    I by far like this video. The pattern is simple and easy you can see what she’s doing well and she goes slow enough.
    To finish (at the end you should finish with an increase also known as two double crochet in same stitch.)
    i added 1 half double followed by one single crochet followed by one slip stitch.
    This way the height gets lower and the ends can be weaved in less noticeably

    I will have to see your instructions that you posted so I can get the general idea of what I have to do. I'm not going to be making anything big with the round however you have already answered one of my questions which was how to go from making the beginning of the round to actually increasing it to whatever size I need. I will have to give it a try to see if I can create something decent. I did notice that you weren't using any chains after a certain point of the project. Anyhow thanks for the tips!

    I call it the 321 method, you go from 3 strands to 2, then through to 1 & repeat. Very helpful, thanks. I'm trying out a fine thread with a fine needle, it began taking on it's own shape...it could've been a button cover, as I kept going, it's beginning to fit like a glove (so it's becoming a finger), I've had this old basket of thread for years, not sure where I got it from, but it's like lace making....same materials. Wow. Next time I'm going to do this with wool.

I think my issue was not the right size hook for the yarn I was using ... but I also am curious as to how to keep going if you want to do something like say a blanket... because if you do go up to like 7 single crochets then the 2 into one hole it starts to develop flat edges.

You should also watch your stitch number because that might be an issue, and stretch your work from time to time, and if you need to, you can block it later on. And of course loose tension helps a lot, maybe you can switch the way of holding your yarn? It helped me at least. Good luck!

      so the first round is 12 stitches, you add 12 stitches every round so round 2 has 24 stitches, round 3: 36, round 4: 48, etc. round 2 is 2 stitches in each stitch of the previous row, round 3 is 1 dc in the first stitch, 2 dc in the next stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch, 2 dc in the next stitch, etc until you get 36 stitches, round 4 is 1 dc in the first stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch, 2 dc in the next stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch, 2 dc in the next stitch, etc until you get 48 stitches for that row. so round 5 would be 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc, repeated, round 6 is 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc, repeated. you just add 1 dc to the pattern from the previous round.

    Excuse me, could you tell me what size is the crochet hook? I'm new, is it 3.5 mm or 4mm ? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    i see. so its more about the chaining that changes it from a sphere to a flat circle. i only know how to make spheres so i was wondering what the difference is between how to crochet something to be flat or 3D

      Your tightening your stitches as you go, you want to make sure not to do so.

    I'M TRYING TO MAKE A LARGE BLANKET USING THIS, IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE IT GO FASTER?? FOR EXAMPLE....IF I'M ON AN INCREASE OF EVERY 1O STITCHES, CAN I KEEP INCREASING 1O STITCHES PER ROUND INSTEAD OF EVERY 11, 12, AND SO ON?? I HOPE I'M MAKING SENSE TO YOU & THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!

    The written instructions for steps 5 and 6 are really confusing. Does anybody have a pattern for single color spiral that continues past row 4?

    • @WithLoveLeisha
      @WithLoveLeisha 3 роки тому +1

      For every round going forward from where she left off, you're going to increase the number of stitches that you put a single stitch into. For example, round 5 you put 1 stitch in the next 3 stitches, then 2 stitches in the 4th stitch. Repeat that- 1 stitch in next 3 stitches, 2 stitches in the 4th stitch all the way around. You can use any stitch you want- single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet- it's the same for all. Round 6 put 1 stitch in the next 4 stitches, then 2 stitches in the 5th stitch- repeat all the way around. So every row you increase the number of stitches that you' are putting only1 stitch into. Hope that makes sense. :-)
