I love the colors you have used. I believe that these would make a wonderful mobile. Babies, as well as every other age, would love the colors. By the way, Fiona my love, whenever I feel down I just watch a few of your videos and I feel better. You are lovely.
I appreciate the fact that not only do you list the equipment needed but also show them. I also appreciate how you list amounts and I’m very thankful you use Fimo soft because has been so much easily accessible to me during this current polymer clay shortage.
I am so glad it is helpful, I do wonder about doing it at times, as it delays the start of the process, but on balance I think I have had more comments in favour than against, so I will continue to do it :) thank you so much for the very helpful feedback :) And yes, FIMO seems for many people to have been easier to get hold of than some of the other brands during the last couple of years :)
I adore how detailed these videos are. Sometimes, it can be hard to see what materials someone is using or understand what they are doing but I've never once had an issue following your videos. They are literally the perfect formula for anyone to follow, even my kid cousins can. I'll be showing them this video for sure since they have pet fish and would love to make some out of clay! Thank you for your wonderful and soothing work, as always
Hello Fiona. As you know my grandson (Dexter) and I do our clay together and watch you together. He’s having a sleepover (we have been in a bubble as a family so we are safe, they look after me, I’m super lucky). Anyhoo, while watching you, your soothing voice was as good as a bedtime story and off he went!😂😂😂 We will be watching you again tomorrow, he will NOT miss a thing you do. Great tutorial and ty for the help in grand baby sitting 😆
Oh that is priceless and made me giggle :) I am so glad you both enjoy the videos, and that it also helps him nod off ;) Thanks so much Linda and Dexter :)
Muchas gracias Fiona, por sus impresionantes tutoriales. Se nota que además de saber mucho del tema tiene un gusto exquisito para crear. He aprendido mucho con usted. Debo agradecerle que en las explicaciones estén en Ingles, al leerlo lo entiendo perfecto. Es una gran ARTISTA y buena maestra. Toda mi admiración desde España. Otra vez muchas gracias
Oh that was just so much fun. The colour possibility are endless with this project. I could certainly watch you create all day long so I especially like the long videos I do learn so much from them. So thank you. 💜
I'm going to try this out with my granddaughter, she picked it out and wants to do it. With help I believe she will be fairly successful at this. She's very exceptional for her age so we shall see 👀 😉
These are really lovely. I think I've told you before, but I don't work with polymer clay at all. I suffer from insomnia and nightmares and often watch your videos when I cannot sleep. They help me to relax and improve the content of my dreams. So, allow me to thank you again for your videos.
Princezz, you might consider actually trying polymer clay. You really don't need a lot of equipment and it is soooo much fun. It might be a further help to you. Good Luck.
Thanking you so much, love this one, think I'm going to try to make a kitchen clock with the fishes swimming in the center, and a few on the wall, married a fisherman 😁he will love it
These are just delightful and so are you Fiona 💗 Can’t wait to get started on these for my daughter, she loves fish 🐠. Thank you for sharing 😊👏🏻💗 😂Don’t use a toothbrush that someone is using😂 made me LOL
It's definitley there, I have just checked. Follow the link in the description below the video - click where it says ......more and the rest of the description opens up. Then when you are on my website page go right down to the bottom of the UA-cam videos page, and all the templates are listed there. Have fun 🙂
Perfect. I’ve thinking about creating some fish. The problem is I want to hang them around my garden so passers by can be entertained this summer. Can polymer clay last outside? Does it disintegrate in sun and rain? Above the garden that would contaminate the soil. I don’t want that. I might have to use wood.
Many people use polymer clay outside, and there is no problem 'contaminating' the soil. Some colours do fade more quickly than others, so a shaded area would be better, and of course baking sun and very hot temperatures may cause some damage. I have had my covered flower pots in the garden for 2 years now, during hot days - up to 37 degrees, and cold nights, down to -10 degrees and they are fine so far :) The orange clay did fade slightly, but that is all, so go ahead and make them for the garden :) have a look online and you will see quite a few people have hung polymer clay in their gardens :)
I like the orange fish the most. However there's no point in having a gradient in the fish's body, because (1) the gradient isn't visible underneath the scales and (2) the gradient is covered by another layer of monochromatic clay underneath/on the backside.
That's a bit frustrating :( If it's so bad that it turns the yellow completely orange, then I would normally cut out the bit that was changed, and add some more yellow in. But first I would give the machine a bit of a clean. Hope it didn't spoil it too much for you :)
Oh my gosh, is that not the cutest thing ever? Wouldn't those fish look great hanging from a mobile for a child's room? Really adorable!
Oooh yes, that's a great idea :)
Love them - so cute. 🙂
Thanks so much Char 🙂

@@FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals, Great! Thank you. I’m looking forward to creating.
Hi. where can I download the fish template. Love your work.
So cute 😍
Thank you so much :)
Thank you 😊
Lovely ❤️
Thank you Tish :)
Very pretty. My warped brain is trying to make a 3D one by reversing one of 2 fish. Is that possible?
Thank you :), yes very feasible, just as you say, do one, then revers the pattern for the other side :)
Gracias
Where do you get the fish pic from?
Link in description box
Yes, as Melissa says, the link is in the description below the video :)
How is it that your intro music sounds English?
Edit: Haha! I've just looked at your description! Well, the song is very appropriately titled, then!
Yes, I think that may be why I loved it the first time I heard it, and the title made it perfect for me :)
This piece of music was also used for an Edwardian mini-series some years ago (I think) so it is thoroughly British.
Where exactly do we find the template for the fish?
Sorry Jan the link wasn't working, I have just re-done it - look at the video description for the active link :)
@@FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals Thank you.

Thank you Jo :)
