But at that price it will be shit single amp per unit for each two speakers. In a decent studio monitor there will be bi-amps one for each speaker and a very tight crossover to ensure accuracy between speakers. You can't do that for less than £100 per speaker. I have a pair of the Eris 3.5's and would not ever want to use them as 'studio' or 'reference' monitors. more like a glorified a/v or MM speaker. i am using 3.5 eris pair with an old logtiech sub lying around and very happy with it for listening flac from Justin beiber to Gojira,playing games. n watching 5.1 movies! 1000 times better then multimedia or bookshelf speakers.
I love my Presonus 3.5s, I think it's a myth that their bass response is poor. To my ear they slightly enhance lower frequencies like especially drums and bass tones. Drums are the hardest part of music production so I love this character. You will hear superb drum rolls and the real sound of acoustic toms jumping out! A great choice for your general playback in smaller flats and apartment setups. Perhaps a bit of semipro mixing as well if you cross check them against Senheisser headphones.

I never used any of these but by reading from the specs on these pair it said that it go as low as 80Hz while this video shows that it can get as low as 50Hz.. As for my thinking, that should be decent enough for Trap genres. But just to be more precise, i guess it is a best practice to always check the bass from a good pair of headphones every here and there.. Cheers!

Please help, my speakers have the blue led light on but there is no sound, I reconnected all of the wires but it's still the same. If I leave them on for a while they randomly start playing and then after a while it does the same thing again.
I got huge Samson monitors next to the television ,i bought them for my studio setup but are way to big and the bass landed in the neighbours room instead of my ear.if you have only a little room ore a studio ,take these cause they will surprise you how much volume they put out.the thing i thought about that huge Samsons that i thought i needed the biggest speakers but in fact it didnt work.
I got the presonus eris e5 as my first studio monitors a few months ago they are amazing but there is a slight white noise when music isn't being played

To solve that I add the Presonus 8" sub with it's built in crossover filters and the combo sounds fantastic just have to get the right balance to mix properly. Sounds great for movies and mixing/music. I am currently eyeing the sale going on for the Eris E5 XTs though as they would have an overall full ranging sound for the fairly large room I am in.

I had these Eris 3.5 and upgraded to KRK Rokit 5s. There is no comparison. The KRK’s are WAY, WAY better. Of course, they’re also considerably more expensive.
got these cyber Monday years ago, paired with audio technical headphones. The only issue is a weird little rattle on the left speaker but it's subtle. Highly recommend them.

ive had them for about a year now and i love them. i think im gonna ad the 8 inch sub though they dont quite translate the bass the way youd like to get mixes to pop
If you search youTube for "Presonus 3.5 vs (the other speaker here)" you can hear A-B tests. Listen with good headphones and you know exactly what you're going to get.
I think I blew min I’m having a seriously bad time with them right now. Audio still runs but it has dropped in quality substantially. I don’t know what’s going on
I got them not that long ago, was a big jump from the old really cheap speakers I had and they’re insane - highly recommend them!

I would recommend using these as a second source. Get at least a 5 inch monitor so you can really know how the 808s are hitting.

I think he meant powered instead of passive. The first cable shown is the power cable and you can see the power button on the speaker.

If the budget allows id recommend going for a 5 inch reference monitor. You’ll always get better mixes on monitors than headphones.

Hey man, nice work as usual. I was looking at these as a pair of secondary reference monitors. Wanted to know would their be a big difference between these and the Donner Studio Monitors 3. ive had them for about a year now and i love them. i think im gonna ad the 8 inch sub though they dont quite translate the bass the way youd like to get mixes to pop

I think I blew min I’m having a seriously bad time with them right now. Audio still runs but it has dropped in quality substantially. I don’t know what’s going on
