I think I speak for everyone when I say, we want more videos like this. Not so much influencers and celebrities.
Totally agree
Right
Ja
❤
Yeah. This was fun, relatable and interesting. I've been watching for awhile but this was the vid that finally made me subscribe.
$1750 for such a small space should be illegal... but she did make most out of it, so props for that!
Why illegal? People are not forced to live in NYC like a rat.
I’m a New Yorker, $1.750 is A lot for closet sized apt. This same channel profiled people with similar size for $500-$1100.
@@judithlondongal1817 In Manhattan, $1750 is a bargain and I I am sure that is where she is.
Illegal? I live in the NYC area, and I feel the wages and benefits available for professionals in other parts of the US are far more illegal than NYC rent prices. Location, location, location!, and also: enjoy your thousand square feet that you have to fly and rent a hotel room to escape 😏
@@eastcoastmusicmachine7989 I don’t have to escape anything, I live in one of the best and coolest cities in the world, but in a decent sized apartment 👌🏻🤙🏻
The landlord should have installed a toilet that has a small hand washing sink that rests on the tank. It's an easy solution, allowing people to have a place to wash their hands even in the smallest spaces. They are common in Japan, but they are available in the US too. I also recommend a mirror that opens to provide more space for small items such as jewelry (in her entry). She did a nice job with her space and kept it comfortable yet minimal.
Is a tax toilet why he doesn’t have toilets in units.
Her apartment is so clean and organized.
Easy to keep clean it’s so small lmao
Minimalist...love it!
It has to be
Otherwise It won't be livable XD
I actually like it. I think she did great with the space that she has. It's functional and tastefully decorated.
She?
you like it until you actually live in a place like this.. you wanna cut your veins trust me... she us getting scammed..
This is insane. Girl, move to Queens and get a real apartment for the same price.
We don’t need any more yuppies willing to pay $1750 for this in queens. Apartments in my hood are $2900 for a 1bd and $3400 for a 2bd 😑
@@cheyennethomas5101what is a Yuppie?
I respect her minimalist philosophy and her apartment is neat and well organized. I just find it much too small, if there was a small dining area or a patio, that would be a little better. I would get a roommate before living in something that cramped. She has a great attitude about it.
Thanks for watching! Let me know if you like the compilation style videos! From NY to LA tiny living
just don’t repost stuff you’ve already posted, like the bus dude.. watched already, why would I want to rewatch it?
Otherwise I love the channel 🙏
Come to Chicago, IL for apartment tours
why not
Haha I’ve never heard anyone call it a basketball goal.
@@MrAllstar Hay your not the only one watching and sometimes people miss it or don’t mind watching it again 6-12 months later.
This is the smallest, cleanest, and most beautifully decorated efficiency I've seen posted. I've seen tons of them. She makes excellent use of the space, and the fact of having a small private bathroom is an added bonus. Originally from NY, I can't believe what they're considering apartments, but she did a great job with hers..👍🏽
I’ve seen tours for similar-sized apartments, but with far fewer amenities. People may gawk at the price but she’s paying for practicality and convenience as much as she’s paying for a NYC address. IDK if I could live in that sized space long term, but I think it would a fun place to hang my hat for a while!
For $1k/month sure, but $1750, that's borderline robbery. You can find studios with better space in LIC or JC for a similar price range (not luxury building) and a 30 minute commute into city. Lifestyle wise it seems it matches since she's a PT and probably rarely home. The base salary for a PT is ~70k in NYC. So she's probably still spending more than 30% on her rent after taxes? Doesn't seem great financially. Also, she said she only cooks eggs (breakfast?) so she's eating out daily or ordering take out... Would be fun for the short term, but def a rat race grind. Great organization though and she makes the best out of her situation. Love a good murphy bed.
She's doing pretty good 😊
In New York, no anymore, very expensive.
I agree with all you mentioned. But you skipped the most important part. She seems to be super happy about her situation and that what really matters. She is a minimalist, she dosnt care about big spaces, lavish life style.. etc. so, she can live happily with less money. Remember, she gave up a corporate job, so her intentions are super clear.
Not here ny try the price of a crappy 2 bedroom 2200 no utilities and on the 10th floor ny is a scam
when you’re young, happiness and practicality don’t always go hand in hand.
I pay 1744 for my studio apartment. It’s large with high ceilings, a patio and a washer and dryer. Seeing this makes me feel a lot better about my choice.
My mortgage is $1600 for 1600 sqft in a low crime neighborhood. Almost 8000 sqft property, big back yard. Park 2 cars, open the gate and you can park as many cars as you want. 3 bedrooms, laundry room, fully finished basement, 3 beds, 1 extra bed and living room in the basement. I don't feel bad buying a house during the pandemic now.
