Yup, as a Caustic main there are many times when my traps will set off behind me and without the hit markers, I wouldn’t even know they were set off hinting at the enemies approaching behind my team
Bro u don’t know how much this helped me, I recently started maybe 4ish weeks ago and now with this video out I’m able to improve on my skills. Keep up the great work 👍
@6:55 this gave me whiplash!!! I'm also guilty of #10 lol But sometimes when I am able to push that feeling away and stick with my teams, those are usually the matches I end up winning.
@@northwastaken slide jump sure, but wall jumping is super situational and can get you killed if used incorrectly. A lot of pro players barely ever wall jump.
The thing is about movement, I feel extremely confident with super glides, tap strafes, and strafing but when the fight is close range it feels like I cant slide, and it feels if I am just crouching. so do you have any tips on that!
For reference I started playing at the end of August. I'm lvl 120ish, Plat 4 in BR and Gold 2 in arenas. I have around 200+ hours mostly solo que the whole time. 1. To get comfortable with every weapon, after the firing range go play arenas and pick guns you don't normally use. As a newer player I was just going after the battle pass challenges but I now realized this is what helped me the most. Also when you are in the firing range do not put on any attachments to simulate a drop situation. My favorite primary gun is the r99. So I put an emphasis on learning the recoil with no barrel stabilizer. This will boost your overall confidence so you spend lest time looting and more importantly, limiting yourself mid gunfight because you are not comfortable with your set up. Make your mistakes on arenas, get aggressive with a sniper, use a wingman and a p2020. Challenge yourself. 2. Use arenas to learn new legend abilities and how to use any legend for offense and defense. This is especially important for pathfinder and defensive legends like rampart. Knowing when to place one of here walls and where mid fight comes down to in game sense. 3. Before you step in the firing range use aim labs. Especially for my fellow controller players out there. Focus on flicking and tracking.
As a certified no life I agree with this. In arena I use guns I'm most comfortable with in ranked. Anyone reading this only use guns you aren't comfortable with in pubs. In ranked arena this is the worst possible thing you could do. however, if you aren't using META guns, use them, if they feel uncomfortable get comfortable, for instance, right now the most meta guns are Lstar, Devo and Eva 8. Use these depending on the situation. Eva 8, it's a shotgun. Use it on close range maps. Devo is good on literally any map. Long, mid or short range it's all good. Same with Lstar.
Tip if your going for better movement: Don't overdo movement while fighting to the point of having bad times hitting shots. A person with good aim and poor movement is more likely to win a fight than a person with good movement and poor aim.
I’m level 440 on ps, and I’m honestly pretty bad. I have a 1.25 kd and 400 avg dmg. I knew the majority of these things already, I just think the reason I’m not too great is because I’m not that good at aiming. So I would just say to anyone that doesn’t have great aim like me, figure out if there are any characters that you can get a good advantage with, because that can win you fights.
Off topic but when’s the split? I just started playing late this season and I just hit plat 2 and my Friends and I just heard about a split? When is it
Doors are great and all, but today I was fighting a wraith who was better then me by far, I managed to crack her shields, she healed on a door so I couldn’t open it. Then I realized I had a revved up rampage, and lets just say they probably threw their controller at their screen. (edit I realized the end didn’t have much context but, the revved up rampage can break down doors, but wingman sentinel and lstar can *open* them if u shoot the handles)
If you saw, we actually bundled 2 of the tips together (to save time on the video) Because they were related. Thank you so much for the compliment though :D
Ping changes constantly, so does the other player's. These two combined is probably more significant of a variable to try to adapt to for most people. Afterall, it is pretty unnatural to have to accommodate for ping.
Well, no. Those topics we covered there, are really advanced. We recommend those 2 videos because we made entire videos about how to improve them. Rather than repeating information, or telling you less information: we wanted to remind people those videos were there :)
Ottr baught this course payed nearly 300 dollers then has to wait 4 weeks before it starts tbh it seems a rip off as rotations and preparing for mid and l8 games don't really apply to ranked play it's more comp play will have to see though but it just seems a waste of time and money
nah. to get good at apex you just need to have a good pc spec that can run apex at 100+fps constant and practice in pubs. i have mastered almost all movement tech and have good aim tracking. the only problem is my pc spec is ryzen 2200g 8gb ram and 1050ti 4gb with 30mbps wired connection. the lag makes me wanna throw my pc sometimes.
damage indicators are actually good because they let you know if someone hit your thermite, wattson fence, or caustic barrel
Yeah, as a Caustic main, I was about to comment on that.
Yeah, especially funny too if you're a Fuse that loves carrying 8 thermites for some reason
@@cairax23 why is that me when i dont feel like playing pathy🤣

I think #10 might be the most common one that people do! Taking a breather is SUPER useful, give it a go!
top 3 mistakes in season 10
number 3: play the game
number 2: fight seer
number 1: play with a wraith teammate
Seer got nerfed pretty good tho so he ain’t really all that
You don't need advanced movement to win games, you just need to be smart. So many pro players don't used any advanced movement
You still need to know how to slide jump or walljunp for example they are very basic but very important
@@northwastaken slide jump sure, but wall jumping is super situational and can get you killed if used incorrectly. A lot of pro players barely ever wall jump.
ShivFPS, the Solo Q Warlord is my hero. Why focus on advanced movement when I can't aim for shit.

Hi im a newbie too :)
you should do a september 2021 beginners guide as im trying to get better at this game
Hop in the firing range , turn on the bots and you’ll prolly get substantially better by your own. Just my opinion .
Number 16: Avoid ranked on Kings canyon to save your sanity
One of the best tips here honestly

Best tips as always!!!👍👍👍👍👍
Seeing this on the day season 11 comws out.
Be patient in fights. Dont ego push. Play smart. Super aggressive players can easily be beaten with smart positioning
Great video
I'm month 2 in but I can't seem to go past Plat 4. Is there a ranked video to help increase RP gains? Cuz I feel like I'm missing something.
How do clubs work in apex? I'm looking for a duos teammate with a mic.

Actually instead of tilt queuing go to the firing range
No, they removed some of the jump towers in Olympus because of Valkyrie’s ultimate.
Wah if u play on 160ping then can your game be saved or not
Imperial Hals $300 course bro?! Thats too expensive. Does his course come with a special night out with SSniper wolf or somethin?!
dont forget looting time, most player die during loot box for to long
So if you turn hit marker off does it still show that someone went into my gas traps? Asking all the ThickBoiCaustic mains same as Wattson fences
no it doesn't
