make it harder to form an unbiased opinion. But still love watching!
Tim Horton's is an institution here in Canada...we take our coffee and donuts seriously!! As a Canadian I am happy to see a Tim's in UK, enjoy our deliciousness.
I live an hour from the BC border yet we have ZERO Tim Horton's in WA!!!! Now that my permanent resident card has been renewed I'm road tripping up just to get some!
Ice-cappuccino is a Canadian favourite. Honestly, I haven't been back home in a while to see if Tim Horton's changed anything. But fun fact: The locals call Tim Horton's "Timmy's", for short.
As a Canadian, I recommend trying the bagel B.E.L.T and the iced capp when you’re in Canada 🇨🇦 Also, Ollie, potatoes are pretty much the ONLY thing we can grow here 😂
One of my favorite fast food places in Canada is Arby's. The classic roast beef sandwich with cheese sauce on the side, adding as much cheese sauce, horseradish sauce and Arby's sauce as you want in the sandwich, is just amazing. Their curly fries are the best fast food fries I've ever had. They also do really good Reuben sandwiches.
I think a lot of people in the comments missed the first part when they mentioned that they are not in Canada and their teleporting a Tim Horton's to the UK joke
So bizarre that they added random menu items we don't even have in Canada like waffle fries and burgers. You guys will have to come to Canada and try out beavertails next (the pastry, not the animal) if you haven't already. They are delicious.
You know the chilli and soups are good. Plus I always had the turkey blt for lunch. Even toasted bagels with herb and garlic cream cheese I always had for breakfast
As a Canadian I have yet to have a good timmies coffee but they do have good doughnuts. The burger however was very unexpected but the fact it is loaded with pickles makes me want to get a timmies burger, like all of the other food chains (even when asking for extra extra extra) they only put on 3 pickles and it’s sad.
I would expect that burger is simply a Burger King double cheese burger served at Tim Hortons as they're part of the same company. As a former fast food burger topper, the worker might've just grabbed an extra pickle or two on the pinch from the tub and couldn't be bothered to reduce the quantity. Managers looked at average service times, not precision, so extra anything without a request is probably just going for speed.
Canadian Timmies switched coffee bean suppliers in the early 2010s. McDonalds in Canada saw this and immediately jumped on their old suppliers, then tried to saturate the market for McCafe. So McCafe in Canada is old Tim Hortons, made modern.
Just another Canadian Jollybean coming out of the woodwork to tell you guys to try Canadian Timmies! I've never heard of the double cheeseburger but we have several classic soups and sandwiches, including the turkey bacon club. My favourite thing to get for lunch has always been the chili, which I can never find anymore... But in terms of donuts, all the glazed ones (including both the old fashioned and sour cream glazed) have always been my favourites.
Tims is a coffee and doughnut place that has expanded into other food items. You will never lose with Tim Bits and I really love their iced cappuccino (Ice Cap). I need to check your past episodes to see where the Jolly team have been in Canada. But if you haven't as yet you have to do Beaver tails in Ottawa, loaded poutine in Montreal, Mary Browns for fast food chicken, St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, The Stampede in Calgary, Marché restaurant in Toronto, Asian food in Vancouver, Pow Wow Cafe Kensington Market for indigenous food, seafood in PEI, Medival Times, and the KEG
@@NotMac Yes, but does that in itself make it a Canadian company? The foundation of that brand is their root beer which is American. I think we have memories eating at these establishments but they aren't Canuck.
This is it exactly and its open in very convenient locations. I'd rather just walk 5 mins to my local timmies than travel 30 mins to a much better coffee shop.
Fun Fact: In Quebec, the breakfast sandwich is called a Tim Matin (roughly translates to Tim Morning). Shame they don't really have a english version of the name. It is just breakfast sandwich. Also as others have said honey crueler (rousette au miel) and IceCaps are a must try. :3
Huge fan of the Bacon Farmers wraps. Honey Crueller & Boston Creme were by far the most popular donuts. The hash browns were fresh out of the oven which is why they were still soft.

