The rag doll still needs some work, it doesn't work out very well anatomically, I hope they'll fix it. I wrote to the developers of the Operator game, they did a great job listening and promised to improve the rag doll for bots in the November update.
Gotta revisit Operator. Haven't played it in a while. I do know they are planning a gore update later on

@@ACivilizedPrimate it's not that they "can't" make something. the game is a proof of concept and they are specifically targeting enemy ai and realism. that is what these people are developing. they can only do one thing at a time
have you ever had a job before? if so, I'm sure you can imagine how random and dumb it would be if someone fired you for not doing something you were never even asked to do in the first place

I will never understand why decal lifetime is not a configurable setting in games. Even modding it is usually a pain to do. I hope one day that changes. Great video man!

I mean not really. Just needs more content which is already being planned and developed and some polish and optimization. AI improvements. But the pieces are all there.

bleeding and blood smearing is a very cool feature. I guess it can even be quite handy to track down enemies

It's really good
The blood effects are a fond call back to early 3rd person ps1 like Syphon Filter where a red spot would blossom on the clothes of the main character or enemy after taking multiple hits.
It was an amazing future for the ps 1 standards and only other game with bullet wounds on ps 1 was die hard trilogy 2
Ready or not's visceral blood + more blood/gibs mods together in six days would be nuts

Genuinely I think that more mild and understated blood / gore effects like this are actually more realistic and immersive even if they don't make for the most exhilarating gameplay experience.
This game reminds me a bit of Rainbow Six 3 (PC and Xbox version), another tactical shooter where it also has that effect, ragdoll, blood splatter, leaking, and flesh wound. Six Days of Fallujah here is amazing where it looks pretty much realistic. Though there are some issues that needs more work like ragdoll, hope the developers will fix that in the future update.
this update really brough this game full circle i can see the dream now they just have to take the parts and put them together and polish them. Im so excited for the final release and the full campaign I really enjoyed the first 2 missions.

Are you playing with FSR enabled? Footage looks strangely grainy and feathered
Activated it by mistake, I think it turns on if you tinker with the AA settings
I still think Insurgency Sandstorm has the best blood decals on walls.
One more thing random can u ask them to implement gore
I'm not in touch with any of the devs, just the PR guys. They did state specifically that they don't want any bits coming off, so what I am still hoping for is just some enhancements in the animation side. Then it will be good as far as I'm concerned
@@RandomMadnessChannel In all respect but i dont get that. They want to show the brutal side of this mission. What the Marines had to go through, I'm not asking it to be like Doom, but if you're going to go that realistic gruesome route, you should make that aspect realistic, which means that deaths should look gruesome. I think anyone who has seen pictures like that knows what I mean.
@captainovary9553 I'm the last person to argue against gore enhancements, but it is something that they have decided, so I'm keeping suggestions within what might still happen.

They need to make new first person weapon animations, currently the reloads for weapons look worse than it looked in 2007's Call of Duty...
def a nice change, but honestly biggest issue i find is trying play with random people in matchmaking, 9/10 people will have no mics and wont say anything, then leave after dying once not even waiting to be respawned.
Ragdolls look good to me, tbh not really a priority compared to overall gore and aftermath effects, the game could definitely use deformation of the body like large open wounds or missing chunks from the head for example, maybe more screaming and have the characters move in pain in the ground for a bit
ragdolls are definitely more important than whatever youre talking about

I think it might have been just very mildly improved (seen less silly moments this time around when I was filming), but yes, mentioned it in the video as well, this needs a lot more work

Wow, whatever scaling you are using in-game looks absolutely horrible. It looks to be FSR or something, surely something that looks like this doesn't require scaling on modern GPUs?
Wasn't using scaling, it's probably some weird AA thing.
Edit: NVM, just checked, there was indeed an upscaler. I thought I had that thing on off

Yeah, I avoid upscalers and all of that stuff but apparently that got accidentally ticked on when I was looking for blood stain configs
