Those pipes are crazy- I bought a very nice Sears Roper-made tractor with an Onan twin on it, many years ago, from an estate. It would not run right, and it was always starved for fuel-after much head scratching, I found the problem-when the carb was machined, the drill point into the seat cavity was not deep enough, and when the seat was screwed in, it blocked the fuel from entering the cavity-I used it for twenty years-and it ran well when I gave it away-great video!

Great videos as usual, I got my little Stihl MS 180 C chainsaw running thanks to your videos, got that bog down conquered. Runs great and I'm 'upping' my game on small engines. It's great to see a video on an older style, myself I would have been flipping my wig on about step two but you just have to keep going through all the trouble shooting. Without this reference people like me get lost, thanks again and have a good one...

16:55 A bad/weak condenser can also cause the points to pit. It's the job of the condenser to stop the arcing of the points.

Case 446 with a B43 Onan. Hydrostatic drive with a 2-speed differential. Not a Lawnmower, its a miniature tractor. Most have 3-point hitches just like a full sized tractor and you could get just about any attachment you could want. A few years ago, I restored the 1979 my Dad bought brand new. 41 years old and runs like a watch. Ingersoll still makes this same basic design tractor if you want one. They sell for about $10,000 today. These have a cult following and are highly collectable. Awesome piece of equipment to have around an Orchard or greenhouse operation

Great video! I have that Onan engine on my 1960s Gravely. I rebuilt it last year. Onan parts are very expensive. Nice Fix!

those points looked like the old GM points that you could set the dwell with a spring loaded allen headed tool....I loved them types...put em in, turn the screw, smooth it out, all done
