I have read in many comments on the videos of the Great JJ (that's what I call him) that he is one of the most underrated musicians. Why is that? In the 80s and 90s radio stations dictated the laws of promotion. The internet came to democratise and put everyone on an equal footing. Joe Jackson was outlawed on the radio. He was always too unpredictable and gifted for the insecure disc-jockeys. His overly caustic lyrics put many broadcasters at a distance. Such is the life of a genius. Perhaps in 20 years, a new vintage wave will do justice to this tremendous musician.
Sometimes Joe Jackson just has to hit you over the head with how talented he is. BAM

I love the mixture of 1940s jive with the 1980s electronic efficiency of proper German musicians.
An AMAZING LP! Now, even more respect, this song has 80 yo. SHUT UP!
