Just discovered your videos. Glad i did. My crotchet skills are limited. But i was able to follow your video. I agree with others...very well explained and easy to follow.
I've always been a knitter but decided to learn how to crochet from UA-cam during lock-down. I can't use my middle finger to hook the yarn like all the videos show so it's great to find a tutor who holds the yarn as I do. Looking forward to making this hat before moving on to the matching jacket. Will then check out your other videos.
I really love how great your directions are. I really appreciate it. I was able to make about four sweaters so far and hats. I’m so grateful for your video. Thank you again you are truly amazing. I really appreciate you. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for sharing this. You are very clear on your instructions and this has been a joy to make. I am doing lots of them for our local maternity hospital.
I just found your channel. I’m so happy. I have been looking for a DK weight baby beanie. The combination of the yarn and 5mm hook makes the project so soft and squishy. You have a gift of making beautiful items so easy and uncomplicated. I’m making the booties to match the hats I finished. I’m definitely going to try a cardigan.
Thank you have just finished this little jacket and hat , I love the hat so easy ,and looks so old fashion. Thank you again for your time in helping us .x
Lovely thanks so much it's so sweet and will go. With the cardigan I am making that you just did, very well explained great teacher, Love your channel, 💜💜💜
Thank you so much, love you and your tutorial and your beautiful voice and styleof teaching. I follewed the pattern and get wonderful result. God bless you.
I made this ever so cute beanie hat for my baby granddaughter in a size newborn, I made it in a an ivory color and added a cute pink bow on the side, its absolutely beautiful,,, now she’s six months old and I want to make a bigger size, I’ll be using a thicker baby yarn and larger size hook.. Also making the cute cardigan . Thank you so much for your lovely easy to follow tutorial.. I’m happy I came across your channel .. 💕💐💕
Brilliant video tutorial 🤗 This is the first time I have ever crocheted a hat and I did it and loved the experience. Thank you so much for such a great crochet lesson. I just purchased the Baby Crochet Cardigan pattern, which I will crochet next.
Beautiful hat, well explained 👍🏿👍🏿 thanks for teaching with great love n patiently,God bless you with lots and lots of success.I have subscribed your channel, love you from India New Delhi..
Made the shell cardigan with different shells for 4 babies. This hat is awesome. The front post line gives a great impact. I added crochet flowers too.
Absolutely love this pattern. Really struggled with round 4. If I started with 36 stitches and increase after every 4th stitch, it means increasing 7 times which means 43 stitches? I tried again increasing after every 5th stitch and increase 6 times. Voila, 42 stitches.
You will have more, you can add rows before you stop the crown to make it bigger, just add another stitch between the increase then add more rows without increase
Maybe you crochet quite loose, try a smaller hook I am sure it will come out the right size. I checked with my testers and they all produced newborn size, but they usually adjust hooks to their own tension. Hope that helps

gorgeous ! thank you
Hi thank you for sharing this lovely pattern but may i know what type of yarn did you use for this tutorial?
Double knit yarn
Have u a written pattern please ?
I added the extra row to make it a bit bigger. Is this row still part of the total 9 rows or should I have 10.
You will have more, you can add rows before you stop the crown to make it bigger, just add another stitch between the increase then add more rows without increase
Thanks very much .. beautiful
Thank you too!
Beautiful
Thank you
Well the hat I made as instructed except i used a smaller hook and it is too big for my newborn niece. Her head measures a bit under 10”.
I have a smaller hat for premature babies on the channel, this one is for a newborn of average size 😁
She is a newborn. Weighed almost 7 lbs but very big for her head
Maybe you crochet quite loose, try a smaller hook I am sure it will come out the right size. I checked with my testers and they all produced newborn size, but they usually adjust hooks to their own tension. Hope that helps
I wish the exolainations were a little slower for beginners, especially the shell part.
If you click the cog and adjust the speed it might help as you can slow the video down :) Thanks for your feedback :)
Where is pattern for cardigan ,can u help
