I first listened to this more than a year ago (first week of July '22). Since then, whenever the original by Head Hunters starts in my playlist, I instinctively switch to this - as it's my preferred version. These guys are so good. The individual tones and collective tightness take the cake. I don't usually notice a drummer's' "tone" that much, but this drummer, Arno Haselsteiner and his rig are just too good. Also a big shoutout to whoever did the sound tech / production work (Enrico Coromines, as the description suggests). I hardly ever comment on a UA-cam video, but this is just so good, and has so few subs and views, I felt like I must tell these people how much I enjoy their music and how much it means to me, after 1 year of regularly returning to listen to this.
What a cover should be. Surprisingly original - in such a way that brings a smile to your face, and yet retains the magic of the original hooks. Awesome job, gents

Over the years, there have been many cover versions of Herbie’s iconic funk classic but I must say this is one of the more innovative and inspired version, packed with memorable individual moments. A refreshing sumptuous musical treat indeed. Bravo, gents!

And now watching these great and awesome beast of musicians play this classic song it's quite the treat. Well done guys. Such coolness and accuracy and the tempo so solid...in the pocket. Loved the arrangement.
