She is a very good teacher with passion, easy to understand, and very thorough, I have seen hundreds of the same teacher but no one can compete with her way of teaching. My 22 string harp is coming tomorrow. I took lessons my freshman year in high school, 1951. I absolutely loved it, but my dad got transferred. He wouldn’t get me a harp. I was a violin major in college, a piano minor. I took up a Yari Alvarez with beautiful deep tones. It got too big for me to play. I tried to cheaper harp but finally couldn’t play it either anymore. I’m 86 years old have been called a psalmist by a worship leader. We both got many songs in that church. To make a long story short, I long to worship God with a harp and play and sing facing my great grandchildren. I have 25 of them. I know this is long, but I just wanted to share with somebody that might understand. Tomorrow begins the tuning. my fiddle is in the shop since I didn’t play it for several years. I’ll be working on both the harp and the fiddle. It’s a great sounding fiddle, full and rich. I hope my harp sounds the same-full and rich. It has 22 strings and is apparently a good quality harp.

I'm one of those people who love having a try on many different instruments. I can play recorder, piano, clarinet, little bit of guitar and I'm learning the harp. I tried flute, piccolo, saxophone and violin too.

That's awesome. I was listening to Mozart's Harp/Flute Concerto C Major and decided, "How is a harp figured out anyway?" haha. NIce job playing all those instruments. I dreamed I played a clarinet recently, not sure why lol

This is my very first time playing anything at all, although I have made a few attempts with my Native American flute. I haven’t really played a song as such, but have just enjoyed experimenting with all the different sounds to make up a random tune. This lesson has been so beneficial to me! I feared I’d never get the alphabet but you’ve made it seem so easy and fun.

I have played the flute at school (like 45 years ago 🙃). I always wanted to play an instrument and in September (2022) I bought an electrical guitar and a bass guitar. Sadly I didn't get to practice a lit, until a month ago. I am now vividly playing the bass and that goes pretty well.
My GF has played the harp a bit roughly 5 years ago. We both bougth a harp today. She has a 34 string lever harp, and I got myself a 24 string electrical harp.
I've played piano for 30 years, flute for 5, violin for 2, but I've longed to play harp for 19 years. I'm so excited to begin, and I'm so glad I found your channel.

I play a Kalimba but it´s a rather easy instrument with no real knowledge about music notes needed etc.

To answer your question, yes! I do play some other instruments, to list them, they are trombone, marching baritone, and the piano. I randomly decided to look into harps because I thought they looked sooo cool and sounded very pretty. I was so shocked to see that I could pick up a nice beginner one for about 100 bucks! I’m gonna buy one and watch all these videos to get started c:

I have 34strings harp and enjoy practicing 2 or 3 days a week.
I also have degital piano, flute, sansin which is played in Okinawa and so on.

To be honest I'm really interested in learning the harp because it's one of the most traditional Irish instrument and I really love the sound it produces and how it is played. I also play the ukulele. I was learning about harps today in music class and now I really want to learn how to play one. The thing is my parents wouldn't really buy me one, so basically I'm watching your videos so I get the idea of how to play it so the next time when I see someone with a harp, I would ask them if I could try. I'm basically watching your class and pretending I have a harp on my hand plucking the strings. I wonder if I would ever be able to play one in the future!
I am tempted to watch all of your videos, but I’m going to be obedient and watch them one by one for learning purposes. I want to learn to worship my Yahweh in a whole different realm💚
Actually Im buying This heart for my fifth child, she’s 10 y now, but yes, I played the Piano and the cornet, we also got a flute at school here and I had so much fun and great time playing instruments, passing it down the line, but after this video, I might want my own harp too 🤗

I've been playing flute since I was 8 years old. I was a French horn major in music school. Along the way I learned to play clarinet, saxophone, mellophone, trumpet, fife, recorder, and bowed psaltery.
My first harp was delivered today, and I'm going to use your videos to learn proper techniques because I know the value of a proper solid foundation.
I've also looked over your sheet music shop, and will be buying a few of the beginner pieces, as the ones in my instruction books aren't nearly as nicely arranged.
I have a 22 string harp, ranged from G3 to G6, so some of your arrangements will require going up an octave on both hands. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents!

This should be a fun journey. I am a classically trained trumpet player (I also am beginner-intermediate on trombone and French Horn) who ended up going into composition, and now I compose music for films and video games. Today I was given a 29-string harp by an old classmate of mine, and I’d like to learn how to play it at least a little bit so that I can use it in my recordings and other music projects.

I've been a heavy metal guitarist and a bassist since I was a teenager (I am middle aged now). I can also kinda get what I want out of keyboard, mandolin, and feadóg, but I don't play any of those nearly as well. I'm pretty enthusiastic about my new harp though, so maybe I'll get pretty good at it too (I hope I do). It might even finally get me to learn how to sight read sheet music, ha

I played the sax 🎷 in high school. Tenor was my favorite.
My harp is a 19 string lap harp (no levers) by the Early Music Shop. I have previously played (and still play) a Lute (13 strings/7 courses) and earlier still the Flute. Though not enough breath (asthma) to play a Lute any longer. I've wanted to play the harp since I was 3 years old.

I don’t have a harp and I’m not really interested of learning to play on it, I just love how it sounds and I wondered if it’s Hard to play on it so I watched two of your videos and I just want to tell you that you’re a great teacher and you’re so nice! You speak to your audience even though you don’t even know them and they’re not really in front of you and still you’re so nice and patient and I just love it.
