I believe that “pickaxe stick” at the beginning that the construct is using to chop a tree is actually what’s known as an “axe”. It’s a very ancient tool in our real world so I’m not surprised you may not have heard of it
I thought the Same! 😆
And it's got 1d6+4 slashing damage
Best comment 😂
Lol exactly I was like dude are you trolling or what
right? I paused the video to come make the same comment because it upset me so. either dude was rage-bating us or he's a moron
Something I reaally hoped for TOTK were more bosses/minibosses cause the ones in BTOW were kinda underwhelming, so seeing the new bosses made me so happy
What about the dogs🥺
Breath the of wild?
@@ronaldmcdonald1173 Yeah, any problem?
@@slidersides Only if we can pet em
@@slidersides I remember the first time I saw a dog in the game. I tried to kill it and my teacher was so relieved that it didn’t work.
21:47 worth mentioning, both Tulin and Link have some elements of clothing that seems to be glowing blue. Perhaps we team up with each Tear-holder to receive a temporary ability that will then allow us to get closer to a dungeon/boss. Much like how we needed the help of Yunobo, Sidon, Riju, and Teba to get closer to their respective region’s divine beast.
Ganondorf also has one of the seven tears, this is made much clearer in the official artwork of him - his crown jewel thing is no longer an oval, but a tear. This makes me think maybe they are like sages / medallions, but Ganondorf representing one is super interesting. Since we have this horned beastly demon form with longer wild hair that looks more like Demise, it would be crazy cool if Demise and Ganondorf were in some way separate characters here and maybe Ganondorf could have a different role or act like more of a sage / ally, or we have a temple where the sage is straight up evil and must be defeated to gain their medallion / tear, whereas Demise himself would serve as the big bad in both scenarios. If not, and Ganondorf/Demise is the same character, its still very interesting that Ganondorf is given one of a 7-piece whole rather than the main trio of the Triforce. Zelda as well is given a 7-piece, but not Link, seemingly. Maybe if the idea of them as sages holds any water, Zelda herself would be a sage in a Zonai Temple and that's where you would also find the Master Sword.
If Ganondorf becomes an ally that would be so bad. I hope that doesn’t happen
I think Ganondorf is the champion for the dark agenda Demise has for Hyrule while Link is Hylia's champion.
It looks as though the entire world was fully expanded from the original and its awesome. It feels as though it combines aspects of Skyward sword to botw and has some aspects from other games sprinkled in (at least that’s what I’m getting). I’m so excited.
Nah just wait till all the stuff is behind dlc
Would love to hear what you mean by combining aspects of Skyward Sword(never played it, but know of the relative story)
For sure! The main complaint I was hearing from people was the lack of (or presumed lack of) changes to the overworld. But I think this trailer is pretty reassuring that the changes will suffice
@@brandonhohn245 Skyward Sword is the beginning of the LOZ story. You start out in a kingdom in the sky called Skyloft. There’s legend of a “surface world” beneath but no one dare test fate and fall to their dooms. At the end, you defeat this ultimate evil, named Demise. Him and the spirit of the Goddess of Hylia infuse and are locked into the master sword to prevent evil from surfacing again. Before being entrapped, Demise curses Link with an omen that each generation of the three will be forced to battle forever. It appears that Demise is going to be freed from the sword and will revive Ganondorf, beginning the new war. Demise is bringing Skyloft to the Surface World and “raising a king and building his new world” as it said in the trailer. There’s also dragons in Skyward Sword that had these sacred tears that were locked away in The Silent Realm that are clearly making a significant appearance in the new game.
In short. Skyward sword OG location, bad guys and items are coming to BOTW.
PS - Beetle (the merchant) was introduced in Skyward Sword.
@@JohnnyFromVirginia Now, do we have any reason to believe it's actually skyloft that's returning instead of new, unseen Zonai islands?