thesearedaydreams6854 I always go for caramel but Oreo is also really good
I feel like they start to taste a bit weird towards the end. Is it just me? Also, paper straws don’t do well with ice caps - they get so soggy 😩
@@TofuTeo ik this is an old comment, but i suggest sipping the iced capp from the top down! i find that the taste stays more consistent that way hehe
I love how Josh is trying to be the mediator with “everyone’s tastes are different,” and Ollie is just unapologetically like “No. I don’t like it. Everyone is wrong.” 😂
Canadian here - you need to try an Iced Cap. It's an absolute treat in warm weather. and try the chili!!!
the fact that the chocolate on the boston cream didn't stick in the bag is a miracle 😆
That's a good sign it's stale, and the donut has sucked the moisture out of the icing.
isn't boston cream a sort of particular custard filling in the cake original PLus a chocolate icing (as opposed to the heavier frosting)
Haha! 💯 expecting an unceremoniously denuded Boston cream reveal there 😂
maybe it was real chocolate and not just brown sugar icing.
Also the coffee is mild so people get a large cup to sip on for a long time, and pump it full of sugar and milk 🤣
odd. when i go to them it's all old or middle-aged people. never people my age.
Double cream, double sugar, known as the “Double Double.” There is even a special edition Double Double Coffee Crispy candy bar.
When I was a kid, I lived in a town so small, there were only three Tim Hortons locations.
I agree with you
And not to forget maple syrup on snow! Just seeing Ollie's face would make my day
YESSS
Canada is on my list of places to visit! Scottish person here, and finding good maple syrup here is not easy. Can only find maple-flavoured syrup😢 Also, I've never tried poutine, and it looks so flipping good.
Don't forget Montreal smoked meat!
And a sausage farmers wrap, these are my go to’s when I go 😁
Ice capp with chocolate milk is my go-to 🥰
One of my claims to fame is that I watched Daniel Radcliffe have his first Iced Capp. He was shooting a film in front of my house when the runner came by with some. He seemed unsure at first but then said he liked it!
they need to get a extra large double double
No they don't. Tim's in Canada seems to be not even as good as the one they went to in the U.K.
@jimchabai3163 have you even been to a true Canadian Tim’s? Are you even Canadian?
@@JohnDoe3-1-4 true most food i've tasted is generic as hell. half of it is probably copied from the Americans.
My fav food item on Timmy's menu is the Bacon Grilled Cheese Melt, and it looks NOTHING like what they ate on the video. It just looks anemic in this video when it's actually crispy, brownish and delicious here!
Literally everything they ordered is in Canada aside from the cheeseburger
As a Canadian, I probably wouldn’t have gotten any of those, except for the breakfast sandwich. Tim’s is known for their donuts and coffee mainly, food is secondary. Iced Capps and Honey Cruellers are essential whenever I go. The flavours of Timbits that you guys got too are irregular to those in Canada…but they’re good no matter what, I’m glad you enjoyed them :)
Definately Cruellers are > Doughnuts.
Ever since Burger King bought Timmies, Mother Parker supplies McDonald's with the not-Tim Hortons blend.
As a Canadian, as mentioned in another comment, we don’t have burgers here 😂. The Timmy’s I go to, always has crispy hash browns. You 2 are great, if you come to Canada, try our actual menu. ❤
As a Canadian, I was happy to see Ollie suggest popping the timbits in your mouth all-in-one; you simply don’t bite into them 😂
Right. I can't believe they share anything really.
Timbits Must Only Be Eaten The Canadian Way. Pop Don't Bite
The same way we do with donut holes.
They have Tim’s In Texas
@@renecrump7850 in Ohio and KY as well.
in my 24 years of living in Canada this is the first time I'm ever hearing about or seeing the Tim's Cheeseburger.
Same!
in my 31 years of living in Canada, I have yet to hear anyone say Tim Hortons was their favourite coffee lol
@@terrir8662Tom Hortons actually used to be really good and was a staple favourite for a long time. Then Tims was bought by an American company and the coffee changed☺️
Same!
As a canadian, you guys really need to come here and try tims because the classic things to try is the iced capp, and a farmer’s breakfast wrap 🤌 also cant forget the everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese
*drooling* I just finished eating lunch and now you make me want to drive the 5 mins to get to a Tim's 😂
tbh the wraps and potato wedges have only been out for like 5 years. they are not really classic to people born and raised here.
I’m Canadian to 🇨🇦🍁
I think that big breakfast wrap is what they call the farmer's wrap over there.
The wedges are terrible. They should just give up with the potato products at Timmys.
Most items at Tims are overpriced, very mediocre fast food, but if you are impressed with a bagel and creamcheese, I guess it's a good option.
The donuts were deep fried in house aswell..know just frozen and thawed...😥
Apple fritters were soo good! They should bring them back and slow down with all the "dream donuts" (that have so much candy/chocolate on them and are more expensive).
Thankfully they brought the Dutchie back at least for now with the retro donuts. If only it would be a permanent edition
Ollie: I’m consistently amazed at how bad people’s tastes are
Also Ollie: likes the most blandest things 🤣🤣🤣
THATS WHAT IM SAYING
Ollie is truly british
As a Canadian, this was very entertaining to watch and as with every other Canadian on here I was surprised at the double cheeseburger. 😂 Calgary Stampede just happened here (once a year) and one day you should come to do a Stampede food edition.
I second this! Y'all need to come to Calgary Stampede, try the wildest foods, and watch "the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth".
Hope you had a great time in Calgary.
I was thinking the same thing Burgers damn guys gotta try it incanada the coffee is actually different everywhere I tried it elsewhere outside of Canada 🇨🇦 way different menu to
YES GUYS, COME TO OUR CALGARY STAMPEDE.
I second this as well Calgary Stampede is prime food time, plus the rodeo 😏
If i was Josh i would be in constant danger of choking to death with Ollie around. How is that guy so god damn funny?
I’m Canadian, born & raised, and I worked at Tim’s for a short time many years ago. I’d say the most popular/iconic items are the coffee, TimBits, donuts, and ‘iced caps’ (iced cappuccinos- a must-have if you ever go again!). Personally, I also love their steeped tea, but I assume as Brits you constantly drink tea and are therefore particular about it (?) in which case it probably wouldn’t be up to your standards 😋
In my opinion, Tim’s is best when they stick to breakfast foods- coffees, pastries, etc.
Their chili meal is delicious, I get it all the time since I don’t like very spicy foods so their chili is more my taste.
As a Canadian, I’ve never seen Tim’s carry that double cheeseburger
never seen it in Manitoba
Never seen it in Ontario either.
I've never seen the waffle fries either
Never seen it in Alberta either
Not in Quebec either! Also sour cream glazed is the best donut!
As a Canadian I had a visceral reaction to hearing that there was a burger on the menu 😭💀
The outcome of the merger with Burger King 😢
Right?! So wrong!
When I worked at Tim's, the impossible burger was still on the menu. Everyone who worked there thought that it was gross. Tim Hortons should stick with breakfast food 😣. Burgers and Tim Hortons do not mesh well in my opinion.
My first reaction. WTF?
@@maryannezou5261 I've not tried the burger, but the crispy chicken burger was very nice.
@ryantrott4802 Regular is literally called regular, so it obviously should be the default.
As a Canadian this was the absolute best video reaction I've seen. I love to see that timmies is appreciated by more then just us Canadians
You can really tell they are the best of friends, they bite off the same spot. For some reason that's so endearing and wholesome :)

