I managed to get the 500 done for the first time! Was a proper struggle but managed to get the sessions done. Although cheated a bit and did some on the turbo due to the weather haha! Great video mate 🙌🏼
@@mhb.trains nice work man, it wasn’t easy out there! I know some people had a moan about being able to do indoors k’s but you’re still riding, especially when the weather is sh*t, gotta do what you gotta do! 🤝🏼
I tried and failed, but I have thought up some workarounds. 1) Ride the entire 12 days of Christmas. 2) Use the metric system 500 KM = 310 miles. 3) Combine 1 & 2 and hit the trail. Happy trails!
I like those! I believe most people only do the metric version anyway. Riding the 12 days of Christmas is arguably a better idea, consistency is key in most cases 💪🏼
Can’t argue with that! It’s definitely a big commitment., even for me and like you say lots of hours on the bike that could be better spent with your family. The weather is never usually that great either. 🌧️
@@TomMazzoneCycling I just think that I sacrifice enough with the family to get my training in throughout the year - the last thing I would do is make it interrupt Christmas as well. All the power to those that do though. Also, nice jacket. I have the rain version in the same colour and its great.
Definitely makes sense! Save the time for summer months. Really liking the LeCol kit, some great deals to be had on the website atm too. Maybe see you around later in the year!
Let me know if you managed to get the Festive 500 done this year or was it too much to cram in around other commitments?
😍💪🥇
Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
Ciao Daniele! I hope to visit again soon 👋 🇮🇹
@@TomMazzoneCycling Ciao Tom da Pesaro 🇮🇹
I’ve done it twice. Takes my training to the next level. Worth it !
I’m hoping for the rest of us that you’ve done it twice, ever… and not 1000km last week 😅💪🏼

Festive 500 = lots of time on the bike in the worst of the weather when its a lovely opportunity for family time - not for me!

Yes, 2 years running.
Nice work! I was away last year but I remember there being a storm in the UK? Extra kudos for that 🤝🏼
