- Every few years, we've gotta take everyone's temperature on which characters can kick rocks.
I asked over 40 people, almost virtually NO ONE SAID FOX?! Can't get over that. Crazy. Maybe melee is in a good place :D

I like to believe your initial question was "who do you hate most in melee?" and everyone just answers "Leffen".
What we see here is just the second take.
I feel like a lot of the people I spoke to have known or interacted with Leffen personally to some degree and would, in fact, not say that at all. go outside
The k up character that is able to make me rage in melee is Luigi. (Mainly online). Really fun when they turn on their lag switch, do one wavedahs across the whole stage, and then throw out a frame 1 Aireal.
Really thought Sheik would be higher on this list or #1. Maybe top players don't see her as big of a threat.
She's kind of just a well rounded character tbh

As a Peach main I agree with the Peach votes. We're degenerates and her toolkit is so fun and intuitive to me, but a little part of my conscience dies when somebody accidentally crouch-cancels the 50th down-smash I've thrown out that match.
(Of course good Peach play is so much more than that move, but at low-to-mid-level way too many players get hit by it way more often than they should)
Yeah, that's why I love to be a marth main because you can space that and if you're tight, you will never be hit by this move and that's awesome. Love this mu
As fox I'll run into it all the time but I'm never mad about it. Peach is a blast to play against. I enjoy the combo routes on her.

As a player still learning how to play competitively, out of all the matches I've played. Puff is the most boring to play against, and Marth is the most frustrating. He just has no lag, and unmatched spacing. I can't approach him

Definitely peach. Only character in the game that will legitimately beat you by doing nothing. They literally never even have to come near you the entire game and they'll still win.

@@DP3mo24hofosho @DP3mo24hofosho Smack dab "level" between casual players and top players. Prolly like standard local tournament (typically 8-100 entrants) players who can get a game/match win here and there but don't win events too much.
As a link main, If I could I would pick ONLINE sheiks. They chain throw dair w no remorse. I'm not great at the game but getting Dthrowed until I die from a fair on the edge of the stage doesn't feel good. All other mu and irl sheiks are fun

Kinda thought I was alone on the falco laser hate. I main falco but I never laser like most falcos do. I’ll throw one out sometimes for a mixup but I know how lasers make me feel in a mirror and I don’t wish that upon my worst enemy. I’d rather lose than win because of lasers
Falco dittos are so annoying if your playing a laser camping Falco. If neutral b was banned from the ditto it would be a top 5 match up easily
Its tough because its such a good tool, but you feel bad playing it. At least spamming it, Im still the noob that does two approaching lazers and then dairs. If im in tournament (or losing in ranked) then i feel less bad.

Falco because falco players pick the coolest most combey character and just camp instead
As falco its fox. Honestly when you're plahing Falco you generally get to be a bit more spacy but still rushdoen aggressive and mean bevause he has wonderful combo tools, but against fox you pretty much have to play spacy because fox is simply faster than you. As Dr. Mario its easily Marth. His up special is one of the hardest out of the top teirs to Cape, his spacing can keep doc far enough away so that doc cant exactly get in good combos, and docs linear recovery pattern makes for easy spacing for D-tilts and F-smashes

I don't think stating marth is unfair because he has a sword is a good argument because roy 😂 but yeah I can see why he could be hated. Playing him for ten years and he's broken and I love it. Hard to find the rhytme with him sometime tho but once you find it oh man
As a marth hater myself my main gripe isnt the sword or the range (although that is a pain with any low mobility character) but the fact that he just has good spacing built into some of his animations. He ducks way down while dashing away and makes it rly difficult to hit him unless u way overshoot, and when he uptilts he twists his body away and causes short moves to whiff at close range
It legit feels like any marth with a decent dashdance game is so slippery and impossible to hit unless they shield
I have come to the conclusion on this video that I hate every melee not for their character but for their character bias
As a falco player, its gotta be Luigi. At least playing against him. Just un comboable cuz floaty and nair, and i hate his dair. Otherwise I support all characters, even Luigi. I just hate fighting him.
the lack of people saying ice climbers for wobbling which is the most BRAINLESS SHIT is insane, difficulty or not, wobbling should be held to a high scrutiny for the lack of brains it takes to play that shitass character(s?)
i guess wobbling is banned now but still, IC is my go-to hatred for that mantra, even if wobbling is banned

Already have beaten bbatts and tamus in a bo3, the rest I've never played. But even then an iron man is a more fitting test of your overall understanding of every character in the game and the only people in this vid who have a chance of beating me in that, are Moky and Zain.
