I'm in year 11 and I've just started my mock exams on monday and i did my geography exam on Tuesday and it was so hard time wise aswell so I truly get where your coming from

I got: Maths: 85﹪ English language: 91﹪ English Literature: 78﹪ Science Combined: 71﹪ French (Higher): 68﹪ History:81﹪ Health and Social Care: 95﹪ Computer Science:98﹪ Arabic (I was raised in Saudi Arabia so...): 100﹪ RE(I did it in year 10): Grade 8 I am so happy with these results especially French since I studied Spanish for most of my life and for some stupid reason chose French for Year 11 and been panicking/working hard so to get a (supposed) Grade 6/B means everything. Edit: Those aren't actually my mock results but my actual Gcse exams that finished last week.

Predicted grades are literally based off your year 6 SATs until teachers predict them themselves if they can. Worrying about your predicted grades is probably the worst thing you can do
Depends on how well you can retain information, some people are lucky and can just cram the night before and still get 9’s lmao. Just know what works best for you

@@beccagrace8652 same, but they still give u a sheet of equations just they don’t give the hard ones. Just do practice questions and u get used to it. The hardest questions in reality aren’t the mathsey ones (I’m good at maths so I can’t really speak) but the long answers ones on electromagnetism and waves are very tricky

I'm doing higher. But I'm sure these tips will help you. 1. Make a to do list everyday or a revision timetable. Do 1 or 2 subjects a day. Find what time you work best at. E.g early in the morning. 2. Find what revision technique works best for you. This could be flashcards,youtube videos, teaching it to someone etc. 3. Print loads of past papers off 4. Past papers should be your main source of revision.After you've learned the content get a past paper you've printed and answer the questions. 5. Now mark it and see what areas you need to improve on. 6. Keep doing all the past papers and see where you are going wrong 7. The answers you get wrong write them down. I cut pieces of paper up and write the answers I got wrong on it. 8. Finally keep going through these answers and memorise them. 9. Keep refreshing your memory every few days/everyday on these answers. Maths : Hegarty Maths, Mathsgenie,Mathswatch, Corbett Maths Science: Physics and Maths tutor, Free Science Lessons(youtube ),bbc bitesize, Primrosekitten (youtube) seneca,quizlet Hope this helped. For science I would watch primrose kitten, physicsonline etc. and use PMT summary sheets, they're literally a lifesaver! For maths, there isn't much you can do except do tons of practice papers I'm afraid 😩

for writing form a checklist of everything an examiner would be looking for so like negatives, time phrases all the past tenses and then learn the really high level phrases that you can just put in anywhere and use google translate as long as you know how to use it, like don’t put the whole paragraph or even sentence in bc it will defo be wrong. make the writing good quality in English first and then turn it into french
Grades depend on how the rest of your year do or in the case of GCSEs, how the rest of the country do so 78% could be a 9 or a 7 depending on how easy the exams were that year

Literally don’t stress mate end of year is not that deep year 8 (in my opinion) is the last year you can actually like chill before you start adding pressure to yourself and others aswell

Bro im in year 11 if im honest with you i have always revised the day the test and i average grade 7,8,9 and im in set 1 for everythin. If u just give your classwork 100percent effort you will have to do minimal revision for your exams. I would suggest to revise abit more from year 10 as your actually start the gcse spec. Offcourse when it comes to actual mocks in year 10 make sure you spend a decent amount of time revising i would say 3-4 days per subject.spending most time on maths and sciences.

Cambridge cancelled all the exams and the school was told to take internal marks. Idk if they r lucky or unlucky. Im weak in hindi. If they had scheduled it for mayjune. I mihyve gotteb better marks😂