2:09 Timmie's is beloved because there's always a location where it matters the most: hospitals, airports, tourist spots, DMVs, shopping plazas etc. You pop in, ask for a "double double" (maybe a donut) and you're out the door.
Ditto for Timmy Ho's in the States. But ours doesn't have half those menu items they tried.
Also alot of people are now going to McDonald's for the coffee because they bought Tim Hortons original recipe when Tim Hortons changed thiers
yeah I always go to tim hortans just for the bagels and donuts now haha
Fun fact: at first Tim Hortons used to sell burger but eventually changed their menu for coffee and doughnuts (I believe it was to get a different clientele such as hockey players and their parents as Tim Hortons was a NHL’s player
@@emiliesylvestre3472 I don't know if you remembered but we used to have those beyond meat burgers a few years back, wasn't that bad but it didnt take long before they removed it from the menu

The reason Tim's potato based items are no good is cause they don't have fryers in the shop.
Hahaha it’s true that McDonald’s Hashbrowns are yet to be beat even here in Canada
BUD THE SPUD FROM THE BRIGHT RED MUD EH‼️🤣🤣🤣🫡🇨🇦
True story: we celebrated our 30th anniversary at Tim Hortons because they had knocked down our wedding reception restaurant and replaced it. Every guest got the cash card to order all the bits and bobs they wanted. The staff was so confused when we recreated our bouquet photo 😂. Best anniversary ever. Also, “toquebits” -brilliant!
Fun idea!
This is amazing 😂
Amazing!🎉
Josh trying to stop Ollie from popping back the Timbits was like Buddy the elf with the cotton balls 😂
That's right, @rachelinkala1707! I was trying to figure out why it rang a bell.
Best analogy lol

