WHAT TYPE OF SCANNER?

My security light is on on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500 ever since my battery died and I had it parked for over a year I'm no longer able to start it I tried to relearn it does not work everything comes on every light on the headlights work the only thing that doesn't lock my doors that's the weird thing but other than that that's itcould you help me figure this out I spent $15 at the dealer just to get my truck back key and now it won't do it again it won't start

Just came across this video and had a question. I recently bought a 2014 Chevy Equinox and the key fob is missing the unlock button. So I have to use the key to lock and unlock. I’ve tried ordering new key fobs and just switching out the key part, but it hasn’t worked because of new remotes having a different size button. Do all Chevy Equinox’s have the same key code? And if so, would you be able to find mine? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Thanks!

Okay on my 2007 Accord VP. The lock cylinder failed stuck. But I managed to get the key in and start it. I have not removed the key. And the key currently turns. Can you help me find the easy to way to replace the lock cylinder with a working key.

This is a load of carp since when do you turn a key clockwise to open a car or van door and if you were to take the reading it would be wrong as you picked it the wrong way

I replaced the ignition lock cylinder and housing on my 99 k2500 and it still doesn't start . The next thing is the passlock module, does this hack work if the module is bad?

Replacing the cylinder isn't the easy way to fix that that's like the last thing people want to do to fix that

I have a 99 GMC Sierra 4.3 liter my clutch switch went out so I wired in a start button the two purple wires and now the security light comes on and it starts and dies and sometimes it stays running 🤷

I'm not knowledgeable in locksmithing , is it true that to keep accountability and track of chip keys being authorized and programmed , the vehicle maker charges you every time you authorize that machine to program the chip key . I always wondered if this is true , or can you program as you please without paying the auto maker for the validation.

This is likely my problem. Dead battery. Car sat for a month and a half, now I have they flashing green key and no start. I have hondata kpro and the ability to disable the immobilizer. If I disable the immobilizer via kpro do you think it will start? Excellent content great explanation.
