Oh my god Noel running across the courtyard to the bath with a hose remains one of the funniest things from Taskmaster ever for me 😂😂😂😂 it just tickles me so much
You may have noticed that in these early seasons, there's something of a theme object that shows up prominently across many tasks. In Season 1, it was eggs, Season 2 was potatoes, Season 3 was peas, and I'm sure you noticed that here in Seasin 4, we have rubber ducks!
I can't believe you're on ep 5 already! I look forward to watching your reactions every week. In my opinion this series gets even better; you really are in for a treat! Mel and Hugh are still one of my favourite Taskmaster teams. I think we all love it when Fred appears. He's a Taskmaster legend! You may have noticed that there are certain things (and Fred) that keep popping up throughout the series and that's one of things I love about the programme, because it connects all the series together but is different every time.
Thank you!! Yeah, I've definitely heard good things about it, and I instantly liked Greg when I saw him initially on Graham Norton. Plus I've yet to NOT enjoy any UK comedies I've watched, so all signs point to yes.
Undoubtedly been mentioned to you before but you really should check out Mock the Week, which usually if not always has Hugh Dennis on. Just have to say I love your positivity for our british shows, keep up the fantastic reactions!
I’m not sure if this is been mentioned yet. But pay attention to the tasks with Mel and what Alex is wearing for neckwear. He has a different type of tie every task he is with Mel. On the taskmaster podcast, he told the host why he did it. And he said was because it was Mel Giedroyc.
Mel's action without friction idea of being dragged around the garden is right up there with Noel as a banana as one of the greatest moments of all Taskmaster history.
Gregg’s show The cleaner is his newest and it’s quite quite good. There’s been two series so far. He often has other famous actors. In the first one there was Helena Bonham Carter.
I also felt sorry for Hugh throughout the series. Then I watched Fast and Loose a TV Show from 2011 hosted by Hugh. Greg appeared there as a guest sometimes. And I think Hugh did the same with Greg back then. He was a bit meaner to him than to the others. But maybe I am just projecting things.
Ohhh I gotcha.. thank you! Yeah, I kinda suspected this to be the case. That they're probably good friends or friendly, à la Tim Key and Alex, or something like that.
This is probably my all-time favorite team task! Cling film feet, the table interfering with the journey, and Noel pissing water into a bath while Rome burned 😂
Yeah, the prevailing feeling in the fandom is that Greg settled on Hugh as his main mockery target early on and that is really hurt his chances. I'd say Mel is just endlessly positive on camera. Apparently behind the scenes she's the firmer half of her comedy duo with Sue Perkins, but both of them know the live they want and they want it to be nice.
Thanks! It’s so interesting to me to find and watch clips of the contestants’ other works after the season is over. I’m always afraid to search for them during, lest I stumble upon an old headline like “Lolly Adefope Wins Season 4 of Taskmaster..” or something. They often seem so different, especially those who do standup. I can’t wait to see/hear how Hugh is outside this format.
Hola, soy Spoonie... what's up?☺️💚 I thoroughly enjoy how invested you get David with the points. Seems like each season there is the 'heel' that Greg picks on most...this season I believe it's Hugh. As always...thank you for giggles.☺️💚
I think you'd love Man Down, Greg and Roisin (and Mike Wozniak who appears on a later season) together, and add in Rick Mayall and you've got comedy gold.
I love the contrast between mel and a certain other person in series 16, they worked together so well, but in taskmaster they're complete polar opposites
I like how you knew the task was to slide the furthest. you see a blue tarpaulin laid out on the ground, and your immediate first thought is "lighter fluid". lol
Mel’s genuine joy at Hugh’s win just makes me 🥰 She’s the most wholesome human being to ever exist and I love her so much!
@@HerHollyness Mel really does seem to exude joy when she sees someone else happy, great quality!💚
She is so great!!!
She has it coming for being so nice!

Hahahaha YES! And hats off also to the editing team for they way they spliced that in and made the timing so great.
Hugh and Mel just give me joy when they do anything together🥰
Yes!! And I love also at the end when she's like, "Come on Deskie!!" lol

Yep! I wonder how long it will take him to figure out the recurring object in season 5?

You’ve got to watch Greg in “The Inbetweeners”! I’m not sure it’ll be 100% your humour, but he’s so good in it.
Totally agree!☺️💚
And it would be worth watching at least a bit before seeing Season 8 of TM.

I think I agree with you that Mel is one of the cutest people out there and would be a good entry for that prize task.

slowly (okay quickly) becoming my favourite youtuber - love your stuff david look forward to the next one :)

Not gonna lie, watching Hugh remove his belt and swing it around gave me.....feelings.

Duck! Mel is such a silly goose 🪿 🤣!

I will probably watch this in a few hours, but I'm giving it a like now anyway, because the TM vids are always good, and you seem like a decent human.
Haha why thank you. Back at ya

Hugh Dennis was the longest contestant on a show called, Mock the Week
He also on a radio show, which you can hear on UA-cam called The Now Show

i would never say jump ahead, but having just watched the first episode of 18, i will say the show never slows down or gets old.
I like your cozy candle, the vibes are nice!

the team task is excellent, one of my favourites
Hugh "Deskie" Dennis was in a sitcom called Outnumbered, which was about 2 parents dealing with 3 wise-ass kids. I think you'd enjoy it.
Hey David - S'up! Hope you're good. I think you laughed the most/hardest in this episode. Great reaction 💜 -x-
19:23 "Old Gregg"!!
This was a great episode, every time I see Mel do that slide task it makes me want to do what she did some day, it looked like fun
Thanks for all the hard work on these videos!
If you decide to watch any of Greg's shows, please do it on the channel!
Cool reaction ❤
Lighter fluid! 😂😂😂. Zero to 100 on that one!
Haha it was only a glimpse, but I was like, “Blaze that trail, baby!”
Hiya! Greetings from over here I hope you are well xxx
Helllooooooo!!!!! Hope all is going well and that your week is off to a good start.

"It's the length of the Titanic.... A scale model of the Titanic. "
Alex is great. Even better that Greg really doesn't like this stuff.
Loved it and you've made my evening 😊x
I love hearing this, thank you!! I tried to get it ready for yesterday, but I ran out of time :(

Hey, I'm still dazzled by the fireworks that started the season, so bring on pyrotechnics and fire at any point!
Is it dangerous to ask if Mel has taken over Roisin as ‘my girl’??
Fair play on the yoghurt is cultured joke. lol
haha why thank you
I love when swedish Fred reappears☺️ love your love for him too🤣
Hey there!! Thank you :) OMG yes, he is the best lol. I'm so glad he didn't disappear after the first couple of seasons. I hope I see him again!
Toasted bread is easier to throw than untoasted because it’s more rigid.
Hello David how are you doing today?
Daniel my man! Good thanks, how are you?
@@DavidvsFilm I'm Doing Well also nice Reaction to taskmaster
😍
heartstopper season 3 trailer is out
didn't noel fail, AND it wasnt even a "throw"? he gets 2nd place? pure favoritism
Yes. This isn’t a gameshow. It’s a dictatorship. That’s the entire point of the show and it’s never claimed otherwise.
