I would also suggest boosted loader for all the wingman drills because if you are low on ammo and need to reload before the dummy respawns, then you get an extra 2 shots in that mag
You can also do the easter egg to activate the dummies as well. Gives you moving targets that shoot at you also. So you can practice healing/shield swapping while working on recoil control too!
@@ceaxyt4933 I got you fam. So what you wanna do is, go to the spawn point second to last from the left switch your character to Valkyrie go into the left spawn point fly on top of this little platform with the little lip in the front jump on the lip look straight down crouch drop your weapon and switch your characters you should hear a little clinging sound and immediately they start shooting. Hope this helps
If you like, you can swap the R99 for the Flatline, Havoc, or Devotion if you feel like challenging yourself (both with Turbocharger) since these 3 guns have the highest recoil in the AR/LMG category
Dude thank you so much. This works wonders on controller cause most people suck so if you hit your shots and movement you are gonna win. Immediately after doing this the first time I was not missing with the wingman and I hit my first wall jump in a fight that saved my ass from a master squad pushing me! It was beautiful haha
I do the same up to the point of simulating a real fight. I am an hyper aggressive Octane main. I go to the center pad and slide off the ramp then afterwards I crouch and strafe with the Wingman. Sometimes I also go for shots off the ziplines. I really hope this comment helps someone with their aim
Hmm... I was literally doing the first one last night, grabbed a wingman and a purple mag and practiced flicking from all the targets around that middle dummy while hitting as many headshots as I could before it respawned
To add: do the test dummy easter egg, so they start moving and shooting. its not like real enemies but it comes close and atleast you are not trying to aim on a stationary target. for the easter egg to activate, pick horizon/pathfinder, go to the far right spawn chamber (the one at the chargetower side) go into the chamber where you would spawn when entering the test range. there is some sort of steel beam if you look up, use horizen/pathfinder ability to get up there. place yourself in the middle and drop everything from your inventory. now look down, crouch and swap your legend to something else (there should be a sound after swapping) now slide downhill, the test dummies should now move and shoot at you, grab a shield and your weapons and start killing them. thats the closest to real enemies you can train with in the test range.
Hey CPT, are you sure this works atm? When the evolution event came out, it looked like when you changed legend - it just respawned you and didn't spawn the bots anymore. Same thing with the Third Party easter egg :(
Hey Kelly! No, it doesn't HURT to put a scope on your weapons. But, I always prefer to practice with no scopes, because you want to be able to use the weapons when you get them off spawn too :) I personally do scopes, only when I feel like I need to practice a specific sight. OR if I'm changing my per-scope magnification settings
This is the most helpful video I have ever watched! I have played shooters for 2 years, and have always been stuck at bronze level. @@jakubbieniek103 I have played for 2 years but I’m a busy person and don’t get to play all the time. And I’m a slow learner and have gone back and forth to pc and console. So that’s why I’m still stuck there. But I have made it to gold level since 2 weeks ago after this comment!!

My whole warm up is a custom playlist in Kovaaks on controller which is actually a lot of fun. Then I move in game one clipping dummies standing still and only looking at recoil control and thumb coordination with different guns. Then I do the same with tracking. After that I do a old west style drill where I line up with my wingman and have the dummy directly in the middle and cycle through all targets you can hit a perfect clip if you one shot every target and 3 shot the dummy. The last thing I do is just jump and dash around and try and do some ghost runner stuff. I watched an Aceu video and he mentioned that he looks at the game like mirrors edge I’ve never played it but Ghostrunner was similar so it clicked. I’m still a potato but my kd has gone up from a .73 to .90 and climbing. I feel much less handicapped playing against pc players now though I feel much more confident taking gunfights. It’s been a struggle but it’s been enjoyable every step of the way seeing growth in myself.
