Man, Brett has some seriously strong fingers. First LH pizz, then guzheng, now harp. And Eddy has such a good ear and impressive memory. A formidable duo, and a beautiful instrument.
They've tried to play more than 30 instruments over the last few years, including strings, winds and percussion. They absolutely could start an orchestra ! 😄
When I saw Tiana immediately her violinists roast "What's with the hickey, trying to create illusion of a love life?" pop in my mind and I cracked at the very beginning.
As a harpist, I feel so represented :D It was fun watching Brett and Eddy learn my instrument! Also, this is kinda unrelated but this last Spring, I got 2nd place in a concerto competition and this fall I get to perform the first movement of Lyra Angelica with my youth symphony! TwoSet inspred me to practce and compete for the first time and I just want to thank you guys for all your content and hard work :)
Tijana really knows how to teach two "sometimes kid, sometimes grandpa" guys who looked so disappointed when she said they're gonna play Pachelbel's Canon in D

My sister won a harp scholarship to the Eastman School of Music. She became the harp faculty at the University of Colorado-Denver, first call union harpist in Denver, and played with the Colorado-Denver Symphony Orchestra. Also had a successful harp studio and had 17 harps for the students to use. She just recently retired. Her husband is a retired, after 34yrs, cellist with the Colorado-Denver Symphony Orchestra. Also retired principal cellist after 25yrs with the Colorado Central City Opera Orchestra.
I can't wait to share this with my wife! She plays the Celtic (folk) harp and I've shared many TwoSet videos with her including ones about learning other instruments. I know she'll enjoy this one.

Okay; TS learning Canon in D on the harp has made my year (except it didn't sound anything like Canon in D, LOL). I love how they always PLAY Canon in D after saying how much they hate it. And, last but not least, I adore these two, but I have never seen two such delicate men in my life!
It is so cute how most people get afraid when they are told to tilt the Harp, like they are worried it was gonna fall down on them or something :') but you did an amazing job! The posture might actually be one of the hardest/exhausting things playing the harp (at least it was for me when I started to learn this instrument) but you did very well I think :) (I am curious how they would react to a triple harp or a double harp)

I wish they make a series of these "We Try Learning (Instrument) in One Hour". Its amazing to see how the two of them learn relatively fast! Also, as a non-musician, these videos gives me a lot of appreciation to the instrument and the amount of effort of the musicians put in playing them.

I need to take classes with her I really love how patient she is, how she doesn't raise her voice when you're doing/playing something you can't quite do, my elementary Orchestra teacher would raise his voice and his patience was not it, especially when I have very high anxiety. But for now I'll focus on the violin and next up harp!!

As someone who teaches Guitar and Piano, I have often had students who think it's easy to learn another instrument once you have learnt one.

During PreCovid my family used to go to the Renaissance Festival in our state and there was a woman who played the Harp live in a few of the outdoor pavilions. It's one of the most fascinating things to watch and It makes beautiful music🥰
I laughed so hard at the “you play the harp with 4 fingers” part. I’m a harp player and I find it hilarious how people that play piano or violin are extremely confused by the 4 finger rule. (Also, this is the most I’ve laughed in multiple weeks. You did really well for just beginning though.)

Just for clarification harp isn't only elegant instrument. There is atonal music for it and you can even drum on it.

I laughed so hard at the “you play the harp with 4 fingers” part. I’m a harp player and I find it hilarious how people that play piano or violin are extremely confused by the 4 finger rule. (Also, this is the most I’ve laughed in multiple weeks. You did really well for just beginning though.)
I took a harp lesson once at a summer music festival and it was honestly so much fun. Harp is definitely one of those “looks easier than it actually is” instruments
The harp and organ teacher (and head of music) at my school got frostbite on his fingers while hiking Everest. He got better but just imagine not being able to play your instruments for a year I would die
As a harpist I have to say: You guys did pretty well! 😊 Also, I have the same harp model (do you call it like that? :D) like Tijana, also in black, and that‘s kinda making me proud 😂
