Thank you for posting this video. I was able to order the kit and complete the job with confidence. Really appreciate your help. Keep up the great work.
Video as thorough as the eSaab kit. Nice job.
Thanks 👍
Absolutely fantastic description. Thank you so much
Happy to help!
Perfect installation. Thanks for the video.
Absolutely helpful material. I went ahead and ordered the kits for front and rear suspension from eSaabparts. Will replace it myself :) Thank you for your time and effort, sir!
Great work and beautiful SAAB 9-3~😄
I'm gonna do the same job on my SAAB 9-3 2008 next week. Your vid encourage me doing this job. Thanks a lot.
훌륭한 작업, 자세한 설명에 감사드려요. 다음주에 저의 SAAB 9-3 에 같은 작업을 할 예정인데 많은 도움이 되는 영상입니다.
How is the ride after, I did the job and esaabparts struts... the ride and bump steer is real bad
you connect the new strut to the hub first on these because they dont have studs up top. there is a hex spinner under the top of the strut cap. use a sep mini jack un the hub to align the bolts for both hub and sway bar! If the top 3 bolts are not centered then you will probably need an alignment. usually a 50/50 chance you dont have too.
Great! I was looking exactly for this video, and I found it. Thank you!
Glad to help!
Great video! thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Great video thank you!
Thanks!
잘봤습니다 감사합니다♥
A tapered drift will help align your lower strut bolts.
yes!
Saab have difrent kind of suspension, how to check what suspension my 07 saab 93 aero 2L petrol have
Nice
I am looking at doing this for my 08 93. Can you tell me how the ride is now that over a year has passed? Has the cost for the product held up or is the Amazon option just a good?
No clue on how to compare to the many Amazon 'specials' the kit I got from eSaabParts has been great. Though I see some other comments here to the contrary.
So what do i do if the tower bolts up top are spinning? Would using an electric tool do the trick?
I would try a nut splitter and crack the nuts off.
I was able to get a small pair of vice grips to hold underside.
No wheel alignment needed?
You should bit not Always necassary
No alignment necessary!!....
11:02 removal of sway bar link
12:30 Brake line, speed sensor removal
14:40 remove two wheel bolts. Remove brackets. Use hammer to tap out bolts.
17:43 remove three strut mount 14mm bolts on top of the vehicle
19:08 slide the strut assembly out in one piece
19:48 Remove lower sway bar link 14mm
I never filed anything off the whole time I've been doing cars
It goes to compulsiveness and perfection.
Damn that's already 599 plus tax now. I'm going to be ordering the same kit..
How did it work out for you? How is the ride? I am looking to do this to my 08 93.
I bought installed and yuck the ride and bump steer is real bad.
These work perfectly on my 06 sportcombi… big improvement over the kyb struts it had when I purchased!
build your own, this kit will cause problems...
@@hrd3019 i dont even have my saab any longer.
So I did this and bought the parts from eSaabParts and the ride is terrible. I would not recommend buying those parts.
Were you previously using aftermarket assemblies? And did you go with the standard or sport chassis options?
@@JBrander35 Oring eupt... I would build your own, I would not req this kit.