First off, Kovaaks is AMAZING. The only reason we didn't cover it here is because we wanted to offer something for console players too :) Second, I'm so glad to hear about your KD! But, I also love that you're getting more confident facing PC players and taking gunfights. That's the bigger thing, so kudos! I hope our videos continue to help you :)
My daily warm up rn is: -warm up / stretch hands. -go to firing range.. -stationary kill dummies with flatline / R301 / alternator / carr with no attachments and then with lvl 2 attachments.(just my preference on guns) -strafe aiming / keeping crosshair on target. -empty mags on far targets. -track / shoot moving targets with same 4 guns -g7 / bocek / p2020 drills at least 5x each. (Just added this in) -1 or 2 games of ranked arenas -1 or 2 hotdrops in pubs then done and off to ranked matches. Ofcourse thats only on days that i have a good chunk of time, other wise its just shoot the dummies / targets real quick then move around while keeping crosshairs on stuff and 1 round of arenas to get my head in the live gunfight zone then its off to ranked. Any additional suggestions to add in are welcome if you have some that really work.
i have some questions on a different topic. soo...i never played ranked in my life and for some reason the last few days i always had rounds withhigh level player like 100+ and even 500. the problem is im only a level 29 player, so im quite confused as to why this happens.
Well, everyone's level doesn't necessarily correlate to their skill. IE you might face a level 100 player, who is WAY better than a level 500. The level just means how long they've been playing for :)
It means ur doing as good as them so just keep playing buddy, be confident and don’t be intimidated by levels or badges, I promise you it doesn’t mean much
The video is amazing and gave me new ideas on practicing What i usually do : 1- fire range 2- arena games because the are faster in queuing 3- hope into a rank My issue mainly is finding teammates 🤣
go through jurney of achieving lower plats like plat 3/2 solo quing ( just focus on staying alive and finding good endgame spot early( typically the place where there's zone behind u and you cant get pushed from a lot of sites at once) . Do that after beeing gold 3 i'd say , just take 50/50 fight at the start if your teammates communicate with u , land next to 1 or 2 teams at most , then let the endgame fight come to you , but before that( in bronze and silver) just fight everything to get practice of staying alive in the most bullshit situations.
then try to find teammates and communicate as much as you can and always chooze who's calling the shots ( who will be in game leader). and about teammates . Just play pubs and when you find someone you feel can be a nice teammate and maybe even is better than you try to play with them cause you'll learn a lot and maybe that person/people will become your main teammates:)
From my experience in climbing solo to diamond These tips will mostly help you in plat 1. You get free kills from camping the edges of ring 1 and 2 2. I find it better to look behind the dropship to check if no one's dropping at a certain place so I can drop there instead 3. Positioning starts getting more important at ring 3 4. If you're confident in your shotcalling you will be the one mostly pinging your next move and moving first so your team follows you 5. Learning how to disengage is important 6. If you're in the edge of the ring at round 4 look for ratters 7. If the round 5-6 ring covers an open area go to the edge of the ring with good cover and just push in to the edge of the next ring
I like to put some jump pads down and practice my air shots with the pk or the wing man will help your ablitty to stay locked on a target that's moving since your flying thru the air.
I know pulsing is making it easier or considered a no no in this vid but you can jam up the recoil reset if you know when to cut through the cycle speed of your weapon it'll be almost indistinguishable from full auto the flatline is easiest to hear. but if I'm wrong correct me.
Tysm for this useful videos! Im improving so much, only wanna ask , how to hit more shotgun shots more consistenly and how can i practice to improve this?, Cause i fail a lot of shots with shotguns, i am better with a wingman in close range😆
The same drill (especially the first one) would work PERFECTLY for shotguns. Practicing precision aiming. If you struggle with shotguns, one thing that can help you is practicing taking time with your shots. A lot of people panic, when using shotguns. And that's why they dont find success with them. The biggest thing is to breathe, and focus on hitting those shots. And that's something you can practice with the Flick Aim drill we discussed :)
I cannot stress enough how important warming up is. When you warm up, you become in the zone. Before I warmed up, I was getting 1k games. Right after I warmed up, I got 4k damage with 10 kills. I have improved so much since I started.
When practicing my flicks with the wingman I like fully kitting 2 wingmans I never need to reload that way and its all wingman shots. It really doesn't matter to much because with the boosted loader its so fast anyway but I still like it
I personally just run 2 arena matches. An average match runs for about 5 minutes if you go 3-0, about 15-20 minutes if you go to sudden death. Its like firing range but with the guns you want and as you upgrade your guns round by round, you can learn recoil patterns based on how much attachments you upgrade the gun to have i.e start with a base r99, then use common attachments, then blue, then purple. You also get to fight real people who have real strategy and movement. It doesnt work everytime though as sometimes you go up against sweaty players but I personally prefer fighting real people than fighting dummie.
