Sunny really out here turning our *dreams of becoming a UA-cam millionaire* _a reality_ 🤧
Something that worked for me and seems to work especially when you have a small audience is having *engaging* videos with cards, polls, and thorough descriptions which all seem to really help your channel grow. 🚀

@@karenamestoy its not that hard (even though it seems like it is at first LOL) It took me a couple of tries to understand how to add cards and end-cards, but with a couple of tries (and fails lol) I think I got the hang of it now!
There's a lot of things like that that I have had to learn the hard way along the journey as a beginner (thank God for Sunny and Vanessa Lau, without people like them I don't know what I would do lol) It all comes with time! Is there anything in particular you are trying to learn? If you ever need help, I am always happy to share the things I have learned! :)

The problem is my niche is something like, searching online for funny videos, memes, playing random funny games sometimes. It's more of just like stuff that would make lots of people laugh and it's more random so it's hard to just pinpoint one specific niche for myself.

My biggest takeaway, as per usual, is PAYING ATTENTION to the keywords that work. I definitely made vlog-style videos for our channel last year and then realized my keywords that I used "teaching English in Cambodia" etc. helped me leap to the top of the search results on UA-cam. It felt intuitive to continue making "how to" videos on the topic. I purchased your UA-cam for Bosses course a little while ago and only just realized how important this lesson was from the get go. After watching this video and purchasing your program, I've taken away to really double down on those keywords to continue ranking on the first place. Thank you as always!

  • @CoachViva

Biggest takeaway: Combining low-competition keywords with high-searched keywords.
I know that the best thing is to have keywords that are both low-competition & high-searched, but I haven't really heard of this combination approach before where you basically concatenate 2+ things together.
On your "5 deadly mistakes" video, I mentioned that I'm transitioning towards doing more "series" based videos. One thing I was thinking about was that the series title can be a high-searched keyword while the individual episode title can be a low-competition keyword.
My only concern is that if you combine both low-competition with high-competition, would it hurt your impression-to-clickthrough rate? Because the high-competition part will still be shown to everyone in that red ocean and presumably most of them won't click because they don't identify with the low-competition keyword part of the title.

I feel like this video was made for me!! I've been struggling with these EXACT issues lately with my channel....I'm a very small channel but have been on YT since 2015. Most of my videos are health based, but I am transitioning my content to art and creativity, which has been a learning curve. I usually have ~200 views on a video, depending, but had a video blow up last year to 70,000 views and counting. Switching gears, learning the keywords and SEO is something I've been researching lately, and this video helps me more than you know!!!

So good and detailed! I have had a number of breakthrough videos over the years. Sometimes I successfully repeat the topic, but I appreciate you saying you can grow without a niche -- I make videos because I want to, not to be a slave to an algorithm/popularity/sensationalism. Also, I think a lot about the kind of audience a video will attract and whether I want to be serving that community or not. For example, I love to watch Law of Attraction videos to get motivated/put them on as background, but pretty sure I don't want to do that on my own channel because being a LoA coach/guru isn't a goal of mine. OTOH, would you recommend something like "6 ways LoA has helped me as an entrepreneur" (or as a musician, mom, whatever) as a potential breakthrough video without that meaning I have to then become a guru myself?

Biggest takeaway: stack keywords and combine keywords that aren't searched as much per month with ones that are searched highly per month. Great video, Sunny! Thank you. 😊

You’re going to need the persistence and self-motivation to become the best in your field. It’s not enough to produce good content - you’ve got to create the kind of content that your viewers can’t find anywhere else!
What are you passionate about? Who can your videos help? And why do you want to set up a UA-cam channel?
The best UA-cam channels are started by ordinary people who are committed to becoming extraordinary.

Hi. My biggest take away is not viewing my competitors as a threat but as an opportunity to learn from them by analyzing what makes their channel successful then try to copy their methods e.g. thumbnail design, use of keywords and content structure.
By winning this scholarship I would love to learn how to structure my videos and come out with consistent content and learn analytics.
    Thank you Sunny!

It's like you know what has been on my mind for the past two days (I want to change my niche, but I want to explore a few different ones that I love)!
*After finishing watching the video:* Your breakout videos are still within the sort of topics I'd expect someone who covers using UA-cam and Instagram to help create/grow your business or become an authority in a specific niche.
What would you advise somebody who is thinking about doing a topic pivot that's very different? This doesn't appear to be covered in your UA-cam course (yet) that I'm a member of. Most of my viewers aren't subscribers so I'm thinking I'll communicate with those that are subbed and let them know I'm thinking of changing my topics and experimenting, and I'll see how those new topic-videos get on with the titling advice in this video.
Thanks and have a wonderful day :)
