I had the 2022 Vans Auro Pro in the Blue and Brown colorway which I thought looked awesome, but holy cow did they hurt my ankle. The boa system would run right over my medial malleolus (inner side of ankle bone) and just tear the tendons to shreds and bruise my bone. Got new boots immediately and the pain was immediately gone. It was some of the most excruciating pain too.
I bought the Exact same Auras last year, fit great and maybe it was a placebo affect or my skill was building and I was really good with my carving and hitting accelerator on a damn flat top Rental. I came back this year stronger than ever without knowing it would be. 2nd year with the Boots and getting my first board ever. Took a couple of runs to get warmed up and then getting the courage to hit the park features on Bear Mtn within Learning curve and Easy Street. Funny enough I saw about 5 - 7 people wearing the auras I didn’t know how popular were they!! Some guy complimented on the boots and boom the exact same boots 😂. It was nice coming back to the mountains boarding with my friends and getting clips and hitting features. Really great boot for beginner - Intermediate/Park. Had to get the WTAPS X Vans kit up too!!
Bought a pair of k2 ortons this season, they felt amazing at first but now that they’re stretched out, they’re definitely too big. May have to size back down to a 10 instead of 10.5. Find I have to crank them too tight and then it cuts off circulation in my foot
Do i need to go half size down on the infuse ? seems like vans already go half size down but called it the same size as your normal vans shoe ? I pulled out the insole to measure along my normal shoe and its half size smaller. But i wonder if i should also go from 11.5 to 11 on my infuse boots .Thank you
Vans invanado OG sucks. Wore it for couple minutes and hurts my feet/leg. Terrible support due to poor liner design and material. The shoes itself is too wide. BOA strategy is inefficient, like some engineer overthink and combined BOA and speedlace to hold the tongue/heel down. Got K2 overdraft and the intuition liner forms to the heel w/o compressing the side knuckles

Same !
Vans not making size 14 this year is wack
Is the overdraft still a decent medium flex all mountain?

I have trouble taking this review seriously because you only mentioned positive things about the boots.

go to a shop and try boots
I am 10.5, and I bought Vans infuse 10.0 for a snug fit 👌🏽
I wear 13. Couldn't find a Vans that was comfortable at all. Ended up with a k2 hanford. So far its been great
Vans in general not making many of there most popular models. is kind of stupid. infuse is near impossible to find in 13. In my part of the woods
Looking closer in to this Vans sizes is shit this year goes straight from 30cm to 32 No 3,5 31 or 31.5 🤮🤮
K2 are the worst theu hurt my carf so damn bad....
I broke my ankle in the K2 darko's. That plastic piece is retarded.
