Hey! Thanks man! Making the videos I'm always thinking if this something I would watch by myself? For sure I would not check 4-6Hrs long videos, and you will have a lot of questions if this would be only spedup without comments :) But still I'm pretty new on UA-cam and learning new things everyday hehe
Thankyou for showing this, i recently send you a message about me having trouble with the handpainting because i'm colorblind. This already gave me great insights. Keep up the amazing work man!
Ohh... That was you! Glad I could help a bit, mate! In the next videos I will show couple more grayscale technics with adding gradients in PS, and with hpoly baked maps :)
@@aleph-tav Start with free content on YT, following by some courses. When you are more to it, can go for mentorship or more hard learning some game styles you wanna go for, trying to match that style pixel to pixel.
@@ZugZugArt i bought your hero stone course….it feels a bit heavy for someone new….I really look forward to the sword tutorial you are redoing - think a single asset painting is what I need - a complete scene is overwhelming lol. I really love the shovel youtube.
I have both, but for some reason I'm much slower on the Display tablet. I use Wacom Intuos Pro Large and Cintiq 22hd. My preference goes to pen tablets, but damn with display tablets you instantly look like a God Pro Artist 😁👌
@@ZugZugArt yea I've been sticking with pen tablets for a while now but I'm not sure if suddenly switching to a display will have any positive impact on my work
@@asterixus It's not like gonna increase quality or speed of your works... I would say it's more of your own preference. If you do a lot of Art, worth trying display tablet, maybe it can make you happier :)
@@aleph-tav Because you don't use substance for League of Legends and World of Warcraft style. It's more painterly and handpainted :) Sometimes it's alright to make a base in substance, but you gonna overpaint it all hard. Substance goes S tier duo to count of projects and how popular it is.
I'm so grateful for grayscale handpainting content, thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting! Some good motivation for me! :)
full texturing process, what a treasure!
Hope it will be useful for you! :)
Love the format of these videos, and thanks for not speeding it up too much where we cant follow along but its also not 4 hrs long.

How to paint additive and subtractively?
I'm newbie and I want to know how you paint without changing any color settings.
Answered at Discord :)
This is awesome! Could you cover the human skin process as well someday?
Hmmm... That wasn't in my plans, but sounds very interesting to paint! Maybe we can do that after the Environment series! Fur, skin, hair and so on :)
That would be great! Ive learned quite a lot from your channel and can't wait for what's to come, regardless of content.
Do you use a pen display tablet for texturing? Or just a pen tablet?

If substance painter is S tier why do you use 3dCoat so much?
