@@darrinjones6093 No, why I said that is because I've seen other people with the same and there was just a lack of humility and patience on Sam's behalf that wasn't of the Spirit. I know the carnal flesh is still there wrestling with the Spirit to come out, and that's why we would be nothing without the imparted power of God to do his will each day. And our energy is to be humble even when we don't get it back. But I do get what you're saying.
I agree, this was one of a few debates that I managed to watch until the end. Sometimes, the arrogance is a bit too much even though he might be right.

I was stopped by 2 men who were preaching at the predominantly hindu community. And he kept saying that Jesus is not God. And you all worship him... I asked him what religion he was from and he said jehovah's witness. Sir, I wish I had the knowledge that you had so that i can teach him about the trinity.

In a nutshell, the Trinity just makes sense based on the actual reading of the scriptures. If you disagree, then you open up contradictions between the New and old testament and you call God a liar. Simple. Praise God 🙌

Creation is the bringing into existence of Jesus in his former state, the beginning of creation.

Why did the Protestants break free from the RCC if the RCC was teaching the truth? Seems the only thing all agree on is to attack the beliefs of JWs. Matthew 24:9.

Jesus being an angel, who has a close relationship with his Creator, was in the best position to explain who God is to us.

John 14:Whoever has seen me has seen the Father also. How is it you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in union with the Father and the Father is in union with me? The things I say to you I DO NOT SPEAK OF MY OWN ORIGINALITY, but the Father who remains in union with me is doing his works.

Jesus spoke in different ways at different times concerning His Deity (in the Holy Spirit of God, at conception), and as a man, which is what formed *with* the Holy Spirit (God) in the womb of Mary. Jesus, the Son of God, is God Himself, and Jesus *the Son of Man* is human, not God. So it depends on how you look at it. An "angel" is simply a messenger. God can be that messenger. Look at Exodus 3:2-4 and see that THE Angel of the LORD was in the *midst* of the bush, and then it goes onto say that GOD was in the *midst* of the bush! :) That means the Angel (Messenger) of the LORD was God Himself. I believe that Angel (Messenger) was Jesus (THEE Word of God -> Word -> Verbal Message, and remember: Angel = MESSANGER) coming in visual form, before coming in the flesh. Now take note: God Himself said to Moses to take off his shoes, for he is on holy ground. Now go to Joshua 5:13-15. See Joshua saw a man with a sword in his hand. This man was the commander of the LORDS army. Joshua fell down and worshiped him. Then this commander said the same to Joshua that God said to Moses. To take off your shoes for this is holy ground. Very interesting, right? :) Jesus, the Word (Spoken Spirit) of God, is Gods Message (Angel) to us. He then came in flesh at conception in Mary's womb and then died for our sins as the perfect sacrifice, to wash us clean wholly forever. Jesus is the Holy Spirit Spoken Word of God. The flesh from Mary's genes that God formed around was not God. There is a difference that I think many miss here.

The words I speek to you are not mine, but the father that dwells in me." He literally is saying his spirit is God spirit, because the father dwells (lives) in him.

Remember many JWs once were deceived by such stuff as they were once members of churches. What set them free? John 8:32.
Plenty of JW were born into it. Without proof of scripture JW believe Jesus's body disintegrated and his body came back as a spirit. They believe Jesus came back in secret and is hiding in NY letting 8 men be his mouth piece even though that very idea goes Against scripture in so many ways. Not to mention it's a made up religion that can be traced back to 1870's. Look up stories of ex JW if you're allowed to. Since JW aren't allowed to look at things outside of what is approved for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Yeshua HaMaschiach/ Jesus Christ is the WORD of the GOD Most High made flesh and is full of grace and truth and glory begotten of the Father.

That translation of John 1:1 doesn't make sense.
Its like saying "I was WITH my Grandfather when he died. And I WAS my Grandfather."
'In the BEGINNING' What is a beginning if God is all alone? The BEGINNING obviously means someone had been created by God. That is how this someone was WITH God when time began.
Who was this Firstborn of all creation?( cf Colossians 1:15)
John tells us that this created being was a god. A mighty being. Later we find out that it was an angel.
Here is how it is properly translated.
• 1863: "and the Word was a god" - A Literal Translation of the New Testament (Herman Heinfetter [Pseudonym of Frederick Parker], 1863)
• 1864: "and a god was the Word" - The Emphatic Diaglott by Benjamin Wilson, New York and London (left hand column interlinear reading)
• 1879: "and the Word was a god" - Das Evangelium nach Johannes (J. Becker, 1979)

It is this Angel called the Word that God SENT to become Jesus. Read Galatians 4:4
'To WHICH of the ANGELS did God say...' - Hebrews 1:5.
That is why this statement of John 'No man has SEEN God at ANY TIME.' - 1 John 4:12 is TRUE. Jesus was NEVER God.