So not only does this man compile 86 THINGS we missed in the trailer, but he also manages to create a new intro all within a few hours. What a legend
True, this legend doesn’t get enough credit
After I watched it live, I literally searched for trailer reactions as if I expect these creators to gather there thoughts and emotions, create a 13 min, accurate and unique video with full editing AND have it instantly uploaded 🤣☠️
When it comes to Zelda content no one beats Zeltik
I’m surprised he managed to gather his thoughts so quickly considering that during the trailer his brain was so scrambled that he thought riju was urbosa and Sidon was one of the dead champions.
One extra thing at 20:41 it seems as though the Bokoblins have set up a defense for the Stone Talus. They have a small barrier presumably guarding the Talus' weak point, where if you remember with a strong enough hit knocks it over. So the Bokoblins are ACTUALLY smart enough to build a frontal defense to keep the Talus from toppling over
The laser glide outfit must be a reference to: The Roc's Cape is a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. This cape is an upgrade of the Roc's Feather and allows the wearer to jump and glide farther than normal.
There was an item in A Link to the Past called Rocs Cape
The Zonai are a Dragon folk, just like Rito are birds. Mark my words. At 13:35 you can tell that´s a dragon woman. The green theme, Links arm resembling claw-like nails, the way constructs look, dragon heads decorating every piece of architecture, the game´s logo, Zelda´s earrings at 22:00 look like made of dragon scales...
I absolutely agree
it’s a man. spoilers bc i say his name below:
it’s rauru. like the sage from OoT
The beginning of the trailer also has what I would term "Chinese music" (a bowed instrument of which I don't know the name), which is reminiscent of the music that the dragons have in BoTW.
Yeah sounds about right
@@catalyst539 hehe
Rawru
That's crazy he was able to find the 7 tears thing so quickly.
RIGHT bro has eyes of a hawk
Another thing I noticed was that Ganon's necklace seems to have slots for the tears to go in, as if he want to collect their power for himself.
I don't think Big G has the seventh Tear.
On the scene that Zelda meets the tall person (probably Zonai), you can see something on the back of his hand like with Sidon - probably the final Tear.
@@22NightWing big g?? that’s the best name for Gannon ive ever seen
@@22NightWing i just went through the ganondorf scene frame by frame, and he definitely does have a tear on his forehead. the outline is really obvious once the blinding light calms down lol
That figure might be what reincarnates into link. The spring of Courage is located in Faron next to the Zonai stuff so it would make sense that this Zonai thing is what is the original reincarnation of the hero
Man nothing beats the custom intro animation depending on the game, it just hits so good especially for this game as the music used is perfect.
Almost time for the 50 videos a day schedule for Austin John.
I missed the last one but I'm here for this!!!
As someone that discovered this channel 5 years ago because of BOTW, this moment feels so exciting and nostalgic at the same time. Can't wait for the hundreds of videos that Austin is going to make about this game!
Same, I remember I was a 12 year old kid who just got his switch on launch watching his videos, now I’m 17
@@axelace1906 Oh wow you make me feel old
@@axelace1906 exact same as me! Cant wait for this game and Austin's videos on it!

Just realised that with the level of creativity suggested with the fusing weapons and other items ability, it wouldn’t be a stretch to think that we may even be able to fuse things like ancient arrows to spears or swords for a kind of diy one hit obliterator
I feel like they'd probably balance that by making the ancient arrow break after hitting something
I don't think there will be ancient arrows? In the gameplay reveal when Link switched to a bow, instead of switching the shield quick menu for the arrow one it stayed as the shield menu, components have their own quick menu but none for arrows. Additionally fusing pretty much replaces elemental arrows so we aren't losing much.
@@SharpMindBasil Yeah that probably makes sense. I'm not even sure if Guardians will be enemies anymore or not anyways.
@@stormtrooper1704 I really don't think so, I haven't even seen a guardian wreckage, let alone a sign of fighting one.
