Fr the spider thing coming out of the ice pit looked insane. Also the 3 headed dragon was in the last trailer and it seems to guard a giant bridge to hyrule or something. Hey Austin, considering the time shenanigans from Age of Calamity and how *spoilers* it created a paradox where none of the champions or the king died, I'll bet that's why Sidon and Urbosa are back.
I don't think this is the same Hyrule, have you noticed that Link seems to "arrive" in Hyrule from the sky at the start of the trailer? Zelda falls into some kind of parallel universe, in the cutscene at 3:23, then at the end she says, "you must find me"
In the opening of the first trailer, there is an image of a being (Gannon) that has 7 items in a circle around him. These items resemble the shape of a tear. Zelda was holding a small yellow item that also looked like the shape of a tear. There were multiple big monsters in this video. They look like temple bosses. I think there will be a minimum of 7 temples in tears of the kingdom, one of which looks like it was rising out of the sand in the desert.
Not sure if anyone noticed but when link recalls the boulder to hit the octorock, it seems that time stops. Maybe using recall during combat will temporarily stop time.
I never thought they could top BOTW yet I think they're doing it. Having actual Ganondorf is a huge plus, one of my biggest disappointments of the first was that he never made an appearance.

Concerning his hand, I assume at the start Ganon will surprise them on their trip under hyrule with his awakening, and attack Link’s arm with malice like we see, destroying the master sword. This eventually will lead to losing Zelda and being saved by someone and having the arm fixed using Zonai technology and opening the possibility for upgrades, like the slate was. From what I can tell there are two sets of abilities in this game, one being the arm using the powers and the other being Link himself, I don’t know how though. Seems a pretty solid theory to me but if anyone seeing this can add anything then please do, as I didn’t play Skyward sword and don’t really know much about Demise other than the curse he made
I think that was actually demise, when they showed ganondorf (4:55) his actual hair was not glow red like it was on that other guy who we didn’t see their face. 3:20. I think demise is actually in this game!!
Some cool things I noticed/think: 1. In 1:41 of the trailer where you see the deity/animal (assuming Hylia), there's a Rito in the background holding Revali's bow. When you look at Link rising in the air at 2:19, you see that Teba's son, Tulin, is the one wielding Revali's bow. In 3:07 you can see Tulin NOT using the BotW but maybe it's an earlier shot before he gets it because in 3:19 he's shown running with Sidon and Riju which signifies the modern day champions. 2. The shot of the "Hylia" is not the same person in the shot in 3:09. Someone could prob make a counter argument that it could've been a change of clothes/hair/accessories but I believe that's Zelda taking on the "true" form of Hylia. I'm assuming this is a moment where Zelda does that transformation because she's holding out her hand and in the next scene, immediately a yellow beam is wiping out the wave of Molduga's so it seems like she's the one who shot it. The person shooting the beam has Hylian ears while the person in 1:41 has animalistic features but not the distinctive Hylian ears. Interesting to note that both the pendant and her right hand are glowing similar to the glow she had while she was falling in 1:26 3. In 2:48, Zelda is holding the glowing pendant, you can see she has the Master Sword with her. More prominent when she's seen holding it in 3:21 but maybe this is the moment Zelda repairs/upgrades the Master Sword.
I swear to god zelda has been my favourite game series since ever and I'm so glad they dropped this trailer can't lie I was worrying a little with the last one
In the original trailer, mummy Ganondorf had very long hair. It's been seen as long multiple times, even in OoT. Lots of people seem to forget that and jump to the conclusion that the long hair is Demise. Ganondorf is Demise just like Zelda is Hylia and Link is The Hero. They are manifestations and reincarnations of the same spirits. It's possible that they could somehow separate them into separate characters, but I don't see that happening. Skyward Sword's lore explains everything fairly well.
I have a giant checklist that I have to make my way through, but I think the first thing I'll do is scan all of my amiibo characters in because I so want to see what they're talking about with the different parasails
You are literally the only reason i was able to 100% complete breath of the wild, and hopefully you'll do the same with tears of the kingdom. your definitely my favourite nintendo/zelda creator! :3

I loved the new trailer and can't wait for all the useful tips and tricks videos your going to make when I need help, thank you for what you do Austin John 🙏🔥
Glad that someone finally noticed Demise. Most people's reactions were more focused on Ganon and ignored Demise. Either they're both in the game or in order for Demise to retrieve his full power, he has to fuse with Ganon. The bright flowing hair just can't be Ganon. If you also look closely, Demise has thicker and scaly arms in comparison to Ganon. Ganon was in a way, Demise's puppet while Demise was sealed away inside of the Master Sword. The seal being broken and the return of Fi , Demise could end up being the true boss of this game or maybe Ganon will be able to take Demise's powers. Instead of being used by Demise and now that Demise is finally free, as Ganon has grown more powerful over the years and defeated the hero in few a few timelines, the idea that Ganon could be more powerful then Demise is possible. Either way, a hero vs. a god like Demise or Ganon with the powers of a god could be interesting for the Zelda series as it would probably be one of Links most challenging battles yet. Age of Calamity could also a factor cause while they may have not changed the past in which it would effect the current timeline, they would be able to bring help from a past in which won't have issues when removed from the past. While Age of Calamity takes place before Breath of the Wild, it also takes place after as the new champions come and aid their ancestors. When the game is out, the timeline is going to be even more complicated then it was before.

