Being local to the area and having travelled on that line many times during the EMT era, I can see that it's a representation of what's there IRL, but nowhere near accurate enough to be a near £30 DLC, so even if I did own TSW3 I wouldn't buy it. Under East Midlands Railway, those Nottingham-Matlock services changed to become part of the Newark-Matlock route, and no longer call at Attenborough. No direct train from Attenborough to Derby anymore, because it's the Leicester train that stops now. Other titbits: CrossCountry also run Nottingham-Derby limited stop with 170s, which continue from Derby to Birmingham New Street. Erewash Valley is pronounced like error-wash valley. Etches Park is the Derby depot where HSTs, 222s etc are maintained. The Nottingham depot is Eastcroft, for 156s, 158s, 170s etc. The 10mph limit just before Long Eaton is real, as is the amount of flange squeal there. Board definitely in wrong place though. Stopping right at the end of the platform is a game thing, the real trains don't do that. The game nailed some things like the green footbridge at 21:52, but missed out on some other major elements of scenery. Disappointingly empty sidings at Derby RTC, aside from the GWR coaches. The real place is packed with Network Rail stock, mk3s for test trains, DVTs, class 37s, old wagons used as storage.... Can't they fill it with base game assets to make it look busy? Million dollar question - leaving Derby station to the north, have they included the big Trent Barton depot on the left?! (re-reading my comment, I sound quite grumpy, but I actually really enjoyed the video!)
I’m playing Train Sim World 3 and I’m also driving the 158 on my PS4 Pro and I’m doing the Nottingham route and I love it ☺️☺️☺️🥰🥰, I genuinely love Train Sim World 1,2 & 3
When you said about long Eaton there’s cross country travel to and from Birmingham and EMR London st pan, Crewe, Sheffield and Matlock it’s my local route midland mainline
And yesterday I found out that in Train Sim World 3 on East Midlands Trains if you go on: 1. Choose An Itinerary 2. Select East Midlands Trains & Select “On Foot” 3. And Select Eastcroft Depot you’ll see 2 158’s standing side by side on the tracks you can hope on either one and couple them together.
1508 doors open quite slow so when you press the open doors button you hear a pshhhhhhh for a few seconds and then bang. I tend to see some people thinking the doors don't work
Is this game easy to play/pickup? When Joe started the train there looked to be a lot of buttons to press? Also is it easy to slow down/make the stops?
the 158 looks stunning with TSW's lighting!
Doesn’t it though!
Im a Manager at Nottingham for EMR the 158's are our pride of our fleet for my team. TSW have done a real good job with them.

The 700's coming to SEHS, Gillingham to Dartford services I believe, might make a good excuse to take another crack at it for a future vid? 🤔
The Matlock service does stop in that position as the XC class 170s change ends in platform 3A, on their route between Birmingham & Nottingham.

The 158 & HST look good, it’s just such a shame the route itself is so poor. It’s so sparse and generic.
Thanks Joe.
Nice video Joe and love the class 158
Finnaly get to know how accurate the stations luck ps. I gave a 7/10 for accuracy
Seems like a route that I‘ll get when it’s on sale - the details just seem to be missing a little here and there
Nice vid can you try the HST pls?
My name is Joe too and I also love 158s