@@SharpMindBasil That would definitely make sense
My goodness you have outdone yourself with this analysis video and all of these crazy theories that actually correlate with previous info from past trailers of the game along with ties to past games in the series and how it bring the time back to possibly one linear path rather then 3 separate branches. Very impressive and always fantastic work with these videos. Looking forward to seeing more Zelda videos once the game comes closer to release
You can also see a white tear on Zelda’s cheek. Hylia has multiple of the tears. Maybe after collecting all of them Zelda transforms into hylia.
She killed somebody?
@@xinpingdonohoe3978 Just cuz she's a princess don't mean she ain't a thug 💀
I like the construct fighting the chu chu cause that shows they defend the sky from everything and not just link
what I wonder is how did the chu chu get up there?
@@kalebclint9210 now I wanna go draw a chu chu with a propeller hat

@@Murkrok67 lol, that'd be great.
I love this! Your analysis got me so much more hyped about this game. Brilliant! The music also adds so much more to this story as well - the piano melody at 1:08 of the trailer - straight up chills!😬
this video makes me so much more excited for the game i seriously can’t wait :D i love how austin pieces everything together, it makes this game seem even more interesting!
4:00 tiny detail I haven't seen anyone mention that I love: the NPC sweeping at the front waves and turns to face Link. I like this, it gives the NPCs more character and interaction.
absolutely I really hoped they fleshed out the NPCs of this game cuz istg, once you complete all of the BOTW npc, quests there's nothing to do :/
That NPC is there in BotW too! She waves as well in botw to attract him to the shop
Honestly, I'm excited to see how the NPCs react to Link, now that everyone knows that he's the one who defeated the Calamity
Well yes, that's Ivee. That's what she does as a greeter. I'm more surprised that the meandering old man appears to be Moggs, one of the residents of Tarrey Town.
If the master sword's seal is broken, that means that we could have phi come back, because she was part of the seal on demise.
Idk if we should be happy about that lol
Jk, id love to see more familiar faces
Maybe? And its spelled Fi.
@@Josh-Man in german its Phai
“There is a 99.8% chance that this would be true if the seal were broken” - Fi
I’m absolutely with you on the Demise in Ganondorf’s body, Hylia in Zelda’s body theory. It makes a lot of sense. Using them as vessels to fight each other would be bad ASSSSS! I cannot wait! Loved this video!
Anyone else noticed that the scene with Link on horseback where he's wearing that new armor Austin mentioned the horse also is wearing a new Bridle and Saddle and they kind of match Link's armor does this mean maybe a set bonus that works with our horse as well man the customization options in this game are gonna be endless I can't wait
The figure at 13:38 you were wondering about is not only a Zonai, it's the same Zonai from the mural at 26:58. Just compare them and it's pretty obvious.
Also the tear shaped objects appear on the Zonai as well.
IT'S LUCARIO! Just kidding. I agree with you. You can see it's earrings when you look closely just like the mural.
Nah the mural is of the dark-skinned Zelda (Hylia)-- same face markings, tiara, necklace, ears, everything. Even more accurate than the dinosaur woman
It also looks like that particular Zonai fuses with Zelda 24:22. Maybe Zelda realizes she must “fuse” herself to stop the evil Zonai. Similar to Gannon fusing with Demise. Lots of fusing in this game.
@@OblivionZX
No lmao
The resemblance between the presumed Hylia and that mural doesn’t exist.
The Zonai person is much more likely to be the mural figure.
@@catalyst539huh?? It's literally 1-to-1 lol. Headress, ears, necklace, tears under eyes. But sure no resemblance.
A crazy theory popped into my mind around @25:10 regarding Hylia as Zelda and Demise as Ganondorf. What if the large green probably zonai person we see with Zelda is actually "the spirit of the hero"? What Hylia is to Zelda and Demise is to Ganondorf, that person could be exactly that to Link. We know the three of them are constantly reincarnated throughout time, but we never saw (I think?) what is it that keeps reincarnating into Link. That's also the reason they stay with Zelda and protect her. Just a thought.
Oh I like this theory. Would also explain why the spring of courage is in the zona ruins in BotW.