I love how they keep referring/comparing every breakfast sandwich to the McMuffin because McDonald's basically invented this sandwich 😂😂😂😂
English muffins and sausage were a thing before mcdonalds. Lol
Did McDonald's invent the burger also?😅
So, as a Canadian here are my recommendations:
Everything bagel with cream cheese is a must
Apple fritter
Strawberry jam filled or raspberry jam filled donut (whichever one they have or both if they have both)
Crueler (that's my fiance's favourite)
The muffins are great you can never go wrong with those and some of them are even filled with jam
Iced Capp (basically a coffee slushie and the best way to have a coffee, especially during the hot summer)
Cake donuts, chocolate specifically.
Enjoy!
Yea fr and never get the strawberry icing topped donut, that thing is gross as hell. (from my experience it was also stale)
The peanut butter cookies
It's hilarious that Olly is the guinea pig. He tastes everything first & Josh checks his face first before taking a bite
Eew, all that's left is plain! and one coconut
@bmorg7244 my favourites 😂
Bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit. You are missing out josh and ollie. So good.

"Tim's Bits" IM DEADDD
I'm glad you guys enjoyed the Timbits! Honestly they're such a great snack to pick up if you can't commit to a single donut flavour.

Ollie's "McStart My Heart" routine is hilarious and true. I had a memory unlock once he started hitting his diaphragm.
As a canadian i absolutely love the hashbrowns, timbits and the donuts. I don’t know if the hashbrowns being bad was based off of the location, but here in canada i love them.
Love from Canada 🇨🇦
I think if you're used to deep fried ones, the hashbrowns being baked tastes strange. It's ok, but I do agree, things are dependent on location.
There's a smaller local chain called St Hubert, it's a homestyle chicken rotisserie restaurant that has a humble but celebrating following :) as a mid eastern Canadian I really recommend that one.
The apple fritter when it's fresh and warm is amazing!
Tim's Chile is pretty great , get it in the winter in winterpeg

Ollie being upset about other people's tastes, yet he's the one to always dislike something 🤣🤣
As much as I like watching these two, Ollie seems to downgrade items before he even tries a bite. It might make it harder to form an unbiased opinion. But still love watching!

I really miss the chili in a bread bowl! Soo insanely good!
Yes guys, you should absolutely go to Canada and make it a whole series! 😃🇨🇦
If you really want a Canadian fast food experience, try A&W in Canada!
A&W is American LOL.
a&w in usa is different then A&W in Canada A&W is Canada is Canadas second biggest fastfood chain @@barcelonachair6487
@@barcelonachair6487it is but A&W Canada has been a separate entity from the US one for many years. Legally speaking they have no connection anymore
@@NotMac Yes, but does that in itself make it a Canadian company? The foundation of that brand is their root beer which is American. I think we have memories eating at these establishments but they aren't Canuck.
@@barcelonachair6487does the states have a&w burger spots?
As a Canadian, I can say that Tom hortons is a success story of marketing, not food or coffee
Tom Horton's the American knockoff version, amirite?
@@ZakhadWOW no, you're not
This is it exactly and its open in very convenient locations. I'd rather just walk 5 mins to my local timmies than travel 30 mins to a much better coffee shop.
Tom?
Isn't it Tim?
I can never get over Josh’s laugh! 😆
English Breakfast? Lmao
Tim matin doesn’t roughly translate to Tim morning, it literally translates to Tim morning
There’s no Canada like French Canada mon ami !
Ti matin = Little morning
It's actually something like... Tiny morning. In Quebec we tend to smoosh words together "Ti'matin"
Josh, your laugh is BEYOND! Love to hear you laugh. Love you both! Y'all make me happy!🤗

My experience with Tim Hortons in the UK is that it's great for just a coffee and a doughnut, however the main menu leaves a lot to be desired
Huge fan of the Bacon Farmers wraps. Honey Crueller & Boston Creme were by far the most popular donuts. The hash browns were fresh out of the oven which is why they were still soft.