Firstborn or First created?
Colossians 1:15 - ‘the firstborn (Greek: prototokos 4416) of every creature’.
JWs use this verse to teach that Jesus was created at a point in time as an angel.
They ignore the evidence and insist that the word ‘firstborn’ here means ‘first created’, ‘the eldest in Jehovah’s family of sons’.
The Bible teaching:
1) ‘Firstborn’ (Greek: prototokos) does NOT mean ‘first-created’ (Greek: protoktisis). First-created (Protoktisis) is never used of Christ in the New Testament.
Question:Where is it used of Jesus in New Testament?
Question: Why didn’t Paul use the term ‘first-created’ (protoktisis) in Colossians 1:15 if he meant that Christ was the first one created by Jehovah?
2) Ask: What does ‘firstborn’ (Greek: prototokos 4416) mean?
Answer: ‘Pre-eminent, Ruler, Sovereign, First in rank’.
It is used in other passages which refer to Christ:
i. Romans 8:29 ‘that he might be the firstborn among many brethren’. ‘Prototokos’ presents Christ as the pre-eminent member of the group (S. Zodhiates NT, p 1249).
ii. Colossians 1:15. ‘The firstborn of every creature’ Christ is the one pre-eminent and supreme ruler over all creation (S Zodhiates NT, p 1250). v.16 ‘By him were all things created’ means that Christ Himself is not part of Creation (John 1:3).
iii. Colossians 1:18 ‘He (Christ) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning (arche), the firstborn (prototokos=Ruler) from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence (proteuon)’.
‘Arche’ means ‘first cause’ (Revelation 3:14, Colossians 1:18) and is parallel to ‘prototokos’ in Colossians 1:15,18, both asserting Christ’s pre-eminence.
Note: ‘Proteuon’ (pre-eminence) present tense is used only in Colossians 1:18 and indicates not an acquired right to be ruler and pre-eminent, but an inherent right by virtue of His nature. Christ, being the Creator, deserves to have pre-eminence.
iv. Hebrews 1:6 ‘And again, when he bringeth the firstbegotten (prototokos=Ruler) into the world, he saith ‘And let all the angels of God worship Him’.
Alternately, translate this as ‘And when He again brings the firstborn into the
world’, refers to Christ’s second coming when Christ as King will be worshipped by the angels. Christ is exalted even above all the angels.
v. Revelation 1:5 ‘And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the
firstbegotten (prototokos=Ruler) of the dead, and the prince (arche = chief) of the kings of the earth.’ Here ‘prototokos’ means that Christ is first of those to be resurrected, and prince (arche) means ruler of earth’s kings at His second coming.
Note: JWs compare Christ as the firstborn of all creation with the firstborn son of Pharaoh. This is nonsensical, because it is true that Pharaoh parented his son, but it is not true that ‘all creation’ parented Jesus.
3) We must understand what the original speaker or writer intended by the words which he used. The ancient Hebrews used the term ‘firstborn son’ when referring to the preeminent son, regardless of whether or not he was the first son born to the parents. The son with the title ‘firstborn’ had the right of primogeniture which meant that:
i) He acquired a special blessing (Genesis 27);
ii) He became heir of a double share of the father’s wealth (Deuteronomy 21:17);
iii) He replaced his father as the family head. He had authority over his brothers;
iv) He represented the father in civil and religious matters;
v) He had some holiness because through him flowed the common blood of the tribe (Genesis 49:3; Deuteronomy 21:17).
Key: The term ‘firstborn’ does not refer to the first one born, but to the pre-eminent one in the family. Consider these examples where the son with the title ‘firstborn’ was not born first:
(1) David was the last born son of Jesse, yet Psalm 89:27 says of him: ‘Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth’. (v.20 onwards refers to David).
(2) Ephraim was the second born son of Joseph: ‘The name of the second called he Ephraim.’ (Genesis 41:50-52). Yet ‘Ephraim is my firstborn’ (Jeremiah 31:9). This was because of his pre-eminent position. Manasseh was born first to Joseph, but Ephraim became the firstborn because of his pre-eminence.
(3) Jacob (Israel) was the second son born to Isaac, after Esau, yet God says of Israel, ‘Israel is my son, even my firstborn.’ (Exodus 4:22). Esau says of himself, ‘I am Esau thy firstborn’. (Genesis 27:19). Esau means that he was born first and should have the birthright. God means that Israel, though born second, took the pre-eminent position. Hence, in this sense Christ is firstborn because of His pre-eminence, not because He was created first as JWs think.
(4) Solomon was born to David later, and the line of the kings came through Solomon,yet Amnon was born first (I Chronicles 3:2).
(5) Isaac was born 13 years after Ishmael, yet Isaac took the pre-eminent position in the family.(Genesis 17:19).
(6) Judah was the fourth son born to Jacob (Genesis 29:35), yet Judah received the dominion and line of Christ, even though Reuben being born first forfeited his right of primogeniture due to fornication (Genesis 49:3,4)
4) Firstborn can be rendered metaphorically, not meaning born first.
Examples include:
i) Job 18:13 ‘the firstborn of death shall devour his strength’. As the firstborn son held the chief place, so Job refers to the chiefest (most deadly) disease that death possessed;
ii) Isaiah 14:30 ‘The firstborn of the poor shall feed’, means the poorest of the poor.
Conclusion: Firstborn does not mean born first or created first. Rather, it is a title of first rank, or pre-eminent position. Paul calls Christ the firstborn (prototokos = Ruler).
Ask: What does Psalm 89:27 mean by calling David firstborn, when he was the last born son?
Ask: Why didn’t Paul use ‘first created’ (protoktisis) of Christ in Colossians 1:15 if he intended to teach that Christ was the first one created by Jehovah?