@@ChadRazorback True, nice. I kinda think that there's a lot to fill in there but it feels like it was missing for so long that now that you think about it it kind of becomes obvious? Ganon has malice, monsters, the blood moon, the triforce of Power, Zelda is connected to the Sheikah and their ancient blue colored technology and the triforce of Wisdom, Link of course has the Triforce of Courage and there's kind of... no "big thing" behind that. Other than the Master Sword, but that's just a single, albeit powerful, item. I feel like this void is filled by the Zonai, their green-colored technology - it's connected to Link himself?
Nope. Hylia only reincarnated once in skyward sword, every other Zelda is just her descendant. Demise reincarnates but not himself only his hatred.
As for Link he is the only one who reincarnates. The original hero before the link from skyward sword looked at look like another Link
it would make me sleep better knowing that a tangible force, a green dog, somehow manages to convince mothers to name their sons link
Nah, Link is quite literally the link between Hylia and Demise. He is the very essence of the world itself, the balance of the Tao, the twin ouroboros, the eternal duality, the struggle between good and evil, creation and destruction, order and chaos, everything and nothing.
In Tears of the Kingdom, Link finds Zelda/Hylia and escorts her to Ganondorf/Demise, linking them together in the most literal way possible, and perhaps restarting the cycle of Legends or, more interestingly, breaking out of it once and for all.
I love that you made this, just what I was wanting to see!
Also this was cracking me up, plug the switch in with usb-c 12:57 😂
Not only am I super excited for this game, I’m excited for the content you’ll drop for it!!! These next couple of months are gonna be great :)
I’m an artificer main in DND, so Link having a ton of engineer abilities makes my heart happy
Just noticed you can see Ganondorf’s tear on his headpiece in his promo art! So you’re spot on about that.
27:44 I believe that bow is the knights bow, is it not? I may be wrong
No, you're correct. It is the knights bow and he just made a mistake
Yessah! Been waiting for you to do an analysis video of this game. Great job!! Thank you for sharing detail by detail. 😄🤙🏾🏝️
One thing about Zelda falling and the light around her, you can distinctly see her palm glow where the Triforce is on her left hand
The fact you found 86 things this fast is exactly why I always wait for your videos! Absolutely insane! Amazing video as always.
Oh wow Austin you have the best analysis video for this final trailer.. It makes so much sense, thank you!!! ❤❤❤
It is inevitable why you are as successful as you are. Thanks for a crazy eye opener going into this! For someone who hasn't played much zelda since ocarina of time, and little bits here and there. Then going through and throughout botw. You explaining skyward sword is an incredible addition to this especially not know how it played out. Thank you AustinJohn!
Rather than Ganon and link getting their own tears, maybe there will be Korok (Hestu?) and Sheikah (Paya?) "sages" instead, to line up with the original sages from each Hyrule tribe. There may be Dungeon-esqe challenges you have to complete together with these new sages to obtain their tears and awaken their powers.
I wonder if Teba died, or was permanently crippled by his encounter with Vah Medoh, seeing as his son seems to have taken his place...
Love the analysis. I just noticed that the final scene of the trailer Zelda is sitting on a stone bench with a waterfall in front that is identical to that sky island that is connected by a bridge to that giant sky castle as link falls through the sky.
My duuuude sick video as always, THE reference for breakdowns and things you might’ve missed 🤘🏻🤘🏻👊🏻
Thank you for making this detailed video, so quickly. 😊😊😊😊
That scene where it's in question if its Ganondorf or demise with the blood moon rising is totally just Ganondorf being revived or... refreshed/rehydrated as some are calling it. It really does look similar to Demise though, closest we've seen yet and I think that this game will heavily reference SS.
