I use my kwikset tryout keys to unlock cylinder then rekey to new key. Some people use the camera tool but I like my tryout keys

lol do you try out 200 keys before it works?

@@nosleep6829 usually it’s the first 50 to 100 but only takes about 5 minutes, max time to go thru 256 keys is 15 minutes

I like the Q Tactical decoder the knobs are easily bypassed the less inexpensive knobs the tailpiece will prevent a spindle attack.

And what do you do if you can't take the cylinder out? I have their padlock, and it was keyed to my house keys, but I've tried every key I have and none work

Be nicer if there was a clean way to pick it that doesn't destroy the lock..
