If you could give a fitting note in your descriptions, it would be a nice addition. I've ridden both vans and 32 in previous years. I found the vans felt very narrow compared to the the 32's.
Have last years model of the STW… I have a plate in my leg from fracturing it 16 year ago, regular boots and high top shoes bother me so I never wear em, the STW’s are the only boot that has not given me any trouble… best boot ive ever had! Cannot recommend enough
Rode the Infuse as my go-to boot for the last 5 years, super solid boot! Switched this season to the Verse Range, mainly for better splitboarding uphill travel support. Had the 32 Jones MTB and it was just way too stiff for my taste. It never really broke in.
I’ve been riding Vans for my past two boots. Verse, and now the Infuse. They’re the best boots I’ve ever had by a good margin. My only complaint is both of these models have some obvious wear points. But the verse held together for 3 seasons of 65+ day seasons. And the infuse are at 2.5 seasons now and starting to show some big time wear at the power straps. Other boots I’d only wear for 2 seasons tho, so I am overall getting more out of these.
Just ordered the Danny Kass boots I'm beyond excited! Double BOA, gaiters, smartwool, small footprint, freestyle flex - all the things on my checklist so I hope it lives up to expectations.
Hey, I’m leaning toward these boots, how are they? Have you got a chance to ride them. I’m having a hard time buying them cause there’s like no reviews
@@marioaraujo639Actually the order kept getting delayed, and at the time I needed new boots ASAP, so I cancelled and got a different pair instead. If you’re curious what I went with - Salomon Dialogue (Laced) and they are so good.
To be honest, it’s probably a good thing I backed out. I never actually tried them on (it was a preorder) but when looking for a faster replacement I went to the store and tried on a couple other Vans and realized they just don’t feel good. I tried on a few other brands too and realized I am a Salomon guy. They feel like armored pillows. I walked out with two pairs (Dialogue for daily driver as I mostly have fun with flat ground stuff, never hitting large jumps or anything like that). The second paid is a Salomon Malamute. The customizable flex is awesome, and they feel cozy and bulletproof at the same time. Great boots for sketchy conditions or more off piste riding.
@@IntrinsicSnow thank you for your input, yeah I don’t want to get them without trying them on, I work as a ticket scanner in the winter so I’m in my boots quite a lot which is why I need new boots my last pair of broke and the gators of the Vans appealed to me because being that long in snow, it’s very easy to get your feet soaked. My old boots broke in the top of the boot and so snow would get in, but if they aren’t comfortable then spending 8-12 hours in them would be terrible. I’ll look into the Solomons. I love my Solomon board. Thanks again for your response
Do i need to go half size down on the infuse ? seems like vans already go half size down but called it the same size as your normal vans shoe ? I pulled out the insole to measure along my normal shoe and its half size smaller. But i wonder if i should also go from 11.5 to 11 on my infuse boots .Thank you
I noticed the Maine decal on the laptop and then looked at your channel name. Had no clue who made the video til now.😅 I just called you guys the other day about nee boots hahah
The Danny Kass is what I want, but I really don’t do much park, mostly big trails and I want to do backcountry. Is this a good choice for me? I haven’t bought new snowboard boots in 15 years.
I’m in the same 15 year boat. I have some step ins that are like late 90s early to mid 2k with specific boots I’ve never seen around. I actually have two pairs of that one (oxygen) is the brand, and a pair of K2 clickers (not high back)
Anyone looking for price friendly should look at last years boots. I went to a store today, a cheap 32 was 199, down to 189 “for” me, while I got a 2023 $300 for around $125. No brainer.
i picked a 32 lashed (i wanted the santa cruz 32) because it came in my size and it was so stylish! but the liner is awful, i swapped it out with my old burton. the vans liner was better than both!
Why does a freestyle/park boot need a gaiter to keep your feet dry? You're doing laps in the park or pipe. You're not in deep backcountry pow. Makes no sense to me. ESPECIALLY since the same boot has those holes/vents in the shell to make them breathable.
Might be the best boot with all the features you want if it doesn't fit your feet there is no point. Boots are so personal. It's nice that you describe them but you can't say they are the best. What works for me might not you.
My experience with Vans infuse has been awful, I would suggest other manufacturers. They lazily construct the boa with common tangles internal and weaker materials. My boa failed in under 14 days use already this year. Customer service sucks at vans for snow, they don't stand behind products. If boot works, it's pretty nice..buy from a good retailer for your return. Also the white color is an odd choice for a man's boot. Reminiscent of 2000s bling rap air force ones or confused teens. Why ditch the muted, timeless black?
Don't buy vans, it's a waste of money. My infuse, after 15 days of use, the boa broke and no one is responsible. The service and quality are horrible for boots of that price.
Never ever Vans!!! I had top of the line boots and after 5 years the entire sole detached. No warranty, no solution from vans and 400eur trashed. Boots always store in the apartment
Definitely need a full review of those Danny Kass boots!😍

Were the infuses the best? I might buy em.
Lucky, mine made it 14 days before the boa locked up.

@@mikebelansky2713 did you send them in for warranty? The boa has a lifetime warranty on it. Everything else doesnt
Video felt very much like they were just fed lines to read. Would love to see what they thought from an actual wear test.

True to size?
I will be ordering the infuse within the next month or so. In most shoes im a 10.5 in very few i wear 11. How do these run?????

im new into snowboard and I will buy the infuse boots from vans and do you think I can drive my manual car with these ?
I've never had/seen any boot that you would want to drive further than a half mile in...especially clutch!
No
Lol
i think snowboots are not for walking/driving while going to the mountain i guess haha @@leggomybagel2954
you don’t drive in your boots you change into them when you get to the mountain

I dig the white. Definitely not a confused teen nor whatever you meant by the bling rap comment. 😂 spray paint em black 🤙
Vans has obviously spent a lot on advertising these last 2-3 years.
Nitro el Mejor, Burton Photon? there are definitly better boots out there than those
