- The bladder tank burst the bladder, apparently. Those tanks are sealed so I can't see inside, but that's really the only logical reason for what I'm seeing. The simplest cure was to install a new one. Cait's Reef got a long-overdue water change, which makes me feel better. The ATS got cleaned out, the Versa got calibrated so the trickle rate looked normal again, and I picked up some more frozen fish food at Frank's Tanks because I was out.

I came for the posters, I stayed for the info
I save the rubber gaskets off my sediment and carbon filters and reuse them on my refillable DI cartridges, when the cartridges fill with water the old gasket is leaking thru letting the air escape. You can increase the water pressure from the bladder tank by increasing the air pressure. By DOT regulations they can only be shipped with 12 or 15 psi pressure.
U should totally do your reef diary in vertical resolution and post them on Instagram Reels, UA-cam Shorts, Facebook Reels & Tiktok. They can be long up to a 1min and that way u can do one video for all platforms!
What brand water changer (gravel vac) is that?
It was custom made and very durable.
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately and I was curious, are you still using a biopellet reactor to control your nitrates?
No, but I did use them for a couple of years.
@@melevsreef can I ask why you stopped? What are you using now if anything?
@@eddiesaiz9672 I wanted to try other methods.
