Great video, Abdullah!! I was wondering if you could also make videos for Cambridge O Level candidates. We have slight changes in our syllabus than GCSES and IGCSEs. It's really hard to find good worthy resources for O Levels.

Hopefully, you end up getting the grades you need. I recommend you just bang out past papers cuz that's what I did when I was in yr 11,
ended up with most 9's and a few 8's. For math I just used math's genie and did bare papers now I'm doing Further Math's a level. ;)
PS: Year 12
I used to do all of that and the funny thing I really didn't know that this technique is the best. The bad thing is that I only did this for science in Y9 and I got really good marks in tests but I left this technique in Y10 but I am trying hard to do this again in Y11, I also used cognito a lot in y9 and I am learning content in cognito again. The best thing is if you are in Y10 or Y9 please start reading the textbook or watching videos that you are going to do in class say next lesson and then what you didn't understand you understand it in lesson.
I make notes on all the gaps in my knowledge and I will memorise those. Do you think that's a good idea??

I used this video rougly last year during may last year and i just got my Religious Studies Results back and i got a 8 and now im back to this video because i have my mocks from November 13th 2023 to November 24th 2023 and i am gonna be using these subject based advices that you have given thank you Abdullah i appreicate it alot .

I got mocks next week-- very stressful! I got a crap teacher in French who just teaches the class what is a 150 word essay a week before the mocks..... What advice would you give for practicing French writings in a short time till the mock?

Hello Abdullah, for science I usually write out key points from the textbook and highlight the things I need to know in the spec, how should I go around answering topical questions on cognito?
If I knew I had a test coming up on a certain chapter this is what I would do:
1) Make a customised quiz just for the topics in that chapter and do it (pre-revising).
2) I’ll look at what I got right and wrong and choose to focus my time on whatever I’m bad at.
3) For my weak topics, I’ll open up that lesson and watch the video + do the summary questions.
4) Once you’ve done that for every weak topic of yours, do that customised quiz again to hopefully see improvement.

For science I recommend free science lessons It has the all the topics you would need for your science gcses physics paper 1 chemistry paper 1 biology paper 1 physics paper 2 chemistry paper 2 biology paper 2

Salam Abdulah, its me again. I just wanted to ask a question regarding flashcards. Do you think that this time period for Year 11 is suitable to make my own anki flashcards or should i use premade cards?
Tbh there’s still some time, but if you found out in for example February time that you’re not ready then use the rest pre-made.

dam bro just got my mocks got 7s in everything except maths and english 6 but 9 in spanish lol
Hey Abdullah, I am currently revising for my gcses 2023. I put in so much effort but somehow I failed my mocks:( I got a U on geography which means a grade 0, 1 in maths, 2 in science, 2 in Spanish, 3 in English language and literature, 3 in religious studies and a grade 4 in art. Do you have any advices on how I can improve on all those subjects such as which websites/apps to use? Or UA-cam channel?
I did past papers every Friday for maths before I even did my mocks in November but I still don’t get what I need to do to improve more. For geography since it’s the lowest score I got, I asked my teacher what I could do but tbh, he doesn’t care about anything at all he just seems confusing he can’t even teach properly. I got homework for an Inspector Calls, A Christmas Carol, Ozymandias (power and conflict) and Macbeth. English literature it’s tougher than ever but I wrote a lot as much as I could. I got CGP books so I can improve but somehow I can’t seem to be understanding it due to the lack of having a good brain.
I’m gonna make a video to help everyone transform their current grades to their dream grades in 3/4 months…subscribe for that!

@@honitahussain5029 im not gonna lie but if your acctually revising as you say you were, there should be no way you'd be failing. I was on a expected grade 3s and 4s and pushed them up to 8s and 9s in less than 2 months. Maybe its the way your revising that wrong.
@@DestinationX85 i think i agree. Basically i feel my brains not functioning properly. and i need a CGP book for maths so i can know every topic. For geography my geography teacher told my dad i knew how to answer the questions but i didn’t use proper sentence starters so i think that’s why i got a U. I feel demotivated but i still try hard even though i’m doing foundation.
late reply ik but maybe you're not following the assessment objectives? last year in grade 10 i studied and knew the material but only got decent grades like Cs & Ds because i didn't stick to the assessment objectives

It’s actually sick you know, haven’t experienced any speed issues because it’s an i7 and I’ve played Fall Guys on it (play PS4 more) and the graphics were cleaan

My mocks r in December but I have my physics one on Wednesday and I use one revision method then keep switching methods and forget the content for me I find it hard to understand some content

Stick to one revision method now since the test is on Wednesday, Exam questions and go over the mark scheme to see where you go wrong
