If you want to play Vic 2 look for mods that bring more flavour to game, they are pretty amazing

GFM makes the game about four times slower though.

Everyone wears clothes!" and then two seconds later "Oh, its losing money...and now its bankrupt" just a tip, bureaucrats and clergy increase your literacy and make your lands better. btw Laith you don't have to invade a country just for a resource in vicky2, it's like a real economy you just buy them in international market, in case of factories they'd be bought automatically and prestige prioritize you over other nations

Eh, Victoria 2 is absurdly simple. Diplomacy sucks. Economics is ok, but it's way too easy. Military is Crusader Kings levels of exploitable. "Hurr durr, let me sit on mountain province with gas attack and let the AI kill itself."
If you even want a hint of a challenge you have to go with Liberal so that you have zero control over your economy. Otherwise excuse me while I print out money with factories the AI never builds but desperately needs. That or play as Krakow.
@@kaisercortex4115 Vic 2 players overestimate the complexity of Vic 2. It's not difficult.
@@Gustav_Kuriga its not difficult to play. Under the hood its fairly complex but not overly so. Its mostly that Vic 3 is INCREDIBLY simple. Its not even a real economy. Money just comes out of and disappears into the ether. Almost everything is simulated on the state level instead of the province level.

Victoria 2 is such a weird game. You play it like a level past what it seems. You want rebels sometimes, because you're mostly just incentivizing the people to do what you want and not actually telling them what to do.

Laith I'm not gonna comment every day, but you should play Prussia in Vic2 to learn the game. Either form Super Germany or Normal Germany. It's not as hard as it seems.

Big mistake at the start u should have waited as haiti normal cant aford to keep its army and usually gets rid of it making them totally vunerable plus you shouldnt have landed in the capital.
