Basically, your list contains meta OP toons that already have meta OP abilities, but do the Omega really add that much? For example, the text for Fracture's Omega is "+15% Damage and Cooldown -1" I agree that Fracture is one of the best abilities in the game, but the Omega doesn't do anything to take it to the next level. On the other hand, Snowtrooper's AoE attack reads "For each Critical Hit scored, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1." That takes a mediocre character and turns him into a damage dealing beast. And that's what a "Best Omega" should do.
this is a good point! glad you brought it up. I don't personally see much value in analyzing only what the omega upgrade gets you. I'm looking at the abilities as a whole. Now, if I was making a list on the best places to spend your omegas, I'd see more value in that. This is just more intended to be a breakdown of the best abilities in the game that tend to not be discussed because they have no zeta upgrade.
Greg Derov Yeah also with Tarkin I would rather take the Grand Moff's Attack because only with this Omega the Potency and therefore the Ultimate Firepower damage keeps rising

I would want to see a vid on omega upgrades instead of the whole ability as a whole, fractures 8th upgrade only increases the damage on a great ability, there are many omega uprgrades that do more for the ability and I would rather see those
Personally I don't really agree that Fracture deserves to top this list, especially because of the speed up Thrawn gives on his counters, which makes it a variable that is dependant on RNG. Spamming speed up on the wrong characters at the wrong time can really mess up the whole battle by helping the opposing characters to make use of their special abilities before you, and the ability block they receive afterwards may then have no practical effect because their special ability (at least one of them) is on cool-down anyway. I run the Nightmare team in the top 20 of my arena shard, and usually I use fracture when an enemy has an upcoming special ability that I have no other way of stopping. I know you usually use Fracture on Sion to prevent him from taunting, but I find shock to be much more effective. I think it's easy to become dependent on Fracture because you know it will land, even through foresight, but personally I don't think it's the best omega ability, maybe not even Thrawn's best special ability.
Trolling CG a little bit, but I’m curious why Zetas (6th letter of the Greek Alphabet) are the ultimate abilities, as opposed to Omegas (last letter of the Greek Alphabet)....
Culling Blade with Vader’s leader zeta is highest single dmg in raids. I’ve had single hits of 1.4M in HAAT. Surely there’s ppl with much higher than that too

I thought that it was a pretty cool idea, let me know what you guys think. *Bastila Shan* I only have her Unique/Leader _Battle Meditation_ While Bastila is active on the field, ally buffs and enemy debuffs will automatically refresh if they have timed out. Buffs and Debuffs may still be cleansed. Ooh, maybe one for her special _Rehabilitate_ Target enemy's cooldowns are reset to maximum and they are stunned for 1 turn.
I use a Palp lead nightmare team in arena and I'm wondering if Sion's basic is good to omega since I mostly do mirror matches. If he dispels everything when he uses it, it's just feeding the other team TM, but then again it can be useful to get rid of shock or buff immunity to keep the taunt up, but I'm not sure if it's better with or without it.
I have been interested in doing more beginning game content so thanks for the suggestions! Something to keep in mind with any “top” list is that it will nearly always be full of toons that are hard to get (legendaries, raid, etc.) Incidentally the top characters do tend to be the hardest to get :)
Sion's Break Will omega does massive damage and can't be evaded, much better than Held By Hatred 80% heal is still good. Raid Han's Deadeye omega alllows for stun Enfys Nest's sudden impact omega also allows for stun
I'd like to emphasize Greg Derov's post. If we're comparing "omega" abilities, the video should focus on what the "omega" addition brings to the ability, instead of describing the ability in general.
Great video, but there’s some issues. First off quick draw doesn’t add another attack. Han Solos zeta gives him another attack the omega for quick draw only adds more turn meter reduction chance. Also I feel like the last 2 really are just good abilities there no objective reason why the Omega adds anything to them.
Couple things to note: 1) Quick draw will always have that double tap because who is running han without a zeta? Either way, it’s the TMR with the DPS that made me put it on the list. 2) the list is best omega abilities, not best upgrades you get from adding an omega. Sorry if that wasn’t clear, but I’m only looking at the abilities as a whole, not just the upgrade text.

I disliked your video, because the real message should be: gear only toons for which you are ready to equip until G12 and maxed their abilities, omega+zeta.

UNnaturallyBlue a lot of people in the end game are having more issues getting enough omegas than zetas. The crunch for omegas for some is more concerning than zetas. It’s okay if that’s not your experience. **edit** In case you misunderstood my intent- I’m referring to omega mats vs zeta mats in that comment- not the abilities themselves

Problem with a “top list” is that I have to consider the top- which will indeed usually contain predominantly characters that take a long time to get.

MrEscortxr3 it’s definitely something I try to do and have done before. It is a bit challenging when my accounts are all end game accounts haha but I definitely keep your level of experience In mind! If anything, let all the end game videos help you develop long term plans on what to farm now so you can be in the best position possible down the line. Cheers!

Endless horde makes almost everything possible, faster than all ls teams too, stand alone and halt too

You get way more omega mats, but you also need an average of 20-30 omega mats per character, requiring far more for a slightly higher droprate
But they just nurfed that CLS omega??? It no longer grants a guaranteed 100% TM 😥
