Hey, Buddie! I finally got my 10 second lap and was politely asked not to return until i fulfill their requirements. No exhaust twirler, no leaf blower, no nitrus and no tricks... just muscle and pump gas. bucket list number 32 complete.

Where did the Dorman Freeze Plugs come from? Sorry if you mentioned this in your video, I didn't catch it. Nice Build, following from FB post you made about FrozenBoost A2W thread.
@@OverydeMotorsports Wow. Did you reach out to Dorman by chance? Just crazy for it to be that far off from their own posted specs. Awesome work man, Love the channel.
I always put permatex on the block side for the expansion plugs; after it sets, you will have a nice solid bead on the coolant side. Make sure the coolant doesn't freeze or you will crack the block since there are no expansion plugs;
It’s always the little details that can come back to haunt you. Was you using the EBay/ Amazon Evil fuel fittings and fuel line? I just purchased the -8 an $75.00 kit with the 20 ft line. The fittings are decent, but the fuel line is crap! I compared it to the Russel fuel line that I’m getting ready to install for a return line on my car. The Evil brand is super thin and flimsy compared to the Russle. I needed fuel fittings and I figured why not just check it out and do a comparison between the two. Glad you caught that issue with the freeze plugs.
Yessir all evil energy stuff. I have had good luck with it before but not this time. Question for you tho. Using Russel line and whatever fittings what did it cost to do an entire fuel system? I am kinda trying to see what the cost difference is between bmrs and just normal stuff
@@OverydeMotorsports I’m running carburetor on my car. I run VP95 race fuel. The evil -8 an kit came with 10 fittings and two double sided hose clamps. Four straight, two 45, two 90, two 180 degree fittings, and 20 ft of -8 a braided black hose for $75.00 for everything, ordered from Amazon. I just ordered the Russel 20ft -8 a braided fuel line from Jegs and I paid $150.00 just for the hose. I’m running black fittings, so all Russel fittings just for my return line, you’re talking easy $225.00 on a 86 Foxbody. I worked in a machine shop for about 10 years machining and building race engines before going back to college and finishing up my engineering degree. So I got a crazy discount on parts from Competition Products, VSI, PBM, and Motorville. I’ve got boxes of new an fittings. I’ve got so much SBF racing parts that I bought up over the years new at shop prices. The retail markup is insane from shop prices. I believe I was paying $5.00 for a Russel-8 an 90 degree fitting back then and it retailed for around $10.00-$15.00. Today I believe they’re $20.00 each. My whole fuel system on my car would easily cost $1,000 minus the ZEX nitrous kit. I’m running the ZEX parameter plate nitrous kit. It’s adjustable from 50-300 shot. So we’re talking easy $2,000 with nitrous kit and lines, solenoid brackets, regulator etc. now throw in the Proform 750 race carburetor, now we’re pushing close to $2700.00 at today’s prices. I’m just grateful for the fact that I built my car from the ground up myself. I did all the machine work, welding and fabrication, electrical harnesses…everything, except for the transmission and balancing the rotating assembly. I’ve been watching some UA-cam videos on Evil energy products and figured I’d check it out and compare the difference between top brand vs these Chinese spinoffs. Hope this helps.
Man I’d already be swapping back to the LS😂 Naw it’s just a true Ford now but I’m sure it’s gonna be a beast. I’m a GM freak and I’ll admit that Coyote looks great in there.
Nice job Nate! I approve of that fix!

There are 2 different water pumps for a Gen 2. Depending on the ribs.
I did see that too. And some are 4 bolt pulleys vs 3 bolt.
@@OverydeMotorsports I ran into this fiasco a couple weeks ago on a friend ls car lol
Interesting!
You’re the third person I’ve seen have this problem with the plugs. But I definitely like (and trust) your fix the best!
Thanks man! Not a fan of those plugs at all! They are not fun to install
That’s interesting what did the others do to fix it

Awesome job can't wait to see the numbers

I don’t have a single ptfe fuel line in my entire car lol. I hate it and won’t use it. I’d love to redo it all in brown and miller this winter though.