Where do you live?
@@blackdad8564 where do you live at?
The best micro apt I've seen!
So organized and no clutter!
She has no choice, there is no room for clutter.
I lived in a building years ago in NYC without a sink in bathroom. You could invest in one of those Japanese-style toilets where you wash your hands in the basin. That way people don't have to touch surface of bathroom door (when exiting) with dirty hands. Pretty amazing what you have done with such a small space.
1,750 for a closet is just insane.
Oh my gosh! I love her place. I hope I get a tiny apartment for a good price one day. I don't need a whole lot of space.
Bot
Me too. Currently paying $2400 for a 1br but I don't really use the space
She needs her own UA-cam page. Bc I wanna see how she lives in that. Basically lives in a camper size apartment.
SHE IS AWESOME and so is her apartment!!! Very creative use of space!
3:39 - I love the subtle weaving of a call to action as part of the content. Smart!
I just couldn’t do those shared bathrooms in the hallway. 😩
Love her apartment! So organized.
Love the compilation style videos!
they are basically dorm rooms...but this one actually has a toilet...If they stuck i a toilet (Japanese) where you can wash your hands over the tank ....that would work. Nice with the shower also
I like that it's not all cluttered, she's got a great attitude. I love it. This show is teaching us that simple living and being frugal really is possible!
When the guy said he travels to give skateboard lessons that sealed the deal for me 🔥
So freaking cozy I love it!
She killed it with that sliding shelf
More videos like this please!
She did really well with the space ❤️
1750 for that ,Hell to the naw!!!!!!
I was shocked when I reread it I thought it was $750 lord😭
The apartment looks very nice. It seems to have a generous amount of storage space.
I love this channel ❤️
It's good that she has a kitchenette.
A lot of those super small NYC "apartments" just have a bathroom sink.
Nah DEADAS
I looked at a place where the bathroom sink was the only sink in the apt so they choose a larger sink with a sink sprayer. The bathroom was the sink & the toilet and the shower was separate. There was also no oven. It was the weirdest, broken up apt I’ve seen so far.
That is crazy!!
This is Gonna b so Good CS🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Monday😀….
The only crime here is that she's paying 1750 for it. There are tremendously more spacious, and face it, actual, apartments available in the City if she just looked. Not even talking about far off in the Bronx or Queens. Right near the action in Manhattan, but she's getting gaffled between the location and novelty of a micro apartment.
I got a 950ft², 1BR in BK for 1300 so I just don't know what the deal is.
Deadasss?!?!? Bro I got a sweet deal near bush wick 1000 square feet 1100 💪🏿😊
it’s the difference between traveling and not. i’ve lived in brooklyn near the franklin shuttle, twas so simple to get to manhattan, BUT sometimes i wish i was closer to my hangouts. now i live in manhattan, i love it so much better. i barely ride the train, because i can just hop on a bus. thank goodness my rent is super cheap because of programs, but if i could afford it, i would be paying the $3000 it costs for my 1bedroom place at market value.
I’m so impressed with her minimalist living! And that Murphy bed thing is awesome
I love her tiny apartment. Great use of the small space.
I loved the tiny house, very practical and tidy, I didn't like the bus house because it doesn't have a bathroom or toilet, but I agree that it's better not to overthink things instead of doing them and that's it.
Same shit here in Denver. Except wages are lower. Just live in your car! Park it in a confined space and rev the engine for a while and then take a nap while leaving it running. You won't have to worry about rent anymore.
So cool 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Loved the apartment!
❤it's beautiful. I'm very happy for this lucky girl.🎉😊
Insane that someone would pay over $1,700 a month for basically a walk-in closet... absolutely crazy
People pay $150,000 for video game camos, yes a video game.
Love your apt so adorable
I love that she is happy with that space, the kid inside me that still wants to build a fort thinks it is pretty cool. I'm actually surprised her rent isn't more, simply because "NYC!" blah blah... Props to her for the use of space too. But my mortgage is barely half her rent, for a relatively modest 1200 sq. ft. house in a quiet neighborhood. I do like the minimalist lifestyle, I try to incorporate that into conventional home ownership. Vids like this keep me from accumulating a garage and basement full of crap I don't use or need.
Good thing she's neat. It's hard to manage clutter in a space so little
I remember going to view a "new building" in Brooklyn - the owner made it even smaller to squeeze more tenants in . The smaller bedroom wouldn't even fit a single bed lengthways (2 bedroom apt.) I'm glad we left New York.
This reminds me of the super tiny apartment Corbin lived in in the beginning of the movie “The 5th Element”.
Classic!
Holy cow!! She is so neat! And she has so little. I hunt for these tiny apartments and this is hands down the neatest, least cluttered one with someone actually living in it I have seen. What part of town does she live in?
