    What impress me more is your shooting. You should play for the lakers! We could use you. Any how great job on the install iam about to install a spalding court with 72 inches board and 6 x 6 post, i have the exact mounting kit from amazon i hope it will hold. Also thinking about maybe digging a 20 x 20 x 48 iam not sure if its over kill.

    Did the hoop come with the backboard padding?

    Looks amazing! So you don’t need to put any kind of absorption material or pad between the old and new concrete? I have the exact same project to do but was worried the new concrete would expand.

      @TheRykerDane  Рік тому

      I actually put a piece of cardboard around the edge before the new concrete was poured.

      @@TheRykerDane there are three posts need to be attached together. The manual says each of them should have a 5” overlap. I can only get to about 4”. Called customer service, they said to use a hammer, but didn’t work

      No cracks or anything. It is super deep footing, so it should be solid.

      Make sure your pole is plumb, But also could be with the backboard itself. Unless the whole pole wobbles, is your footer deep enough?

    No need to over cut the concrete like that. It looks crap. Use a 14 inch demo saw and it cuts fine through a 4 inch slab right to the corners. Then once you hammer the concrete out you can just tidy the inner corners up with a small Jack hammer

    You didn't show the assembly of the pole nor did you show how you put on the backboard. If you're going to show how to do it, show the real difficulty of the project. Because there is no way you hung that backboard by yourself 🤣

    • @TheRykerDane
      @TheRykerDane  3 роки тому +4

      Oh, sorry, I did the hardest parts. And since I already bought this from someone assembled all I had to do was put in the base plate and put on the backboard. But all you need is a truck to back up to the arms, and slide in 4 bolts to attach the backboard. Its pretty simple and I thought too simple to video it. Making the baseplate strong and level is the hardest part.

      @@TheRykerDane nice system man. The arms holding the backboard, when you install the backboard do you use flat metal washer and plastic flat washer in between the bolt ?