I think that was actually demise, when they showed ganondorf (4:55) his actual hair was not glow red like it was on that other guy who we didn’t see their face. 3:20. I think demise is actually in this game!!
I think that was just malice transforming him into Ganon
When the blood moon magic (malice?) Starts flowing through all the enemies and the lynels pop up, I swear I saw a lynels with antlers..
Some cool things I noticed/think:
Interesting to note that both the pendant and her right hand are glowing similar to the glow she had while she was falling in 1:26
3. In 2:48, Zelda is holding the glowing pendant, you can see she has the Master Sword with her. More prominent when she's seen holding it in 3:21 but maybe this is the moment Zelda repairs/upgrades the Master Sword.
Man I have thought of this game every single day for over a year. I’m so excited. So soon!!
1: Sky Keep, that's the shrine you were talking about. 2: Not Urbosa, Riju. 3: Ganondorf's body, Demise's Power/Malice.
2 days, 2 days straight of watching this freaking trailer, bravo Nintendo you created the perfect trailer.
Well escalated quickly 😂😂 Ganondorf ish get real when he on the scene ain't nobody safe
I swear to god zelda has been my favourite game series since ever and I'm so glad they dropped this trailer can't lie I was worrying a little with the last one
Temples are back, also that was Gerudo actual Queen that have growth up, also the son of the Orny that help us before on BOTW too.
Man his face at the end. We all had the same face man. We happy.
The moment I saw Link falling and the logo appearing, every hair in my body rose
🔥🔥🔥
Can't wait for the analysis video
In the original trailer, mummy Ganondorf had very long hair. It's been seen as long multiple times, even in OoT. Lots of people seem to forget that and jump to the conclusion that the long hair is Demise. Ganondorf is Demise just like Zelda is Hylia and Link is The Hero. They are manifestations and reincarnations of the same spirits. It's possible that they could somehow separate them into separate characters, but I don't see that happening. Skyward Sword's lore explains everything fairly well.
After hateno village, central square and kakariko village, area showed is THYPHLO RUINS no longer shrouded in darkness!
Can't believe Austin didn't say anything about the wing suit, I want that!
Im not sure if you did but they were shown in the artbook leaks
I was so excited when i saw it was real! 😂
What a trailer!!! This had my emotions all over the place in the best way’s possible, this month can’t go by fast enough!
I have a giant checklist that I have to make my way through, but I think the first thing I'll do is scan all of my amiibo characters in because I so want to see what they're talking about with the different parasails
Oh holy crap!!!!!!! It's IMMENSE! So much here. Main theme.....Link must find Zelda! Pumped doesn't begin to describe how I feel!!!!! Whoooaaa......
You are literally the only reason i was able to 100% complete breath of the wild, and hopefully you'll do the same with tears of the kingdom. your definitely my favourite nintendo/zelda creator! :3
Ganondorf finally hydrated after 10,000 years
That little theme from 5:07 through 5:14 has me screaming I love this
5:08 that “Okay! Let’s go!” Sounds so much like Colleen O’shaughnessey (who plays tails)
They literally took a perfect game and made it more perfect
How is that even possible
I swear this man is a time traveller or something. Every speculation he had on the news for totk is spot on every time
"Is that Urbosa? Is that Sidon? How is that possible?"
I think you forgot that Riju and Sidon were the descendants of the original Champions.
AUSTIN John - Kakeriko Village seems to have a ZONAI Shrine with Green Swirlies and has a BIG Zonai artifact in between some Mountains in Kakeriko Village.
Hyyyype! I was really hoping for an Austin analysis of this! Going to watch my inbox all day for that notification hahaha
6:54 we literally saw that in the first trailer.
You got me when you said we were at a place looking at things 😂😂😂
All those questions about Gannon are the same questions I was asking watching this. So excited for this game!!!!!
That's Ganondorf turning into demise and fulfilling that theory where tok is a prequel to sws and also the "end" of the loop
*scratches beard with arm tattoo of Zelda hearts*
“I’m really exited for this game”
😂
Love you Austin
4:50 that would be a tear of the kingdom I’m guessing Austin!!😄
We saw that falcon thing he is riding in the sky years ago in another trailer haha
AJP! When I played with my friend, childhood, I always imagined these beautiful elfen speaking galish! Haven't played but def broke my wonderful childhood memories like superman crashing on my home and flying away.
Most of the people I see react to this trailer, also bowed their head to Aonuma, I just thought it was so lovely and its adorable how much respect and adoration we have for the artists behind such a piece
Love how you're reacting to things we've seen before like you haven't seen it
I loved the new trailer and can't wait for all the useful tips and tricks videos your going to make when I need help, thank you for what you do Austin John 🙏🔥
