      omg yes!!! PLEASE!!! although honestly, i've been using the krave matcha hemp cleanser on my back, chest and shoulders. i have seen really good results from it. i'm not sure if you're supposed to use it for that, but i gave it a try out of desperation and i'm quite pleased with it. hope it helps if you decide to give it a try!

    I am in love with the style of your skin care videos because they are extremely informative and scientific. I love learning all the stuff that really goes into skincare and whatnot means. So thank you so much! Also because you guys did the “basics” of skincare videos, would anyone else be interested in an “intermediate to advanced” skin care video series? I’d like to know more in depth about products as well as tools that can help with products and what they do for you. Basically I’m trying to absorb as much information as I can like my skin would absorb moisturizer. 😘🥰

    I had been suffering from a really bad bout of hormonal acne and I simplified my routine and now my skin feels so much better! I use a l'oreal green clay cleanser, burts bees acne toner, and elf hello hydration cream every morning and night, as well as a garnier charcoal scrub once per week. I always thought of drugstore salicylic acid products as being super drying and uncomfortable ( like that acne cleanser you mentioned) but using it in toner form has changed the game for me. As a student, I can't really afford to spend tons of money on skincare right now so this routine is a life saver.

    I think it would be really awesome if you guys did seasonal routines! (Like one for winter, summer, spring and fall). I find that it would be really cool because each season brings different temperatures and weather conditions and since I’m somewhat new to skincare, I’ve been having a fairly difficult time finding products that aren’t too heavy or light for my skin for each season. Also, could you explain what each of you look for in texture depending on the seasons? (Do you prefer a gel texture, heavier consistency, tackier product etc. Also, do you use the same products morning and night (Minus sunscreen of course)
    Thanks for reading my comment! 💕

    • @BeautyWithin

      oo this is such a great idea, than you!! because NYC is so hot and humid during summertime, I prefer light gel textures for morning and night (maybe thicker during night if my skin happens to be dry!). for cold and dry winters, I like heavy and thick creams. we'll elaborate on this in future videos! hope this helps for the time being :) -Ro

    Here's a tip I learned!
    If u have sensitive skin or putting something cold on your skin doesn't help. U can put a cold towel that was stored in the fridge on the back of your neck for 20 mins and it'll help! The face doesn't actually get cold from putting something cold on top, the heat comes from the back of the neck so if u put something on the back of your neck. The cold will seep under your skin.

    Hi! I remember you guys saying that AHA/BHAs cancel out the effectiveness of vitamin C in the skincare combos video. But isn’t the tatcha serum a vitamin C and AHA?

    • @Miss_LadyAplomb
      @Miss_LadyAplomb 5 років тому +6

      thoughtsofafan It doesn’t necessarily cancel out, it’s just the order you use it in. BHA, AHA, Vitamin C. It’s not that they aren’t effective together in the same product. If the Tatcha has both, there’s probably other ingredients that are used to activate both. 🤗

    • @marissasun77
      @marissasun77 5 років тому +1

    • @bryanoseman3572
      @bryanoseman3572 5 років тому +1

      Keep in mind that the Tatcha Vitamin C serum is a derivative form of Vitamin C (THD). I can understand if it was the actual legit L-Ascorbic Vitamjn C but since it’s in a derivative form and is more stable...I think that’s why it can be used with AHA.

    Question: if I use farmacy’s honeymoon glow chemical exfoliant can I still use the tatcha vitamin C serum? I know the tatcha one has aha in it too. Can I alternate the two products or is that too much chemical exfoliating?

    Hi Rowena, Hi Falicia 🤘
    I am a new-B to k-beauty (like 2019) and since then started following Beauty Within. I have hyperpigmentation and by now I know Vit C is my holy grail. However, when I first heard about kbeauty, I purchased all necessary products like double cleansers, toners, essence, serum, moisturizer, exfoliates, sheet masks, sleeping masks, phewwww! Now that I want to incorporate vit c in my routine, would you be able to show a full routine with vit c serum included. Cause I know most of the products can make vit c ineffective. What’s the best way to do this......it’ll be helpful if you can say for all skin types but my skin type is the same as Rowena’s; combination more towards the dry side.
    Thank you in advance
    Melissa 💕

    I have never cared about skincare. But now I'm 19 and I suddenly thought I should at least start using a toner. Am still confused on what to try. My skin is more of normal to combo I guess. Any straight suggestions? ANd I'd prefer not the high end products. The low to mid range ones?

    I have a question. I know double cleansing is really popular but you say here that the cleanser (KRAVE Matcha) is sufficient to take off sunscreen. I don’t wear makeup. I’m a guy. Is it necesssry for me to double cleanse? I started to use a balm (Farmacy Green Clean) and it just seems like I’m going overboard. I was using physical (Drunk Elephant) now I’m trying Korean chemical ones (Klairs UV Essence currently) any thoughts?

    • @Marigold6666

      If you don’t wear makeup I don’t think you need to double cleanse! I personally only double cleanse on days I wear makeup to make sure I take off all my makeup before toning, moisturizer, etc.

      I normally don’t wear makeup so I only cleanse once, double cleansing is for when you wear makeup. There’s no point of doubles cleansing if you don’t wear makeup

      second Marigold and Ash! I don't believe its necessary to double cleanse if you don't wear makeup. cleansing with an oil balm and rinsing it off properly should be good enough :) -Ro

      Tainted Life As long as your sunscreen isn’t waterproof or is stubborn to wash off, only washing it off with cleansing oil OR a face wash is good enough.

    Hi! I wanted to ask you a question. I have oily, acne prone and sensitive type of skin. I just started using a night cream with 2% BHA, Niacinamide. It also has Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate, Zinc Oxide and a few oils. It makes my acne go from deep skin to the top of my skin? I think you know what I mean. Is it suppose to work like this? I'm using acids for the first time so I just wanted to ask you. Thank you in advance for your answer! ♥

    • @RutujaDicholkar
      @RutujaDicholkar 5 років тому

      Yes you could experience skin purging initially. I'm using 2% BHA and niacinamide in my skin routine too in the form of serums. It does help acne prone skin in the long run. I've seen my bumpy texture vanishing and scars fading in 2 months.
