Tips for anyone interested:
You can satisfy both the loyalists and the nationalists during the black Monday chain by taking the focuses in a certain order, specifically by prioritizing the ones that increase your PP gain during the event (you will get huge hits to your PP growth in the duration). If you do it right you will have enough PP to grab one of the unlocked decisions (I think you can get more but that would depend on how much PP going into the crisis) and the last focus you need will complete on the same day before the timer runs out. The only downside is that in order to do this you’re not going to be able to take the free civilian factory in the north or south.
Another tip is that during the Gateway to the Atlantic contest the focuses that get unlocked will be very lucrative for a crafty player. Sure you could ignore all of them but if you take ‘em you can pretty much take the whole tree (Gift of the Gab can be safely skipped) and have enough time to spare to even out the odds just enough to keep you independent at the end of it all. Play close attention and you’ll get more out of both nations than they ever will.

@@MacronsKitten There’s another mechanic called “uneasy alliance” or something like that which measures the discontent of both the nationalists and the loyalists with give stability or PP growth debuffs respectively. There’s an entire event that fires sometime before the start of the second Weltkrieg that even allows you to reduce the discontent via decisions and you’ll be given options as the game progresses that allow you to lower the discontent as well. Also it prevents civil war so that’s nice.

for good infantry/special forces, I go 8 infantry 3 arty, then have support arty/rocket arty, engineers, field hospitals, and whatever else to fit the situation
About the supply at 9:00 : The tile is connected to the sea tile, which allows it to be supplied (I‘m bad at explaining, sorry). It‘s a game mechanic, not a bug, as far as I know.

I wonder what Labour would've been like as a majority government, unrealistic as that is. They probably wouldn't have been too radical with the Red Scare and all with the Soviets but they'd be a lot more progressive than Dev and Fianna Fáil were, the "real labour party" they called themselves

I’m guessing it’s so they get some sort of planning bonus or something but why make a field marshal line and an attack order, they aren’t assigned so they won’t get planning bonuses. Pls someone explain why he uses defensive orders is dead of just placing the troops where he wants them
I use the garrison orders so I can place the units where I want to get a planning bonus without the frontline ai moving them around.
