I know this video is 1 year old, but what I'd LOVE to see is how you set up your BOSS properly to be able to record in such ways. I noticed your play/dub buttons are same lengths (shorter than actual loop you're recordings tho), + you can set it so that it auto-dubs when it hits certain length. Any chance you can walk through boss setup to achieve those results? Thanks in advance and I hope you're safe&sound! Cheers from Poland!

Ki5 appreciate it!!! I don’t have boss 505 but a smaller 202 version and it seems like some of the settings you have are not available for me, but this is very informative. I’ve managed to connect my RC202 to the guitar amp and make it so that I can loop from microphone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and sounds coming from my Mac (eg drums using iRig Pads - that are also my rc202 foot switch thanks to some CC codes and midi thru ;D

I record the audio from the USB out to GarageBand on my computer. It's not new software by any means, but it does the trick. Since I do things this way, I have to sync the audio with my videos later, but it's usually not too bad.
