A trick when layering is to feel cold when you start. If you are toasty and warm when you step out of the house then you have too many layers. I've learnt this the hard way when I used to commute 25 miles from Lewisham to Feltham!
i would do that if i was able Trouble is my job is driving a van, ive probably driven past your office in a scary big van. I try to be nice to cyclists, as i'm a fair weather weekend cyclist, usually on an bike packing trip somewhere far from London. What distance did you do in miles? as i'm old school. And where in Essex did you start from? its a big County
It’s about 14 miles each way to the office. Great that you give cyclists a wide pass. Im the same when I’m driving a car. To be fair I had a great experience on the ride, with only one very close pass from a car, not caught in the video.
Nice little run my friend and you wasn’t mugged by goons on scooters which is a bonus …Do you live in the NW but have an office in London which you have to visit ? Tarmac doesn’t seem to bad down there either.
@ I think it was your riding in Yorkshire and the Lake District that made me think you were living in The North west and commuting to London for work .Looking forward to your next mooch around Best Mike🚴♂️🥇

@@bodmacity very true a lesson learned on that ride too !

I'm Essex, so to the east and work in east London, so don't go NW at all.

@@ronniebiggs4026 I do spend a decent amount of time in the North West. About one weekend a month. I love it there.
@@ronniebiggs4026 Ah I see what you mean, sorry when you said commute from NW I thought you meant north west London :D
@ And the air is cleaner and people more friendly no doubt?👌🎥🚴♂️
Your commute would be safer if you keep your recording device out of your hand and actually concentrate on what's going on around you.
it would also make for a far less interesting video. there is a balance to these things.