I've noticed though that the figure with the blood moon also has horns, and longer hair than Ganondorf later. I believe it's just a powered up Ganondorf. Also on the mural at the end Ganondorf has horns
I think it’s safe to say by now that no matter how many great zelda tubers I find and enjoy… I always come back to you. You are my favorite. I love the energy you put into all of it and not to mention all the intellect and connecting the dots the way you do. Something to be admired and much appreciated. Good work man. Lookin forward to your TOTK videos. 💚
That was some in depth analysis for posting this video the same day as the trailer release. Impressive my guy!
Holy crap that ending with the tears, I never noticed them before and that’s sick if everyone gets a tear that powers them up or something
I like how they made him a bit more expressive with his face when some of these scenes
Example: 13:00
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR US AUSTIN!
Lick the boots lol.
@@chrissumner8172 Lmfao.
Thank you dude i can’t wait for this game to come out, HUGE world to explore.. all that waiting for me.
I desperately needed this video. thank you!
The platform that you mention at 2:44 that looks like the lighthouse from Skyward Sword looks like the one Zelda is sitting on in the last shot where she tells Link to find her. Perhaps it will be a case of meeting her throughout the game, similar again to Skyward sword but instead of just missing her each time you actually interact with her
Ah, the good ol’ Austin John Zelda era returns
At 4:05, above Hateno, you can see that there is now a tower at the top of Mount Lanayru (sp?). We still don't know what these do, but they are definitely not just in the same place as the towers were in BOTW
i haven’t watched your videos since about 2018, i watched your BoTW guides religiously, haha. so glad to see you’re still making great content!!!
You missed that Zelda has one (maybe more, we only see one) tears on her face, where as the other girl (Hylia?) has eight. There is likely some significance to this, especially if Zelda becomes Hylia by the end of the game.
What's an hylia???
Amazing analysis. And I LOVE the way TOTK seems to harken back to the original Zelda lore. Such a sense of history in this one. Can't wait! 💜 Thank you so much.
I haven't watched your channel in like five years, but it looks like I'm going to be a regular viewer again for a few months. I've missed you.
4:25 it looks like clothing to me. If you look all the way to the left, there is a clearer image of a very similar shape on the blue banner and it looks like a hat and a long shirt
Edit: and if you look at it zoomed out, between the yellow flags above the shops awning, there is a giant mushroom hat above a giant shirt on some sort-of mannequin. I think the logo is representing that.
This was dope, I liked how you noticed about the tears and how the game might finally be following the lore from previous games.
The tears are also how you restore the master sword in windwaker, and power up in phantom hourglass
I haven't heard your background music in a long time and it makes me nostalgic about the beginning of Pokémon sword and Sheild!
Great video Austin, can't wait to watch your videos about things to do after the story because the BOTW one was the first video I ever saw from your channel.
I literally JUST got done watching your reaction after I watched the official trailer myself! What lovely timing!!!
Love your vids austin. But you had me screaming "wing suit its called a wing suit!" During the lazer tunnel section😅
Dude nice deep dive. Loved hearing your thoughts as always!
The tears for the descendants are the same colour as the champion's abilities from BOTW.
Blue for Mipha's Grace - Sidon
Green for Revali's Gale - Tullen
Yellow for Urbosa's Fury - Riju
and most probably red for yunobu.
Something I think you missed: When Zelda is holding the tear over the Master Sword and in the very last scene, there are no sky islands.
Considering we see her in her old clothes before the sky islands are created, the only reason I can think of for this is time travel.
I came here to say this.
Don't ask me how but they triangulated Zelda's position in the overword by looking at the mountain formations around her, she's close to the bottom of hyrule so maybe she's looking to the edge of the map? That would explain the absence of sky islands since it's all sea there, no ground to be pulled up
Also the platform she's on looks like the one that's in the sky when Austin points out the Sky Keep
When botw first came out I spent so much time going back and forth between the actual game and your videos. I was in the 7th grade back then and now Im closing out my first year of college so seeing your channel on my feed got me a little emotional
Awesome breakdown! You missed that crazy crocodile boss thing that was near the end of the trailer ! So many cool looking bosses in this trailer
Epic John. Great find and shout about the tears👍🏻
I wonder if that scene with the slate is part of the exploration before they encounter Gannon, and then you lose the slate after that somehow and then have to rely on the hand abilities.
