I always like your videos.. I think your channel provides more indepth and detailed review along with explanation of almost all the features present in the vehicle. Other channels miss that detailing. However, I have one question specifically for this Tiago EV.. did you check how its performance and range affected with 4 persons sitting in car ?

Perfect city car for office goers. A good choice as a 2nd car too.
Small dimensions, ample space for 4, adequate range for multiple office trips, great build quality, Low NVH and ridiculously low cost of running and maintenance. Icing on the cake is the perfect pricing, at 9L this seems far better value to money proportion when compared to a petrol hatchback.
This will be a smash hit in the urban and suburban areas. The only downside is range as it cannot be used for outstation trips.
Currently EV can't be your only car
EV should be your primary everyday car
And a secondary petrol car for longer trips and emergency case

Also, unlike in ICE cars, electric car efficiency can be instantly calculated, just need 2-3 km of drive in various terrains and calculate using the wh consumption to project the averages. Yes, finally it is a matter of how good or bad you are with the modes and throttle.

@@GreenDriveIndia I am saying take the readings in the middle of the drive but the wh/km can't be totally out of the world.
Once we know the best and worst wh/km one can average it out. btw: I drive electric too and review it for others and do it all the time and it works.
@@nagki as of now ...sorry to say but it doesn't work for me as well as owners i know. No reliable figure for Nexon EV unless we drive 10 km. Because most starting energy gets wasted in initial run or car and ac.
@@GreenDriveIndia 10km is good enough, we are talking about the wh/km consumption and that figure won't and shouldn't drastically change, if it is then Tata has to revisit their telematics. Also, with batteries their SoC measurement is not precise and can vary for the first 2 kms, but not 10km. In any case you get the point I think, we don't need to drive for 50% SoC to figure the range is what I meant. One should be able to do intelligent guestimate even in short drives.

Bought tata tiago ev around 60 days ago. Was very happy with my decision until last week. This was when abruptly one day the car gave an error "HV critical alert" and didn't start. As soon as I googled the error I was surprised to see numerous articles, complaints, issues raised by tiago ev owners. I was completely shocked as it was highlighted by multiple owners that they got this error numerous times and some were even strangled in the middle of the road due to this issue as the car just won't start. My experience with the RSA is another nightmare which I won't mention here. My car is still at the dealership since last 3 days with no clear timelines or resolution informed to me yet. Wanted to highlight this to make the potential buyers aware of this issue as I wasn't aware of the same myself when I decided. Would this have been a deal breaker for me? 100% yes! I am not trying to influence anyone's decision, just want everyone to google the term "HV critical alert tiago" and you'll know for yourself.

This is a great car from Tata motors. However I am hoping they will push at least 35 kWh battery pack in upcoming Hatchback most probably altroz so that we can get 300 kms of real world mileage and if they manage to package it under 12 lakh it would be a blast 💥...

if home connetion is 1kwh and we took 7.2 kwh charger at home and tata motor is saying that you should have 10 kwh will that be possible to connect the 7.2 kwh in 1 kwh house connection

What is the effect on range while driving uphill?
Looks like the reviewer got around 130 wh/km during the course of the review? This equates to 190 km range for a 24kwh model, not bad, but not great efficiency either. Thanks for bringing us such detailed reviews.
Reviewer usually do many idle time with ac plus some sports mode.
@@GreenDriveIndia agreed but the car won't give more than 210 km if driven normally. Tough to achieve 100 wh/km in real world.

What a starting like star
Is it real in terms of all the features and plus/plus marketed what about the flip side ? Is it really practical for everyday considering EV charging, services, marker adaptation is still far fetched. Vibrations seem to be on a higher side, misses refinement.

There are now 60kw and 120kw chargers. How much KW maximum intake does Tiago EV do while charging?
18 kW for the 24 kWh (long range) version. tata people not focusing on the lower range model idk why.
for the medium range 19.2 kWh model, expect around 14 kW fast charging. (take 1-1.5 kWh as buffer, deduct buffer from installed capacity and take 80 percent of that as the final answer)
