Tariffs do lead to higher prices, its literally the thing it does. The idea is to make imported good more expensive than locally produced goods, but if we dont make it here it can't work.
Domestic producers will just raise their prices to 5% below tariffed competition. Electing Trump was insane. It's his policies that fucked up the economy to begin with
You both slept through it. In 4 years a new president takes over. They might drop the tariffs. Or some of them. Now the USA based company that invested in bringing production back here can no longer make it and loses its investment and goes under so why take the risk.
@@graywind4326 wrong, presidents always make incentives to bring manufacturing/ production stateside. and fudging up trade agreements that has taken years/decades to produce are not easily put back together. trump already demonstrated this in his first term.... you were that C student who everyone just wanted to shut up, huh?
I heard it's Americano because US Soliders didn't like European centrate coffee so much in WW2, so they would request small pot hot water on the side to dilute
Tariffs will affect the consumer before they affect the supplier. Mass deportations will also have a direct effect on the price of goods. The markets will respond accordingly.
I enjoy your videos, but knowing you have a no-nonsense view of things, makes you one of the better cats on UA-cam. I just wish I had better resources to be better prepared. Only thing I have is a CCW.
I stumbled across your show this morning. I watch and listen to a lot of commentary each day. You are the first I’ve heard acknowledge the existence of non-Hispanic undocumented immigrants, particularly those from European countries or the UK. I say this because I have known or been acquainted with such people. I’ve wondered if they would be included in the mass deportation. I guess we’ll find out, won’t we?
Criminals will go first and is the main reason for deportation. They’re getting fed and offered housing in areas with actual citizens in poverty. That’s a problem.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
@MarineX Hey X, love the channel and all the content u put out. What coffee machine is that? That looks next level and i definitely know what im buying myself for christmas.
The semi trucks used by many large freight carriers are made in Mexico. If the prices of the trucks used to haul, everything goes up, the trucking companies will pass that on to the shippers and receivers who will, in turn, pass that on to the consumer. These tariffs could potentially affect the prices of many things
The price of coffee will increase or become unavailable under Trumps tariffs. Coffee is a good we cannot grow here (except in CA & HI), we import 95% of it. I hope you have been stocking up on coffee.
I like the vibe of this video. Thanks for speaking about it, and how it’ll affect everything. I’m sure you have subscribers who voted for Trump, they need to know the consequences of what they voted for. Side note: I’ve read and learned to pour the coffee into the water, not the water onto the coffee. The latter burns the coffee. Some science about it
What's been suggested to me in the recent past, is to stock up on a few foreign made items, keeping that idea in mind that the prices on those things will (probably) go up. As an example, I've gotten a few backpacks made in Vietnam from LAPG. They're well made, & inexpensive. Other items might be things like OTC meds. If I'm not mistaken, most of those precursor chemicals come from China.
Ya up here in canada we provide 90 percent of your deep fryer oil 90 percent of your wheat and pulses actual three system democracy and yes we might be polite but look at our history alone in WW2 then look up why the whitehouse is called the whitehouse 1812.
The ultimate goal of the tariffs is to encourage manufacturers to return to the US. Yes, the potential exist for higher prices but typically they are short term only. That encourages American production, by American workers, which clearly benefits all of the US economy. You're already seeing manufacturing move back to the US just as it did in the prior Trump presidency. Remember how good that economy was?
I’ve always admired the old times of US manufacturing, and the work citizens from all races and walks of life put in. Sure they weren’t the best conditions but it’s what the US was built upon. Now we’re letting other countries handle “building” our country while the debt is rising. Either way I know why people would be split on the issue.
Your coffee routine tells me you're a man of honor and integrity. I'm among the butt-hurt, primarily because we've elected a president who is effectively above the law and has and will evade accountability even for his criminal convictions. That is dangerous, even if Trump was a straight up angel from Heaven (he ain't).
As one of the people who helped elect #47 and as a fellow American, I just want to offer you a new viewpoint. Consider for a second what I saw happen. The law elevated itself above accountability of the People in its political persecution of an American citizen. The danger is in that fact.. that your government has openly committed crimes against the People for which it is supposed to serve. Maybe you should look beyond the scapegoat and look the injustice in the face. The People won this one.
I’m glad to see someone else didn’t sleep through high school Econ lol.

I remember the same worries about how buying stuff overseas would also be expensive in 2016…I honestly feel I worried over nothing.

Leave to us Americans to dilute a good thing

Very well thought-out. Well put. And nice coffee machine.
Thank you for your common sense approach to this topic 🙏
A good thing to pick up right now, are cables for all electronic devices made in China. And coffee, I appreciate the effort with the espresso.

Thanks brother. I tried both and I like the flavor of the water inwards.

I see the potential for a scenario like the movie Civil War on Amazon Prime
Good commentary. Enjoyed it. Would love to taste a cup....
Great video and great vibe without the political BS rherotic.