Jesus spoke of the Father as his "God" in a very specific sense. The Father is Jesus' authority...the one who Jesus obeyed. So in that sense, the Father was God over him. But Jesus was eternal (always existing), which means that he is of the same nature as the Father. John 1:1 describes this very clearly, the word was with God and the word was God. So I think you're not seeing the nuance of what Jesus means when he calls the Father "his God".

The Ex 24 :9-11 Argument is in coherent. Saying Jesus is God does nothing to solve the difficulties in reconciling this verse with John 1:18. If Jesus is God and nobody saw God then nobody saw him either including in Ex 24. If they actually saw God, then it doesn't matter if it was the son or the Father according to Trinitarian logic as they are both equally God... unless you are saying they are not and you can see one God and not the other in Ex 24.

Jesus who was WITH God was himself a god. Meaning a mighty being. An angel.
This angel became flesh (John 1:14). Thus, the past tense 'WAS' becomes appropriate.
On earth Jesus was NOT an angel. He was just a man. God had transformed his spirit form into a human form.
Remember that chosen humans will be transformed into spirit beings (Philippians 3:20,21). Jesus was the other way round (See Philippians 2:7).

You really see a pattern with JWs, its slipping in slight inversions of the text. When the bible says Christ created all creations, JWs say "yes all other creations". If a early church father says there is no God over the Father of Jesus Christ, JWs say "Yes the Father is god over Jesus Christ" if Christians affirm that heaven and earth were made by Jesus, JWs say "Yes heaven and earth were created through Jesus".
Actually no JW will say Christ created anything.
Because Jesus himself was a creation. He had no creative powers. Even his miracles were not with any power of his own.

Matthew 4:10 in the Aramaic Bible in Plain English reads,

After going to churches for 45 years I went to this one black holy roller church I got filled with the real Holy Ghost speaking in tongues exactly like what happened to the apostles. It happened in a split second. My whole thought process changed instantly. I have the mind of God in me now. And power comes with it. I have prayed a seen body injuries healed instantly on my construction job. I have supernatural peace even in the time of trouble and believe me when you follow God with all your heart you get trouble but God Jesus is a very present help in the time of trouble. I have never lacked. In mornings I read the Bible until I feel that spirit of God awaken in me and I feel him off and on during the day. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and ALL the other things shall be added unto you". Any person who repents can receive the spirit of God just like in the book of Acts. You just ask Jesus. It is an awesome life when you feel his supernatural spirit around you in the day. You don't even have to carry a gun because God is your shield and protector. "If God is for you who can be against you?"