I agree w/ you. Infact he does not seem yet to have any mutated right arm in that scene.
Yeah I think any scene in Champion tunic is pregame cutscene
Yeah the arm seemed to be fine so I think this is pre arm times so we may still lose the slate. Sadly no windbombs still
Ah here we go, the Austin John Plays breakdowns are just so nostalgic
Great video buddy. I’m looking forward to checking out your videos throughout the gameplay I am abandoning my family to do
This analysis has got me even more hyped, cannot wait!
God the idea that both Hylia and Demise are going to return in their original forms is so incredibly genius and makes so much sense! It makes so much sense and would be such a poetic ending for the series, at least in a chronological sense, which it seems this game is going to be. Starting with Hylia reincarnating as a mortal and Demise being defeated and vowing vengeance against the Hero and the goddess. Then ending with Hylia returning as a goddess and Demise regaining his full power, attempting to once again destroy the Hero and goddess both. All while the Hero watches on, unchanging.
But that sets up an interesting possibility. If this all ends up being the case, then what happens at the end? If the Master Sword's power is stripped, and it must be returned to full power once again, as well as the fact that you have to reseal Demise and his power, that's a complete mirror of Skyward Sword. So, the cycle wouldn't end, it would just restart from the same position as it did the first time it happened. Which would make sense based on the, what seems to be, Ouroboros design in the logo.
God this is gonna be damn incredible.
I’m glad someone else sees this as a possible “end” to the literary narrative. Makes me feels less crazy haha
Yes i do believe this will take us somewhere near the beginning of SS.. we do see link probably rescuing all citizens from hyrule probably to just send them back to sky or, maybe not.. maybe the cycle dont means that everything will happen the same but the cycle of hatred will keep going.. still i do believe we saw 2% of this game so, lets see what is coming 🤩
This has been my theory lately. The ouroborous iconography alone is a dead giveaway.
The legend of Zelda has its own established creation mythology, akin to what we're familiar with in our own lives. In this particular creation myth, the developers chose to go with the rebirth and reincarnation ideology. Skyward sword was the start of it all, totk will be the end of it all, thus beginning anew where it all began. In a cycle of rebirth. It's the culmination of one our most beloved stories.
I believe this game will feature aspects of all of the most notable previous Zelda titles all in one place, and it will concisely end where it all began. It's going to be a masterpiece. Where we used to have Michaelangelo, we now have Nintendo.
It’s also cool to think about the fact that this isn’t technically the ending, it’s just the end of the timeline that we know so far. Hopefully this series is around for years to come and we get to see what happens past this game, too.
If Glioch is going to be in this, could that scorpion/spider thing be Gohma?
no because it's blue when gohma is brown
Austin I remember when we were all riding the hype train before breath of the wild and the content was gold and flowing! I’m so excited to be back here again! So excited
And this is why I followed this awesome dude. Never ever have click baits and always have awesome content. Ty again Austin keep on the great work. Huge Fan of yours.
Now, although it is equally likely that the Hateno shop you pointed out here is one which deals in monster parts (Kilton shop expansion mayhaps?), I see it being more likely that this shop is a clothing shop, as you can see a hat and a jacket. In turn, there is a clothing shop in that area in BotW!
Edit:
Also, just thought about this, but what if the golden/green energy around Zelda when she was falling is like the teleportation Link did after completing a Divine Beast?
Small theory of mine is that the little skydiving part with the lazars finds place at the big hole at hè giga hideout. Maybe we can see the return of master Kohga ??
I agree. Looks like Yiga Clan hideout hole.
Such a good breakdown. Thanks, Austin.
Love the theory! It looks like there’s a tear on our mystery person, possibly Zelda, in a necklace in the same spot Zelda wears it in some clips, possibly further proof to your theory? Or maybe even the way the transformation between the two forms takes place? Love the content keep it up!
