@@ejgames8484"Was"? You mean, "is" a series. It's still going on. Madness Day happened about a week ago and there's a new official video that was uploaded too.
I used to play the SHIT out of Madness Interactive mods on the old Flecko forums and the Rayne.Hellawack collection back in the 00's so It's been a hot minute since I've seen any new mods come out and this looks like the pinnacle of all MI modding!
RAYNE HELLAWACK!!! OH MY GOD YOU JUST UNLOCKED SO MANY CORE MEMORIES FOR ME! Wonder if it's still available to play in some capacity. I remember some of the mods being significantly better than the vanilla game, some even had reloading which blew my mind as a kid.
@@Caffeinated-DaVinci A lot of the best Madness mods got reuploaded to Kongregate but Hellawack still exists on the wayback machine with the ability to download some stuff. And yeah, some of my favs were Matrix Rayne and HD Mod using the Uberactive remaster
You should check out the gore in killing floor 3, they've shown it off a bit. The animations are still pretty "indie" looking and unfinished and the active ragdolls from the second game aren't there (yet, these are most likely a couple subject to change things since all we've really seen so far is some pretty early footage) but the gore looks really cool. It seems like a slightly less complex dead island 2 esque gore system with dynamic body damage from what i've heard and seen and some good dismemberment. They recently showed off their "head flowering" system earlier today and it looks fucking yummy
Was playing MIR with some of the "cheats" and i was using the fast melee one. When I chopped the hell out of an grunt (enemy) i saw that the knife cut through the top layer of both the body and the head, revealing the gory layers below, dunno if you already saw this earlier or saw it after this but just thought I should at least point it out.
I feel like it's missing a good bit of the original Madness Interactive's charm by being mostly animation driven rather than being mostly physics driven. There are still some of the classic physics effects with the weapon throwing, but I remember in the original the knives were used by swinging the cursor around, not clicking to play an animation. There really weren't many animations in the original at all come to think of it, the aiming was all physics based, the melee, while simple, was physics based and so was throwing weapons, which now seems to be animation driven with a single button press. Very strange choice from the devs of a game with 100% physics based animations, IE People Playground.
Madness project nexus on steam is so much fun. Its 3d version of this basicly and you can just send enemies flying into nice chunky bits. I recommend checking out that one too.
@@RandomMadnessChannel thank you for the link! It's still a amazing game and they added workshop for arena mode, it makes it way better. For example you can play as those big guys and throw people around and have new executions. While also on madness difficulty everything feels better as well, less bullet sponges and such.
Also! There's death animations for acid, electrocution, acid and like one where your atoms get destroyed, kinda like getting hit by the combine pulse ball.
Honestly, considering this is from the same creators of People Playground, I must say the gore aspect seems extremely basic and disappointing. I know this is a BETA and the game will improve, but I was expecting the gore to be something along the lines of this Madness animation, for example: ua-cam.com/video/0uXzxgeoH8s/v-deo.html

its a new game what your talking about
@@MathepaAnimatorok so madness used to be a flash game and a sort of series online. Sites like newgrounds and mostfungames had it.

the flash one or the 3d one?
@@-GETGRUB the first one. Flash
This probably really nurtured my love for response mechanics in games. What a beautiful free game.

they need to improve the blood spilling but wow this looks awesome

I haven't. Interesting
Nevadeans are canonically more fragile than humans, hence the ridiculous-sized chunks taken off them by shotgun blasts.

Someone is keeping the series alive
I remember playing the Halo mod
how well timed since Madness Combat 12 just released
I was obsessed with the animated series in middle school
A madness game, perfect for an equally mad individual
I am glad they are doing the Uncharted Method for health instead of the the normal way.
holy shit, I loved this game
GAH I NEED THIS SO BAD.
Game is free, link is in the description

Cool, didn't know about the workshop. Might stream it while playing as one of the big guys
shame about the melee weapons, the original madness interactive had impressive physics that allowed for precise throws
ARES! Let me grab enemies in the Madness combat game and my life is yours!
The HOURS I spent playing the original as a kid lol
Valentin promised to Talk about serious sam 4 back in serious sam 3 video and we still didn't get it
I think at the time I assumed there would be significant improvements to the responses, it's pretty clear that there weren't
god we need a madness combat game on console
I jope they add the ability to make your own enemies or have a tab to download mods would be fun
it's so dumb that while you were making that video, they updated the gore xD
Just checked the more recent releases, doesn't seem like there has been anything dramatic in the newer versions
what a classic
Wooo oldschool !!!
Did you change any settings? Theres barely any gore when I play.
I don't think there is any gore related setting
Blunt damage is planned as far as I know

omg newgrounds nostalgia

Interesting... 🤔
How u get unlimited ammo
IDK, somehow saw that I unlocked a disk. Later while playing it I randomly unlocked another one
there is a sandbox mode and cheat disks
I've used both in this video
Dead rising remastered gore?
Coming to console?
No idea, but I think very unlikely. It's a fan project, they're releasing it entirely for free. Porting to consoles is a massive task
Already better than nexus 2
When I was a kid I was afraid of this game
You should do video about people playground too ❤🎉🎉
I'll pass on that, not my thing at all, but I'll gladly cover anything of interest for me by the devs
i want to play but the download looks sus as shit. the folders full of system files
its safe, the devs made people playground, one of the most popular gore-ragdoll games on steam. im pretty sure those files are meant for modding
