@@EmilyMcVicker I hope @Boss sees it, too! And then I trust you will post your really great covers and tutorials and teach me how to use mine when it finally arrives! :-) By the way... I DO want to see how you've connected your gear for live streaming. (I should probably put this comment on that video, but I'm already here.)
Clearheaded introduction, smooth looping, great performance. Awesome. Seeing that live on twitch just enhances the magic
aww Zoutsteen!! thank you so much. those are some thoughtful compliments :)
Sweet
Great
Thanks! ❤️❤️
Thanks for teaching!
Aww good! I’m glad you dig it! 🥰🥰
This makes one happy. :)
Awww GOOD! I think Bobby McFerrin would like hearing that :)
Can't help but be happy listening to those Melody Wooooooo's! 👏
Aww Ken 🥰 thanks my friend!

Thanks Timothy!
Bravo ! Super nice . Great talent. J'aime beaucoup 😍. Merci pour les très bons tuto ! Je commence bientôt a travaillé le looping, tes conseil sont très précieux. Have a good day 😃
Merci! Je n parle pa fracias. Ar revoir!
Hello Miss Emily Mcvicker, it is great hearing you... You did a great job... don't have a looper board, but I would like your help braking down the song like you just did... I am helping a group of seniors learn that song, but I don't know how to get each one to do each part of the song ... I'm trying to do acapella...
Thank you for your time and understanding
Michael Antonio Witter
Awesome-Thats so cool of you! Are you using the same vocal parts as me? Is there a way you can copy what I did but use it with a group of people?
Sounds great!
Thanks so much Nick!!

❤️❤️❤️
Very very cool. You should be getting UA-cam hits in the million. Have watched quite a few of your cruise ship vids. You have the full package in terms of musicality and a melliferous voice. Have rc 600 due to you. Have got fly me to moon off pat with a bosa beat on cajon looped with mic just isolated to track 1 so muted when o recording / acoustic guitar/ bass via RC 600 transpose / vocals direct though second mic and then vibraphone via electro harmonix key 9 guitar synth thing. I’m planning on working with a double bass player but I don’t think I will mention the transpose function to him!
I think I want to have a go at don’t worry be happy
You have a great way of explaining the functionality of what is quite a hefty bit of tech kit. I think it could actually be dangerous in the wrong hands.
Wishing you all sucess
You’re so sweet Steve! And WOW! That’s the best use of the second mic function I’ve heard so far. I bet you have a cool show!
Thanks for writing and checking out my videos! Let me know how it goes with your new 600 :) and I’ll be sure to keep making videos! 🤘🤪
This is amazing and super helpful! I love how you stop the loop and start all going into the chorus. So smooth it seems like magic!
Yes! Isn’t that an effective technique! If the loops can all work together, it’s a good trick 👍👍👍
That was really awesome. You would have to have really good timing and practice to work with a looping machine by the looks of it. Wish I could see live, it would be a real experience.
Heya G-Rock! You're right it probably comes across a little different live. And the audience interaction is a little different when i can hear the crowd for an in-person show. The nice thing about video is you can get a close up on the pedal action.
My goal is to see you Live somewhere! Wonderful stuff! and yes Be Happy! (ex's and oh's)
Oh man! Exes and ohs could be pretty sick!
Assuredly McFerrin's most famous song, and fun, but much of his work is vastly better, and much more complex, jazz, classical, etc. A good place to start is one of his solo shows, or the collab with Chick Corea, for anyone who cares to check him out. He almost created a new genre, MHO.
Your rendition was fun, too. By about 4:40 my thought was that this song really suits your voice. I sat here grinning like an idiot. You definitely brought your own style. Bobby's a very uplifting and cheerful guy, too. Cheers.
Yes definitely. I’ve had a bunch of his records and they are usually pretty different aren’t they? This is just the most commercially successful one. And it works well with a looper
Love the production level and professionalism, so proud of how successful a fellow streamer will be in no time! 👍🔥
Thanks so much Daniel!!! 🥰🥰
Hi Emily.. I liked what you did here.. And guess what? - I ran you throug my new Bose L1 Pro 8... - And what a sound!!! -He, He.. (I think you would have been shocked yourself) 🙂
Wait what?
Great version! I’ve been enjoying your explanations of how you approach looping. I’d be interested to see how you deal with songs with Verse, Chorus and Bridges especially if there are variations in intros/outros. I’ve been using a TC Electronic Ditto X4 with my guitar for the past few years and it’s been a fun journey trying to build arrangements for songs with more complex structures. Since it is a 2-track system, I have been using a midi-synced Beat Buddy to provide rhythm. Thanks again for the great videos and performances.
Yes yes definitely! Any specific song?

A couple of possibilites that I would be interested in since the forms offer some challenges. No need to do both, but I wanted you to have a choice :). I appreciate it.
Let's Stay Together by Al Green. The form of the original recording is:
Horns Intro - 4 bars (possibly a "throwaway" since it isn't repeated)
Verse - 16 bars
Verse - 16 bars
Chorus - 8 bars
Instrumental Bridge - 8 bars (played one time only)
Verse - 16 bars
Chorus - 8 bars
Chorus - Fades
I could see possibly merging the 1st Chorus and Bridge together as one section, and fading out before it gets to the Bridge at the end after the 2nd chorus.
OR
Mr. Blue Sky by ELO
The Verses and Choruses can be considered a section each or could be chopped in to recurring chord progressions since they aren't consistent in length.
Intro - Vamping on F chord (never repeats)
Verse 1 - 24 bars (or two chord progressions of 12 bars)
Chorus - 18 bars (or two chord progressions of 8 bars + 2 bars)
Verse 2 - 24 bars (guitar solo takes up first 12 bars and then vocal section for 12 bars)
Chorus - 26 bars (or three chord progressions of 8 bars + 2 bars)
Verse 3 - 24 bars (keyboard/voice solo takes up first 12 bars and then vocal section for 12 bars) *note there is a slight change of chord progression in the last part of this verse only, so incorporating this might involve the "verses" being only 12 bars throughout the song and this the final chord change section is a "throwaway" since it happens only one time*
Chorus - 16 bars (or two progressions of 8 bars)
Choral section - No need to do the rest of the song.
Thanks for any advice you have on doing these types of songs. Sometimes I do a lot of foot stomping to cut in and out of sections to accurately recreate the form of the originals, but other times I opt to leave out parts of a song if it's not critical and adds complexity for looping.
Excellent and informative video again thanks. I’ve only recently started using the RC 30 looper and was thinking of upgrading to the RC300 but think I might hold off until I see how you get on with the RC 600 and see how you like it compared to the RC 300…pros and cons. Plus I need to save up anyway lol. Still trying to perfect my beatboxy skills too 😀
Makes sense! Stay tuned!
If you wanna play with me tracks, try the app Loopy
😭 I would recommend 🤔: Stand By Me.. 😭
Oh ya! Classic! That’s a great suggestion 👏👏👏 stay tuned!
fabulously famous feet flicking formulations of fantastic fusions of marvelous music.... hic.... magnificently....
Nice alliteration! Like how I read the whole comment live on twitch?? Haha
@@EmilyMcVicker complete with hiccup! You're the best!
Wait, so, even if you predetermine 2 bars on track 1.... the next loops can vary in length - you made a 8 bar loop for all else thanks to the auto function?
Yes! That’s what I used to do on the 300. Lately tho on my 600, I’ve been using the “free” setting. So all the tracks can vary in length 👍
very inspiring and emotional, but I have no one to cook scrambled eggs ...