Maybe the red stuff is the manifestation of everyone’s rage and frustration that completed the trail of swords on master mode. That was hard!!
At 24:20 I believe you are right about the parallel between demise / ganandorf and hylia / zelda. I think the new character we see in 13:35 is hylia and she fuses with zelda or something creating the mix we see later on in the trailer.
100%
This was a great analysis! Thank you!
9:35 at some point we can clearly see that light particles come direcltly from the hand. So it is a Triforce activation, almost sure.
Thanks for the analysis and slowed upscaled trailer, Austin!
10:07 I call it a Viking Ship, but only because it looks very heavily inspired by the Norse craftsmanship of Vikings. Even Link's outfit makes me think Greek-inspired, and there are a few beasts that could fall into Greek-lore. Wonder if there will be any within Norse and other European monster inspired lore.
My theory about Zelda falling+the energy. I think with the Zonais time manipulation (Recall) technology she is saved and transfered away when she falls but it might be a temporary fix (very professor Layton and the lost future esque). So either during the duration of the game we work on saving Zelda or it's just the set up for a bittersweet ending where Zelda has to go back to the moment where she falls and dies. But that's just my crackpot theory, probably totally off.
Thanks for the details and the work put in, Austin!! I'm even more hyped for the game now, I'll probably pre-order the base game even though I want to get the collector's edition just because I couldn't secure one and I want to play the game asap.
Great analysis, Austin, and I'm loving the theory with the tears and their connection to the Medallions as well as the Hylia/Demise rematch.
But a little clarification on our Goron friend.
The Goron we see in the trailer isn't Yunobo, and neither is the fireball hurtling at Link, since going frame by frame you can see it has a mark on it that is similar to the one the Zonai constructs have, the Anchor-like marking on it's bottom, most visible after it bounces in the air after striking the wall.
We do see possible evidence of Yunobo being present, however, as we see the Boulder Breaker, Daruk's weapon, swing into frame when Riju, Sidon, and Tuelin are all charging and you can clearly see Sidon and Tuelin's Tears.
Yunobo himself isn't much of a fighter, so it's plausible that another Goron has taken up the mantle for him like how Teba seems to have retired, but since it's not a known character, they may not have wanted to show him yet.
I think the bow in the Gliok scene is the Knight’s bow. It looks very similar to it
Thank you for your service Austin. Can't wait for your coverage of the game - it's always quality stuff.
❤your theory of Hilya and Malice gave me chills I have been waiting for decades to finally see the goddess ,you're amazing
Great Analysis! The 7 Tears stuff especially. I think the Crystal sword at the end may be a new Frostblade, maybe an elemental weakness of the Fire Breathing Dragon.
The place where Zelda stand at the end (28:29) is clearly the same that we see at the beginning when Link skydive (2:43) maybe it has some connection like that’s the place where we will find her or something
The giant tarantula thing in the sky kinda reminds me of the Skytails from Skyward Sword, like an evil ice one.
The floating cubes are the former labyrinths that were in BOTW. They’re in the air now, revealing something below it, (probably dungeons) and changing they’re layout in the air.
Amazing video, Austin!
i bet the floating cubes are designed around the ascend mechanic. you would have to peek, then retreat back down a floor if things look bad. certain ceilings might be too textured or angled to ascend through. i would really enjoy a 3d maze. idk how downward movement would work, maybe just pits. maybe we eventually unlock descend?
Heard something the other day where they said that Breath of the Wild actually exists at a point where all 3 timelines have merged together into 1. They didn't say what caused the merge, just that it happened.
I’m so glad I saw your video for this!
I think the tear/tier thing is accurate. But I would also argue that if they’re harking back to Skyward Sword all hard, and we’re seeing the pieces of Skyloft falling to the surface area, the pieces are like tears falling to the surface. Physical tears of the kingdom Skyloft.
It makes me wonder if we’re going to see any Loftwings????
I was waiting for one of these videos!😅