Amazing ❤️❤️
Jesus, that's $600 more than my mortgage on a 5 bedroom 2 bath house with swimming pool!!
Oh and my mortgage includes PIMI in escrow, lol😊
Oh hell yeah Venice beach!!! In a van!!! Yes yes yes!!!!
cool story dude in bus has ! good for people like him helping give kids an outlet
I love watching these type videos keep them coming ✌️ dang I wished I could get my hubby to agree to love in a van .. it’s always been my dream.. dang..
I love her place, if only it cost like $500 a month
love the Bus
For $1750 a month. I’m taking my chances on the streets 🤣
❤Cozy space. Not bad for the price. It’s NYC after all❤
I pay 425 a month in my country 2k square feet (200m2). Full size house with a big studio, 2 chimneys, 2 garagea, a big kitchen, in a gated community AND a gym across the street
Shes so tidy! Cute place.
Absolutely !!!
Her space is gorgeous. I could definitely live there.
This is crazy. This is way more than my mortgage and I have a house, a shed, and a barn with electric & water on 5 acres of land.
Videos like these are awesome. These videos should be Training for small houses.
Beautiful
Very cute I live in a tiny apartment but I make my space work for me getting very creative with minimalistic living. I love it ❤❤❤
Is tiny but not uncomfortable or unhealthy like other you showed us. It's cozy and easy to clean :) But I think is not that cheap tho
Currently spending LESS than this for more space (and my own bathroom!) in a wonderful spot in Hell's Kitchen. The one good thing that came from the pandemic (for some of us) was a window of time when rental prices dropped. That said, my space is NOT this organized and I won't be inviting anyone to film here anytime soon - but I like watching these videos to get a frame of reference to see how other people in this city are living.
When he asked if she was subscribed, I subscribed. ❤️
She’s great. She has that place dialed in. Good taste.
this (schoolbus) dude is deifinitely living life his way!
honestly perfect setup you really dont need much more
that bus is awesome and props to what he is doing
Hanging your own bathroom is the game changer!
I lived in this apartment during COVID
I have a paid off home with a two car garage, covered patio and a yard. When I had a house payment it was only $700.00 dollars. That was a decade ago. I have a niece who lives in NYC and pays $3500.00 a month for 400 square feet on a 3rd floor walk up because "it's in the right part of town". She has a portable window AC unit, a "mini" fridge, a small stove but no dishwasher or clothes swashing facilities. If she acquires something and doesn't have room for it, she throws it out. That's an insane way to live at 30.
I like the comparison video. I wish he would’ve broken done monthly cost of bus lifestyle in comparison to the person paying monthly on solely rent.
Very cool. I’ve always wanted to learn how to skateboard. But now, it’s like I have no health benefits and cannot afford to break any bones. 😞 but hey really cool video NYC to LA and LA to NYC series of videos like this would be Trey Cool 😎

I don't want to live in NY, but I would love to live in a micro place like this.
His one month bound time was impressive; until you realized that he didn’t really put anything in it. No kitchen no bathroom.
She did the best she could. Makes me appreciate my 2200 sq foot house for which I pay a lot less!
I like her minimalist living! I live in a 562 sqft ‘luxury’ studio apartment in Hollywood, all amenities, fully gated, security, underground parking, etc. (homeless ppl outside) and I pay $2500/mo. I am constantly looking at my options in various states, cities, areas of LA, etc. But here I get my little slice of luxury, and I’m in my favorite city (Los Angeles). So it’s worth it to me. I constantly consider downsizing here, or moving to a state with no personal income tax and cheaper/larger apartments. But LA is still my favorite. :) So I get her sentiment about loving NY and being down to pay $1,750 for an 80sqft apartment
i'm watching this after watching the vid with haley... caleb and haley should hang out some more. :)
Makes my 468 sq ft seem huge. These videos are inspiring though to see the sacrafice ppl make for location.
I love the 2nd guy!
❤ nice
She has such a great attitude
Love her apartment. I'd so love there
nice hoodie
I think she has a great setup for the size.
Did he reupload this? I feel like ive seen the van segment
The tiny apartment looks like it's pretty much a huge deal. Thanks for giving us a tour.
This would actually be a good layout for a van build.
Nice video..
cant wait for $200 apartment size of a closet. Honestly i feel like Van life would be better than average apartment 2k a month.
Great deal for a broom closet. LOL. They're happy, that's all that matters.
That’s a great price!
You can get an entire house for this amount in the South or Midwest .
I'd much rather watch these types of homes than the big apartments that people pay ridiculous money for. These are actually creative and would make me appreciate them more. Also, just goes to show what being a celebrity/influencer can get you. But these people seem so nice, down to earth and hardworking.
